“All thanks to your soon to be Luna. She arranged the room so well for me and my future Queen. We slept really well.”

Alina did not look up at him. She replied, “Well that’s a relief that our guests are liking our arrangements.”

Alpha Rick smirked at Alina. She knew how to mock back. He was liking it. He did not know that Aaron went to her room last night.

He was taking a risk because of her. Making someone have the blame for killing the e former Lycan king was not easy.

But he knew she didn’t do it. She was not like that woman. However, he understood King Aaron. If his own mother told him that she saw her killing his father, of course he would believe in his own mother first.

Alina glanced at Alpha Rick. Rick nodded at her and said that she said well. Alina smiled at him.

Everyone watched the scene. Rick’s parents were also surprised when they saw their son gesturing with eyes to Alina. They heard their son was a playboy but he had never done anything in front of them. They could not get any report in the pack. What he did was in his university, not there.

Aaron did not like it when Alina mocked back. He was not liking all the sweet interactions Alina and Rick were having right now.

On the other side, Selena glared at Alina. Who was this woman? Just a normal Omega grabbed a true b***d’s heart? How? He was her mate. So he should chase her. He should come after her. Why was he looking so happy with this woman? He said to her last night that he was very happy with her. But how? She was a powerless woman.

Selena felt embarrassed. Because he told her Alina was different from other women. He was behaving so softly with Alina. Meanwhile, she was with King Aaron who always behaved coldly with her. He did not care for her. He even told her that she was just a showpiece for him so she should not hope for anything more except the position of the Queen.

However, that position was very important for every woman. Being the Lycan Queen was something every she-wolf dreamt of. But only the lucky one could get the chance.

She turned her head to king Aaron. He began to eat. When everyone saw he had already started to eat, they also began to eat.

Beta Lucas peeked at Alina and then Aaron. He now knew the truth. It was not Alina who killed King Atlas, it was Crystal. He guessed that before Alina told the truth. He thought Crystal was somehow related to all of this. But he had not ever imagined that she trapped Queen Mother’s mind with spells.

He was eager to tell Aaron about that. But he was afraid that Aaron would not believe him. Aaron only believed in evidence. Usually, he did not even think of evidence and directly kill the culprit.

But for Alina, he gave her time. He gave her chances to prove herself that night. But all the evidence went against Alina.

He knew how much Aaron loved Alina at that time. He even prepared the Crown ceremony without telling her. He wanted to give her a surprise by making her his Queen directly.

It was all because of that Crystal. That bad witch played with everyone. Lucas could not imagine what would happen with Crystal when Aaron got to know the truth.

Alina cleared her throat. Everyone looked at her.

“What happened?” Alpha Rick asked her.

“I want to go to the village side. Can I?” Alina asked in a lower voice.

But Aaron was the Lycan King. He heard everything. He was more powerful than other Lycans.

Alpha Rick looked at everyone and then turned to Beta Max.

“Are you free today?”

Beta Max shook his head. “I have to go out of the pack today.”

Alina shook her head and touched Rick’s hand which was resting on the table.

Aaron’s grip on the fork was tightened. He glared at Alina’s hand.

“Rick. I am okay. I can go by myself.”

Alpha Rick shook his head. “I will drop you.”

“Where are you going, Alina?” Luna Julie asked.

“I am going to meet my friend.” She said and smiled awkwardly.

Beta Lucas and Gamma George knew where she was going. Beta Max also knew about that.

“I see. Go and come back safely. An Omega should not stay outside late.”

Alina nodded at her. She was right though. She was an Omega and male wolves were ready to jump on Omegas anytime.

Alina finished eating and went out with Alpha? Rick without looking back.

They got in Alpha Rick’s car. Alpha Rick started the car and asked her,

“Are you okay?”

” I am okay but I only have six days.”

Alpha Rick frowned. Six days? For what?”

“What do you think is why King Aaron is so calm right now?”

Alpha Rick thought about it for some time and replied,

“Why? Because you are in my pack?”

Alina shook her head. “No, Rick.”

“Then why is he so calm?”

Alina sighed and replied,

“He came to my room last night.”

Alpha Rick pressed the brake immediately.

Alina almost got hurt in her head with the sudden brake.

So many thoughts came to Alpha Rick’s mind. The first thing that came to his mind was ‘Did he hurt her?’

He turned to Alina and stared at her.

Alina looked at him in horror. “Why did you stop the car?”

“Alina, did he hurt you?”

Alina’s face went back to normal. She remembered how he tried to strangle her. But he did not want to say that to Alpha Rick.

“No, he did not. I am okay.”

Alpha Rick was confused. If he did not hurt her then why did he go to her room?

“Why did he say that?”

Alina took a deep breath and replied,

“He gave me one week to prove myself innocent,

IF I CAN’T PROVE THAT, HE WILL DO SOMETHING WORSE TO ME THAN DEATH.”
