The Headmaster Alpha's Mate
The Headmaster Alpha’s Mate Chapter 126

Peter walked down the long dark corridor of the council building towards his office. He paused just outside the door something was wrong, his wolf pacing around in his head, clearly agitated. Placing his ear against his office door he could hear a faint rustling inside. His wolf let out a low growl, his senses on overdrive. Sniffing the air, Peter could smell a scent he recognised all to well, taking another breath, he quickly mind linked Helen his mate one of the only other people he could trust.

“Amanda Bines is in my office.”

Not receiving a reply, Peter opened the door, and stood his mouth slightly open in shock.

Amanda had Helen sat behind his desk, her body tied with silver chains, the putrid stench of wolfsbane filled his nostrils.

His mate’s eyes were rolling into the back of her head, her beautiful face battered and bruised. She was his life, his other half, a part of his very soul, fear washed over him as Peter lunged to get to her to save his reason for existence.

“Ahh just in time.” Amanda gave him an evil grin.

Then taking a silver dagger, she grabbed hold of Helen’s hair, tilting her head back then slit her throat before he could reach his mate. Peter growled, Helen didn’t stand a chance, not filled with wolfsbane, and tied with silver. The pain of his mate’s death knocked him off his feet as he began to howl falling to his knees.

Two hands grabbed him, from behind, a low chuckle erupted from Alpha Ken’s throat as he clasped silver handcuffs around Peters wrists.

With a loud cackle Amanda walked over to Peter, picking up a syringe with her glove covered hands, and injecting into the vein in his neck, instantly he began to foam at the mouth, and struggled to stop himself from slipping into unconsciousness.

“Oh, how the mighty have fallen, look at you, the Alpha leader of the council, weakened under the power of a simple herb, a smidgen of silver and of course the severing of the mate bond.” Amanda said with a manic laugh.

“How it must hurt to be outsmarted by a mere Omega, and now at my mercy. To have watched a omega overpower your supposedly strong mate, and kill her in front of you, making you weak and pathetic.” Amanda laughed just before the black that was nipping at the edges of his vision descended like a curtain and he was plunged into darkness as he whispered “Helen” into the air.

Robin growled as the stinking feral beasts ran in wolf form onto his pack land. There were hundreds of them, it was evident Amanda and Ken had been busy recruiting the rogue wolves to their cause, just by the shear amounts of them now on his pack lands, trying to attack him, they thought he was the weaker of the trio of alphas, well Robin was going to give these mangy mutts a lesson on just how strong he actually was.

“Fight in human form as long as possible.” Robin shouted the command to the gathered warriors.

“Wait until you see the yellow of their eyes.” Lacey added, not wanting their warriors to attack before they needed to.

“Show no mercy.” Issac added.

Three rogues jumped ran towards Robin and Lacey, and they crouched down, in a fighting stance ready to defend the pack, their king and queen, their beliefs and strike back, determined to defeat the enemy.

All to soon, the rogues were upon them, Robin quickly grabbed hold of the stinking wolfs jaw by the chin and snout, then using his superior strength he dislocated it, before jumping up into the air, landing on its back, then with both arms around its scrawny neck he twisted. The Wolf fell to the floor, swiftly turning into a skinny dirty human, eyes wide and vacant.

“One down 99 or so to go.” Robin shouted, as Lacey and Issac ran towards the attackers and began to fight them, easily picking off the weaker rogues.

Warriors led by Delphine teamed onto the battlefield from the Silver Moon pack, as howls of pain filled the air, as they fought the rogues, holding them off until help would arrive.

Liane hid in a small dug out and waited in the thick forest in the no man’s land between the Silver Moon and Sliverback packs. It would take approximately an hour for the Warrior wolves of Sliverback pack to arrive, she could have easily moved them, but they had to stick to the plan, she could not reveal herself or her gift to the enemy just yet. Her heart beat in her chest, as she anxiously waited, all she could hope is that she was not discovered. However, her gift would keep her safe, the ability to disappear was her best defence. She looked at her watch, it had been forty-five minutes since the Rogues had attacked Silvermoon, and she hoped they were all okay. They just needed to hold off the feral beasts, for a little while longer.

The sounds of branches breaking and pounding of paws on the earth, caused her to go on full alert, as she peered out into the forest from her dug out. She froze slightly, hoping it was the Silverback warriors and not the enemy. This whole plan relied on her ability to transport wolves from pack to pack in the blink of an eye, if she had to disappear now, all would be lost.

Terrance led his small team of warriors through the forest, running as fast as they could, towards Robin and Lacey. As they reached the pack lands of Silver moon, they shifted, and ran towards the affray. The ground beneath his feet was already soaked with b***d, dead bodies lay in heaps.

“Terrance, take the left flank.” Delphine shouted across, she was covered in the b***d of her enemies, as she punched another rogue across the field into the path of her mate who quickly shifted and bit down on the wolf wrestling it down to the ground.

