“He gave me one week to prove myself innocent,

IF I CAN’T PROVE THAT, HE WILL DO SOMETHING WORSE TO ME THAN DEATH.”

Alpha Rick did not say anything and just stared at her calmly.

“What?” Alina asked.

Alpha Rick shook his head. “I am just thinking about how you will do everything in one week.”

Alina looked down. “I don’t know Rick. I hope Moon Goddess will help me.”

“I have a plan.” He said.

“What?”

“Let’s kill that Crystal woman. She is the main culprit here.”

“No Rick. We can’t kill her.”

“Why? Are you doubting on my ability? Do you think I can not kill a witch?”

“I have never said that.”

“Then?”

“If you kill her, the blame for killing someone would not be removed. I want to remove the blame and live my life free, Rick.”

Alpha Rick nodded at her. “Hope everything will be fine. I am always with you. Let me think something about it.”

He said and started the car again. They went to the village side.

Alpha Rick knew she came here to meet his Royal Witch. She needed her now.

Alina told him to go but Alpha Rick said he would like to talk with the royal Witch.

Alpha Rick knocked on the door of the old house. The door opened.

The middle aged woman looked in shock. She directly bowed to him.

“Alpha!”

“Melissa, how are you?” He asked.

Alina looked at Alpha Rick. He was talking coldly with her.

“Alpha, I am totally fine. Do you need something? You should have called me Alpha. I would come to the pack house for you.”

Alpha Rick shook his head and entered her house. Melissa looked that Alina also came there. So she thought Alina complained to Alpha Rick about something.

Alina smiled at her and said, “Don’t worry. He came here to meet you.”

Melissa’s eyes widened. “Meet me?”

Alina nodded and went inside too.

Melissa closed the door and came to Alpha Rick and Alina.

“Sit down, Melissa.” Alpha Rick told her.

Three of them sat down on a couch.

“How do you come here, Alpha?”

“I am giving you one week, Melissa.”? Rick said.

Alina turned to him. ‘What is he saying?’

“One week for what Alpha?” Melissa asked nervously.

“One week for preparing her as a Witch.”

Alina’s eyes widened. “What are you saying, Rick?”

Melissa was afraid that Alina called Alpha by his name. It was kind of disrespectful. But she thought Alina was very close to Alpha. After all, she would be the Luna very soon.

“Relax and let me finish.” He said and looked at Melissa.

“You are my royal witch. A very high ranked witch. I want you to help her. I know you gave her powers and made her almost a powerful witch.”

“Alpha, she was not born to be a witch. She needed help and I am helping her. She can not be a witch. But yeah it’s true that because of learning spells and her potential, she gets some power now.”

“I don’t want to listen to all of this. I want you to give her your powers.”

“RICK!” Alina shouted at him. How could anyone give anyone’s powers? It was such a disrespectful thing, how could he even say that?

Alpha Rick totally ignored her and said,

“I want you to give some power to her for a few days just like how the Lycan Territory’s royal witch got from her Aunt Darcy.”

Alina was shocked. He was right. How could she forget that? Crystal told her that her Aunt gave her powers and helped her to do all the things.

Melissa was only listening to Alpha Rick. After a moment she replied,

“I am not powerful like them, Alpha. You know that the former royal witch was one of the highest ranks in our witch history. She had some private issues so she stopped witch crafting then she gave all of her power to her daughter. So her daughter is now more powerful than any other witch in any territory.”

Alpha Rick stood up. “I am not here to listen to any negative answer. If you are thinking yourself weak then I will manage a witch for my pack.”

He looked at Alina and said, “Let’s go.”

Melissa stopped them. “Please Alpha, don’t get angry. Please listen to me.”

“Will you help her or not?”

“I will.”

“Rick, she is already helping us.”

“But you don’t have time to run the race slowly. You have to work out fast.”

Alina nodded at him. For that, she would have to tell everything to the Royal Witch Melissa. Otherwise, she could not help her properly.

“I will. Don’t worry. If you have work, you can go now. I will go home by myself.” Alina said.

Alpha Rick looked at her nervous face and patted her head. “Everything will be okay. Just keep calm and do what she says.” He said while gesturing to Melissa.

Alina nodded at him.

“Call me when you are done. I will pick you up.”

“Okay.”

Then Alpha Rick left the house of the Witch.

Melissa sighed and sat on the couch again. She looked at Alina and said, “Come and tell me what happened suddenly.”

Alina sat beside her and told her everything that she needed to know. She told Melissa her best friend’s truth.

Melissa looked shocked at first but then she said she was not surprised by the scheming.

When Alina asked her why she replied that she knew Chloe’s daughter would be like Chloe. She made her daughter just like her.

Melissa asked, “Whom do you want to prove? Queen mother Daisy?”

Alina shook her head. Daisy was not the only one whom she wanted to prove. She wanted to prove King Aaron who wanted to kill her and called her a murderer.

‘It’s King Aaron.”

Melissa smiled at Alina. She was asking her an impossible thing.

“You can not spell on him to know the truth.”

“Why???”

“BECAUSE HE IS THE MOST POWERFUL LYCAN. AND NO SPELL CAN AFFECT HIS BODY AND HIS MIND.”
