Chapter 64

Morning came quicker than expected with Beth waking up to find Asher still holding on to her just as tightly. She tried to untangle from him but he only snuggled even closer with incoherent words erupting his parted mouth.

She let out a deep sigh and tried again but he held on even tighter.

“Come on, Asher. I need to pee right now” She grumbled and heard him g***n but still did not let go.

“Let me go right now or I’m going to freaking pee on the bed” She threatened before letting go and even jumped off the bed she quickly struggled back on her feet.

“You really have no chills” He murmured.

Beth snorted at him and kept looking for her slippers. She sighed in relief when she finally found it and slipped her feet into it.

“Hold on” Asher called at her, halting her as well.

Asher stride over to where she stood with furrowed brow before sweeping her into his arms and began matching towards the bathroom.

Instead of protesting, she clung onto his chest with another sigh. Her bladder was under pressure and Asher was doing her a favor by getting her to the bathroom even quicker.

He pushed the door open and walked in with her still cradle in his arms before placing her gently against the floor and then turned to walk out.

She finished her business in there and decided to brush and shower as well.

Once she was done. She realizes she has no clean clothes to change into. The realization of needing Asher to do it seem like an annoying one to her, causing a growl to erupt her mouth.

“Hey, Are you okay in there?” She heard Asher’s voice calling from behind the door.

Apparently, Asher was still waiting for her by the door.

“Yea, I’m fine. I just need help” She called back and the door was pushed open with Asher striding in to stand before her.

Beth was taken unawares as she scramble for towel to cover herself up before yelling at Asher.

“What is wrong with you?”

Asher arched a confused brow, “What is wrong with me?”

“You can’t just barge in like that” She queried.

“You said you needed help and I just thought it was an emergency. I’m sorry”

Beth let out a frustrated growl and Asher turned to walk away.

“Where are you going?”

Asher came to a stop at the door before turning around to face her, clearly more annoyed than just confused now.

“I thought you didn’t want me here with you so I’m leaving you to your business”

“Well, since you are already here, just take me with you” Beth with outstretched arms and Asher couldn’t help but roll his eyes at her.

“You are really frustrating you know that?” He complained as he carefully carried her into his arms.

“Not as annoying as you are, Alpha”

He carried her back to the bedroom before placing her on the bed just as gently before taking a step back.

“Anything else I can do to help?”

“I need clothes”

“okay” he replied and moved towards the wardrobe to grab some for her.

Beth look through it before staring back at him in the face.

“I need some underwear too”

Asher hurried back and got a lacy one and handed it to her but she lifted her legs to him instead.

“I can’t reach my feet to do it. Please help me”

Asher looked resistant as he stared at her smooth legs still glistering with water.

“I can’t” He said with clenched jaw and Beth nodded.

“You can’t or you won’t”

“You don’t understand” His voice sounded strained as he ran his fingers through his hair and leaving it in a hot mess.

When he looked at her again, his eyes were pretty dilated and Beth could tell he was having a hard time controlling the beast within him. It’s obvious it wanted something but Asher was trying to stay in control by putting a tight leash on it.

“Give me the underwear. I will do it myself”

Asher glance at the black lacy piece of cloth still grasped in his palm and back at her with a deep sigh.

“I will do it” He said and quickly dropped to his knees before her and took hold of her leg and slipped it through before doing same to the other leg, before pulling it up to her knee and paused.

“You are not helping me right no” He grumbled before looking at her.

“I can smell your arousal, Elizabeth and I can’t begin to explain to you what will happen if you keep feeling like that. I might be tempted to think you want me to make love to you”

Beth could barely breathe at this point. Asher was right, she was aroused. Her core was drenched already. She can’t even tell her body to not want him because it has a mind of its own and it want what it want.

“I want you to” She said in a small voice and his eyes narrowed.

“You don’t want that, Elizabeth. You hate me” He said and she nodded.

“I know but my body wants you right now, Asher”

Another second went by before she was being lowered against the bed and her towel let loose, leaving her exposed to his hungry eyes before he reached back down and claimed her lips in a k**s once more.

The k**s went on for another minute before Asher stopped abruptly and pushed away from her and back on his feet and Beth couldn’t help but whimper at the lost of contact.

“Are you sure you want this?” He asked one last time with his last bit of restraint and she agreed with a nod before he picked her off the bed and placed on his laps, with Elizabeth straddling him instead.

The proximity was so close she didn’t know how to breathe or where to look, instead she had both arms wrapped around his neck as she clings onto him, with her baby bump totally in the way.

“Yes” She said before adding, “Maybe some warm milk and strawberry would be fine”

“Okay. I will ask Izzy to bring you some while I go ahead and shower”

Before he could walk over to the bathroom, there was a knock at the door.

“Who is there?”

“Greetings, Alpha” A male guard had responded.

“What do you want?”

“The council of Elders are requesting a meeting with you and the hunter’s daughter right now”
