Alina stared at the door. Alpha Rick just left a few minutes ago. Alina could not believe that Alpha Rick wanted to connect with her.

She all the time thought that he was a playboy who only played with hearts.

But after coming here she got to know him. He was not a bad person. He was a good man. He knew his responsibilities well after he took over the pack. Though his father forced him, he had the leadership quality. He would become the best Alpha king anytime soon.

Alina spent all the day in her room. Alpha Rick told her maid to take meals to her room if she did not want to come out.

It was late at night.

Alina wore a nightwear and got in the bed. It was late so she wanted to sleep. But the cold wind was blowing so she felt cold.

She got down from her bed and went to the window. She was about to shut the window but her eyes fell on the outside. She looked at the sky.

The moon was looking so beautiful. Her room’s light was off so half of her room was full of moonlight.

She stood there and closed her eyes. Her mind was blank. She promised herself she would not cry again, she would become a strong woman, a fearless woman.

All of a sudden, her room’s door burst open. She thought it was Rick. Because he was the one who never knocked on the door.

“Rick!” She said. Her eyes were still closed.

Alina heard the sound of shutting the door. Her eyebrows were wrinkled.

Then she smelled the scent which was deadly for her. The scent which was chasing her for a long time and wanted to push her to the mouth of death.

She immediately opened her eyes. She was about to turn but the man grabbed her waist and her neck tightly from behind her.

Alina gasped. She could feel his hard chest against her back.

She almost called him ‘Mate’ but she restrained herself from that. It was her habit to talk with him softly. She loved this man but what had he done? Gave her a death sentence?

She felt the grip on her neck was tightened.

“Rick? Huh?”

She felt his warm breath on her ear. So closed her eyes again.

“The more I think about you the more you prove me wrong. You are a seamless woman. At first, you wanted to be my Queen, and for that, you killed my father.

When you saw that you got caught and your plan went flop, you ran away from your punishment and came to this pack.

Your lover’s pack. Didn’t you know each other from the start? That was why you both told me that it was a long story, Right?

Now you came here and want to become his Luna? Nice. What an idea! You are more clever than what I have thought about you. You never disappointed me in this matter, Darling.”

Aaron said. He was angry when saw her here because he thought she died in the fire. He felt somehow relaxed that time but when he saw her with Alpha Rick then his mind went crazy.

The way Alina called Rick’s name when he came to the room was as if he came here a lot of times, even the late at night.

He thought about how close they were. Did they spend the night together? Do they always stay so close? That was what was in his mind.

His group tightened on her neck and her waist. He captured her body totally. Even if she tried she could not get out of her hold.

Alina tried to push him. She patted his hand which was holding her neck.

“S-Stop!” She said but Aaron did not let go of her neck.

“Why? When my father told you to stop, did you listen to him?”

Alina shook her head. She felt it was difficult to take a breath.

“I-I didn’t kill him.”

“Oh really? Then who killed him huh? I am tired of your nonsense. I think it’s time for you to die.”

He tightened his grip more. She patted his hand again. “L-Leave.”

All the color of your face drained out. Her face almost turned blue.

He then let go of her neck. Alina immediately coughed. She coughed hard. She was feeling like someone caught her breath and suddenly opened the door of the cage.

She instantly went to the bed side table and poured a glass of water with her shaking hand.

She chugged down the whole glass and took a deep breath.

Aaron leaned against the wall and stared at her.

Alina closed his eyes and said, “Why did you come here? It is my bedroom. You can not just come to anyone’s room like that.”

Aaron frowned at her. “Who helped you to run away? Tell me the truth.”

Alina smiled at him coldly. “What truth? When I told you the truth in front of your father’s body did you believe me?”

King Aaron stared at her cold eyes. She killed his father and was now talking back to him.

“If I believe you, would my father be back? No, he would not. Because you were the killer of my father. You are lucky that I am not killing you right now. If you? were in my kingdom, I would kill you the moment I saw you.”

Alina looked at the man she fell in love with. She was a stupid girl who thought he would accept her, looked like he was just waiting for any mistake of her and then he would kill her.

Alina shook her head. “Please leave now. My Alpha will come anytime soon and he will misunderstand us. I don’t want him to think anything wrong.”

Aaron tightened his jaw. “What did you just say?”

Alina replied,

“I will not explain anything to you.

BUT ONE DAY I WILL PROVE TO YOU THAT I AM NOT THE KILLER OF YOUR FATHER.”
