Taken By The Demon Alpha -
Chapter 114
Izzy’s face fell immediately.
“Why? Are you still scared? But, Asher is back to protect you and also the baby.”
“It’s none of that. Asher has agreed to let me go home”
“ Oh?”
Izzy said sadly before nodding her head slightly.
“ I guess that’s fine right? I mean, if it’s okay with Alpha Asher then I guess it’s fine”
“Please don’t go, I will miss you badly.” Izzy pleaded and Beth sighed.
“I have to Izzy, I spent all my life in the city, I am used to city life already so I think I should go back.” Izzy said once more, trying to sound okay even though she was failing.
“But you have been with us for almost a year now. And it’s your choice and I wish you good luck.”
“Thanks Izzy, I will miss you the most.” Beth said and Izzy hugged her.
“I have something to tell you.” Beth said and breaking the hug and Izzy wondered what she wanted to tell her.
“What?”
“It’s about Alex, I would feel guilty if I don’t tell you.”
Izzy became curious at the mention of Alex, she thought it must be interesting.
Beth sighed and spoke up.
“Alex had challenged Asher for a fight all because of me.” Beth said and Izzy gasped shockingly.
“Alex did what?” Izzy asked to be sure.
“That’s one of the reasons why I just had to leave. I don’t want to cause a rift between the both of them.”
“Alex is surely going crazy, how could he take such risk? Asher is surely going to kill him if he should fight with him. And even if he looses, he still stand the risk of getting kicked out of this pack.”
“What? Asher didn’t explain it to me like that and it’s crazy that I can’t get neither of them to back off from the stupid fight”
“Isn’t it clear to you? If Alex wins the fight, I will become his. He is doing it to set me free from Asher but Asher already gave me a choice of staying back or leaving.” Beth explained and Izzy sighed.
“What do you think we can do about this?” Izzy asked, her main concern is the safety of the man her heart beats for.
“I don’t know but I think I have a weird solution.”
“Really? What’s the solution?”
“I am thinking you should make Alex fall in love with you before the challenge would be announced. It would make him back out and then, the issue would be resolved.”
Izzy laughed loudly at Beth’s statement.
“How can you be so dumb? Do you think it would be easy or even possible to make Alex fall in love with me? A guy that’s crazily in love with you to the extent of challenging his Alpha for a fight? This is totally insane, I wished I could be loved like that.” Izzy said sadly.
“I didn’t tell you this to make you feel bad, I just need your help.”
“Come off it Beth, it’s never going to work”
“Then what do we do? I don’t want this fight to take place.” Beth said worriedly.
“I think there’s nothing that can be done than to watch with our fingers crossed even though I doubt it’s going to turn out well for Alex”

Asher walked to the prison where the arrested elders were being confined, He leaned on the iron bars in front of the room and smirked at the elders.
“Good to see you again my elders, how are you all coping With your new hell?” Asher asked mockingly but all kept mute bowing their heads in shame.
“Cat got all your tongues? I mea, look where your wickedness brought you all. I should have slayed you the way I did to your leader but I had a second thought about it and decided to give you all a second chance.” Asher announced and the elder’s once lost hope was restored.
Some whispered words of appreciation while some were still angry at Asher for locking them all in the prison and under such harsh conditions.
“You all will get released.” Asher informed and the elders murmured happily.
“But on one condition.” Asher added and they all turned their attention to him praying he doesn’t give them unfavorable and impossible conditions.
Asher delayed a bit before speaking up.
“Firstly, you will all promise never to betray me and if you do, you will all face the same fate elder Marcus did including your families and friends.”
The elders gulped so hard and waited for the second condition.
“Secondly, you will have to apologize to Elizabeth for treating her badly and for attempting to kill her at several occasions.”
“The demon hunter’s daughter?” Some chorused and Asher nodded positively.
“That same one. Elizabeth is a good woman and should not be made to pay for her father’s crime”
It was obvious that the elders didn’t like the conditions given to them, they hated the way Asher dominated over them and even treated them like trash but none was willing to speak up against him.
“It seems you’re all comfortable in this place than your places of residents. I will get back to you all when you’ve all decided to agree to my conditions. Good day elders!” Asher said and Walked out.
Asher went back to the room he shares with Elizabeth and found Izzy with her. Both ladies stopped talking as soon as they saw him.
Izzy stood immediately and bowed to Asher.
“How have you been Izzy?”
“I have been good, Alpha.”
“I never had the chance to appreciate you for taking care of Beth and my son during my absence. Thank you!”
“It’s nothing Alpha, that’s one of my duty. I beg to take my leave,” Izzy said and immediately left.
Asher went to check on his son and smiled satisfactorily when he saw him sleeping.
“Sleepy head, have sweet dreams.” Asher said and caressed his cheek.
“I thought you said you are going to handle somethings and would be busy throughout the day.” Beth said staring back at Asher.
“I will attend to them later, I just came back to make sure you two are not missing me too much” He said with a mischievous grin before leaning in to place a quick k**s against her hair.
She let out a giggle at the gesture and Asher settled down beside her with a sigh.
Beth never thought that Asher could ever be this sweet and thoughtful and heck, she could really get used to this side of him as it was better than demon Asher. She likes this new Alpha and hopes he doesn’t changes back.
“I went to visit the elders not quite long. Seem they are still in love with their cell and wishes to stay some more.” Asher said breaking the long silence.
“How so?”
Asher let out a shrug.
“ They deserve to riot in there to earn some knowledge as it seem it has really eluded them”
“I think you should let them go, Asher. They are too old to be locked up like that”
“Nobody is above being locked up in the cell especially when they commit grave offences.” Asher replied simply.
Beth rolled her eyes, he is always defending himself and his ways.
“Okay fine, when do you intend to get them released?”
“I gave them conditions but it seems they are not ready to agree to my conditions. So therefore, they will remain there.”
“Conditions? What kind of condition?” Beth asked.
“I asked them to promise not to ever betray me because if they do, they will face the same fate with elder Marcus and all their family members.”
“That sounds more like a threat.” Beth said .
“And they must all apologize to you for treating you badly and trying to kill you at several occasions.”
” I don’t need their apologies because I have forgiven them a long time ago. So just eliminate that condition.”
“Well, it’s not up to you to decide is it?” Asher replied stubbornly
“Okay, fine!”
