Having bought a bunch of daily necessities from the supermarket, Felix began setting up his new villa. It wasn't too much trouble since he was living alone.

He had also bought basic condiments and fresh ingredients, planning to cook something at noon.

Just then, Kane showed up.

"Please take a seat. I'll prepare the meal," Felix said.

Tears of excitement brimmed in Kane's eyes, and he felt that even if he were to die right then, he would have no regrets. He never thought he'd get to eat Felix's homemade dishes. Even the deputy leader of Dragon Alliance probably didn't get that kind of treatment. In fact, Felix had him come over because he needed to report something.

When the food was served, Felix smiled and said, "Have a taste."

His cooking skills were no joke. They were honed by the constant pressure from his fellow apprentices during his time at Eden Village.

"It's delicious! My lord, the food is superb," Kane remarked.

Felix started eating, then said, "You can just call me Felix from now on. By the way, what did you need to tell me?"

After a moment of hesitation, Kane said, "Here's the situation, my lord. I mean, Felix. You disappeared for about ten years, and Dragon Alliance is no longer a united front.

"Those who felt capable and skilled started to set up their own factions. Even though they haven't withdrawn from the alliance, it's now quite divided."

Such a situation was to be expected. Felix knew Eloise well. When she was interested in something, she threw herself into it entirely. Once her interest waned, she wouldn't care at all.

In other words, even if Dragon Alliance were to completely dissolve, Eloise wouldn't bother with it.

"I'm busy at the moment. Let's discuss it later," Felix said.

Eloise could afford to be indifferent, but Felix could not. After all, since Eloise gave him the Dragon Ring, it was equivalent to passing on Dragon Alliance to him. Consequently, he had to take responsibility. He had to ensure that the next time they met, he'd return a fully intact Dragon Alliance to her.

Kane naturally didn't dare say more. He only shared what he knew. It wasn't his place to judge or decide Felix's actions.

After Kane left, Felix received a call from Warren.

"Uncle Warren," he greeted. He was about to inform Warren that he intended to move out.

Warren went straight to the point. "Felix, there's a grand event tonight organized by the Kinsley family, the wealthiest in town. I managed to get an invitation. You should come along, too.

"To be honest, I forgot about it because of what happened last night. It was Sasha who reminded me. It seems like you two are getting along quite well."

Felix was at a loss for words as he listened to Warren laugh. He figured that if Sasha was so eager to have him attend, she must have something up her sleeve.

An hour later, to Felix's surprise, not only did Warren arrive, but Nattie and Sasha came along as well.

"Haha! See that? I've always said Felix is a capable guy. In no time, he has secured a villa worth tens of millions of dollars. Come on. Let's take a look around," Warren said.

Nattie and Sasha couldn't quite bring themselves to smile.

Sasha, in particular, slowed her pace and pulled Felix aside. "Felix, you're really something. You say one thing to my face and do another behind my back. You said that porcelain teapot was a gift to my dad, and now, you've taken it back? You sure are shameless."
