Chapter 1307 Athena Was Gone

Athena almost instantly captured the danger and something amiss.

Just as she was about to get up to leave, Annie acted first.

A sudden pain shot through her lower back.

And her vision went black as she lost consciousness.

Annie held a taser in her hand, gazing at Athena, unconscious on the ground. A nearly manic smile slowly spread across her face.

"Heather, the revenge is about to begin officially. Are you watching? As your sister, I am going to avenge you!" Annie thought. Fifteen minutes later.

The security guard outside the door checked the time and asked his colleague, "Don't you think Mrs. Crawford has been in there for too long?"

Another security guard also glanced at the time. "Miss Annie Ross was so frightened. How could things be settled in just a few words of consolation?" "You're right."

Another ten minutes passed.

They received a call from Byron.

"Mr. Crawford!"

"Where's Athena?" Byron's voice sounded extremely grave on the other end.

"Mrs. Crawford is in Miss Annie Ross' room," the security guard replied.

The security guards knocked on the door immediately.

"Mr. Crawford... Mrs. Crawford is gone, and so is Miss Annie Ross! We were guarding right outside the door. There's no way they could have vanished into thin air!" Byron's head felt like it had exploded.

It was as if his blood had reversed its flow throughout his body.

He had just tried to call Athena to ask her what she wanted to eat, and he would buy them back home.

However, he couldn't get through to her.

He knew she had gone to check on Annie since she had been poisoned.

Why would the phone network fail in the hotel?

Recently, Byron had been feeling constantly uneasy.

So he immediately called the security personnel responsible for guarding Annie.

"Corrupted? When did they become corrupted? Why are you so useless? You were supposed to watch over Annie, and you don't even know the situation of the surveillance cameras, huh?" Byron burst into anger.

"We didn't... The surveillance footage here was overwritten by that from a different time period. So, when we checked the footage, the pictures were normal, but what we saw wasn't the current scene." The head of security felt like he was about to suffocate.