Lacey’s wolf had a rouge in its jaws as she violently shook it, the sickening crack of its neck sounded out, and she spat the wolf out, before turning round to find two more circling her snarling and snapping.

Josh stood watching and waiting, Jerry growling impatiently in his mind. as a line of enemy warriors approached from the trees. He saw a group file off heading towards the cottage, and he supressed a smirk, the plan was working.

“Defend the pack house” Josh gave the order, to his remaining warrior wolves, then with Gav, Kris and Zoe at his side he shifted and ran towards the attackers. Finally the waiting was over, and he could get on with the job of protecting his pack.

Peter blinked, as he opened his eyes. The smell of urine filled his nostrils, his face wet as splashes of piss hit his face and dripped off his chin. Alpha Ken, the disgusting beast he was had emptied his bladder all over the head of the council’s face. It was an act aimed to show dominance over Peter, but to the head of the council only proved what a true coward Ken of Ullswater really was.

Snarling Peter growled at Ken, but the wolfsbane in his system prevented him from shifting. The burn on his wrists now covered his body as he glanced down to find him self completely wrapped in thick silver chains, his mind focused, remembering the death of his mate, the pain of it hitting like a tidal wave as he let out a loud primal scream.

“So pathetic, this is why you are not fit to rule the council.” Amanda stated, letting out a loud deranged cackle.

“Now, you are going to do something for me.” She continued a sick smile on her face.

Peter, spat upwards towards the psychopathic woman, hitting her square in the face.

Ken growled out, and punched Peter square in the jaw.

“Untie me, make this a fair fight.” Peter growled out, between the screams from the soul shattering pain from the death of his mate, and the burn of the silver, made even more excruciating from the wolfsbane in his system.

“I don’t think so.” Ken laughed.

“Oh, why is that? Are you scared that even as weak as I now am, you will be defeated? You are that weak of an alpha you let an omega wolf command you, rule you. Pathetic.” Peter hissed, hoping to goad him into taking off the chains and give himself half a chance, he fully believed in the equality of ranks, but this piece of s**t before him didn’t and he knew this would fuel Kens anger and wound his pathetic pride.

“The only reason you are alive is that you have to do something I want.” Amanda’s high-pitched voice, shouted.

“Shut Up!” Peter shouted, mustering as much of his Alpha tone as he could manage from his severely weakened wolf.

Instantly Amanda’s wolf whimpered under its power and began to submit. Peter let out a cruel laugh, when Ken’s foot connected with his ribs, a sickening snap filling the air and more pain consumed his body.

Ken looked over to Amanda, she may think she was calling the shots, but she was still just a lowly omega, disposable. Once he had rid his world of the threat from the royal packs, he would take great delight in allowing his mate the opportunity to kill her. Anne had been jealous of the amount of time he had spent with this woman, but she was a means to an end, gifting this woman to his mate once they had won this war would get him back into his Luna’s good book, and he would be able to return to their bedroom once more, something both him and his wolf desperately needed after six months of not connecting with his mate.

“You are going to die today, but the way you die is up to you.” Ken snarled down at Peter.

“f**k you.” Peter growled out.

“Not into men thanks.” Ken threw his head back and laughed at his own joke.

“We can do this the nice way, or the hard way, but in the end, I will get what I want, and you will join your pathetic mate” she shouted, recovering herself from the power of the Alpha tone.

“I said shut up!” Peter once more mustered as much of his alpha strength as he could, to give the command, but he was getting weaker by the second, and he knew this ability would soon leave him.

“Nobody is coming to save you, your allies at the council are all dead. We have taken over, all you need to do now is sign over your authority to Amanda she is the only council member left who can lead. Then you will rescind the referendum order, after that I will give you a nice painless death, ending your suffering, letting your wolf join his mate in the afterlife.” Ken smiled down at Peter.

“NEVER!” Peter growled out.

Peter knew that even if he died, they could not stop the referendum unless the head of the council who had preceded them had signed to rescind the order. If he did not do that, then the election would still take place by law. He would rather die in agony in a vat of silver than make this deranged omega who had killed his beautiful mate his successor or stop that referendum.

“So, the nasty way it is then. So be it.” Ken chuckled, then grabbing a silver dagger he plunged it into Peters leg, hitting an artery, leaving it imbedded in the skin, making sure he would blead out, very slowly and in excruciating pain.

Taking hold of a pack of toothpicks, Ken winked at Amanda, as she walked over, and with a sinister cackle she begun to insert them under each of Peter’s fingernails, as he screamed out once more, but there was nothing they could do to him, that would me more painful than his soul being ripped away from him from the death of his beloved Helen.

“This can stop anytime you want, all you need to do is sign the documents, and we will let you rest in peace.” Amanda grinned down at Peter, as his body lay contorted on the floor writhing in agony.

Peter could feel his wolf retreating further and further in his mind, unable to fight from a mixture of grief the wolfsbane in his system, or the burn of the silver, but with a gasp of breath Peter looked up at Amanda.

“Suck my hairy Alpha balls, you omega bitch.”
