Asher POV.

“Asher, we need to talk”

Asher by passed him further and grab a shirt before turning to face his Beta.

“Not now, Alex. We can talk later”

Alex was about to insist but the look on Asher’s face told him not to even think about it, forcing him to swallow back with a nod.

“I will see you later then”

Alex walked out the door with a quick glance at Beth while Asher continued to get dress. Once he was done. He walk passed her and out the door, leaving her there to stare right after him.

Asher hated to be question and he doesn’t know what gave her the dumb idea to doubt his ability to fish out the traitors in his pack like that. If only she knew the state he had left the men who wanted her death in.

Their death didn’t bother him. He was more concerned with the fact that they refused to let out the name of their leader and as long as he remind hidden among them, he knew they will be more attempt on her life.

Protecting her won’t be a problem. He can lock her up if he must but getting them both to see eye to eye is the problem. To think that she get along just fine with Alex makes him even more upset.

Asher was furious, more at himself than her and he knew the best way was to get this shit together and that means, keeping some distance away from her until they both have something reasonable to say to one another.

Asher continued to hurry down the long corridor, grumbling under his breath and soon, he found himself in front of Kara’s bed chamber. How he got there, that was something he didn’t know. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts as if it would do him some good.

His wolf needed a quick release hence his reason for being there. He was about to reach out a hand and knock when the door was flung open. Kara stood there, practically wearing next to nothing with a knowing look on her face.

Her see through gown covered little to nothing to the eyes and he could see that she is bare underneath. Asher could see the pink bud of her nipple causing his inner beast a great deal of job not to mention her dripping arousal.

If he didn’t know better, he would have thought she was expecting him but knowing Kara, she is always in heat for mating. She was perfect for everything he has in mind for tonight.

Kara on the other hand had a little smile of triumph in her lips seeing the Alpha in her door step. She knew it would be only a matter of time before he come running to have a taste of her juice once again and she would gladly give it to him.

“Alpha”, Her smile was coy and seductive as she reach out a hand to his arm and began to caress the tension around there before whispering into his ears,

“I know why you are here, Alpha. Let me take care of you like I have always done”

Asher let out a low growl, one she could only term as acceptance prompting her hands to continue in it quest as it continued to trail all his body and down lower until she found whatever she was looking for, hard and large through his pant just like she expected.

“let go inside shall we?” She whispered once again.

“Okay” Asher said weakly, before he practically pushed her inside her chambers and the door was shut firmly.

Once they were inside, Asher wasted no time as he quickly grab her and pushed her back on the bed before discharging his pant and revealing himself to her piercing eyes that seem to widen even more at the glorious sight before her.

“Come on, Kara. Don’t waste my time” He barked and she sprung into action as she crawl towards him before positioning herself in front of him.

Asher took a handful of her hair as he quickly guided her mouth back to his c**k. He let out a throat growl as her warm wet mouth took him all in and he almost felt himself at the back of her throat before she start to move.

She pushed herself into a seating position with a raised brow. “Are you afraid, the hunter’s daughter night find out?”

Asher moved just as quickly with supernatural speed and grabbed her by the arm before pinning her against the bed. “I’m not afraid of anyone. Just f*****g keep your mouth shut” He snarled at her and she nodded.

“Okay. I’m sorry”

Asher pushed away from her before grabbing his shirt and start to pull it on. Once he was done, he moved towards the door and then paused midway and turned to face her.

“Her name is Beth not the hunter’s daughter” He called back at her before slipping out the door and leaving her to stare right after him in shock.
