Alpha Rick stared at her for some time and then nodded at her.

“You are right. You don’t have to leave him, just be with him and tell him not to come in front of my future Luna.”

Selena was shocked. She narrowed her eyes. She was a Lycan. She felt insulted when her mate told her that he was okay with her living with another man because he was happy with his chosen Luna who was an Omega. They were all werewolves. They could smell each other and could tell anyone’s rank by their scent.

When Selena came here she understood that Alina was an Omega. She felt too proud at that time because she was with King Aaron, not her mate who was an Alpha and not a Lycan like them.

However, now she got mad at that woman who was with her mate. She did not know why but Selena now wanted both men’s attention. She wanted that her mate would also chase her.

“She is an Omega. And didn’t hear that? She is a criminal who ran away from our realm. Who knows what she did, she is lucky that King Aaron is not killing her-“

Selena could not complete her because before that Alpha Rick grabbed her neck and choked her.

“Don’t you dare say anything bad about her. Maybe you are new here and don’t know about my reputation here. I am very calm and chill when people talk with me calmly but when they try to make me angry I am the worst.”

Selena tried to push his hand but he did not move a bit. She thought he was just an Alpha and she was a Lycan so she would be more powerful than him but she was so wrong. She did not know that he was a true b***d. And a true b***d was a very rare creature.

He might not be as powerful as King Aaron but he could give him a good fight.

Alpha Rick smirked at her. “What did you think? I am a normal Alpha who will get affected by your sudden push. No, honey. I am the true b***d alpha you heard in your realm.”

Selena’s eyes widened. “T-True b***d?”

“What? Now you start to feel scared of me?”

Selena immediately shook her head. “Why would I? If you do something to me, My king will kill you.”

Alpha Rick pressed hard on her neck and replied,

“And if he does something to Alina, I will kill you.”

Selena looked at him with her wide eyes.

Alpha Rick let go of her neck and glared at her.

“Stay away from her and tell your chosen mate to stay away from her too. Otherwise, your life would be in danger.”

He said and turned around to leave but Selena stopped him.

“Why do you care about her so much?” She asked.

Alpha Rick replied,

“Because she is not a woman like you, she is different.” Then he walked out of the hall way.

Alina was in her room when her door opened.

She saw Alpha Rick entering her room.

“Rick.”

Alpha Rick walked to her and did what made Alina shocked. He hugged her.

Alina’s eyes widened. “What happened?” She asked confusingly.

“He can not do anything to you. So don’t worry, okay?”

Alina was stunned by his words. She hugged him back and nodded her head.

She took a deep breath. She did not feel uncomfortable because this man saved his life. He let her learn those things which she could not learn anywhere. He permited her to learn witchcraft which no one would allow anywhere.

“Thank you, Rick.”

“For what?”

“For being a good friend of mine. Thank you for sheltering me and saving my life. The more I thank you, I feel like it’s nothing. I can’t repay you ever for what you did to me. Thank you for believing me.”

Alpha Rick moved away from her and patted her head. “Everything will be okay.”

Alina nodded at him. But then something came up in her mind.

“Rick!”

“Yeah?”

“What about Selena? She is your mate. You need her. You should accept her. I am totally okay if you accept her as your Luna and mate. I can live anywhere, I am your friend, you are sheltering me in your pack, that is enough. Once I get the chance to prove myself, I will go abroad.”

Alpha Rick frowned at her. “What are you saying? Do you think I will accept that woman over you? Impossible!”

“Don’t say this type of thing, Rick.”

“Didn’t you see how she was with King Aaron?”

Alina remembered how Aaron grabbed her waist, she guessed that they were very close to each other.

“Rick, he does not know that she is your mate. If you tell him that Selena is your mate, he would let her go. Why would you live a mateless life when you already have a mate.”

“I will not live a mateless life, Alina. You are my chosen mate.”

“But I told you I can not-“

“I know you can not live with me like a normal couple, but that is okay. It was my condition that I could go anywhere and do anything with anyone. So it is a win-win situation for both of us.”

Alina shook her head. “You can not understand, Rick. Rejection is not a solution.”

“If I tell him that Selena is my mate then he will kill her, do you want that?” Alpha Rick said to convince her.

Alina shook her head. “He will try to kill me then. He will not kill her.”

“If he tries to kill you, he has to kill me first.”

Alina looked at him in shock.

“Don’t say that, Rick.”

Alpha Rick looked at her and shook his head.

“When I met you for the second time at the party. My eyes were only on you. I knew that he had some connection with you.

BUT I WANTED TO CONNECT WITH YOU TOO.”
