“A-ALINA!!!”

Beta Lucas was speechless. Gamma George was also shocked. They could not believe their eyes.

Alina bit her lips and tried to control her tears. She thought she could restrain herself from anything but no, she could not.

Alpha Rick looked at everyone who was watching everything.

“Everyone gave us some time. Alina and I want to talk with Beta Lucas and Gamma George.”

Beta Lucas nodded at Alpha Rick.

Alpha Rick suggested Lucas and George to come with him. Alina also followed them slowly.

They went to Alina’s room and closed the door.

Beta Lucas was still in shock. “You are okay?”

Alina looked at him and nodded at him. “Yes, all thanks to you.”

Beta Lucas was the one who saved her life. “I could not believe it when you helped me, Lucas. you are the one who saved my life and gave me a new life. I could not thank you at that time. No matter how many times I thanked you, it is not enough.” Alina said while joining her hands in front of Beta Lucas.

Lucas shook his head and hugged her. Alina hugged him as if she was a kid.

Alpha Rick was watching them. He had never seen her this emotional look until last night when he told her everything about her.

Alina moved from the hug and looked at Beta Lucas.

“I could not tell you about the real culprit.”

Gamma George frowned at her, “Do you know who is behind all of that?”

Alina turned to Gamma George. Beta Lucas patted her head and said, “Don’t worry. He knew everything. He saw me when I helped you to run away.”

Gamma George nodded at her. “We know you could not do that. In fact, Aaron also felt that. But what would everyone do when the Queen mother herself told us that she saw you with her own eyes?”

Alina felt hatred for King Aaron when she heard his name.

“I don’t care about him anymore.” She told them coldly.

“What?? Crystal Killed King Atlas???” Gamma George was shocked and Beta Lucas was too. They could not help but react after hearing that.

Alina was listening to their conversation and looked at Alpha Rick. He was staring at her. He nodded at her and she nodded at him back.

Beta Lucas was busy with talking with Gamma George but their gestures didn’t go unnoticed by him.

“Can you tell me what happened after I ran away from there? I want to know about my parents. Are they okay there?”

Beta Lucas sat on the couch and others followed him. He nodded at Alina. “Your parents are totally okay, Alina. Aaron did not harm him.”

Alina sighed. Finally, she heard some good news.

“But…”

Alina saw how Beta Lucas stopped while talking.

“But what Lucas?”

“Everyone is thinking that you are dead, Alina.”

Alina’s eyes widened. “WHAT?”

“Yes, Alina. When you left from the back side I went back to the Dungeon.” Beta Lucas said.

“Then?”

“I took a woman from the morgue in the dungeon. Almost two or three rogues die a month in the dungeon. I took one of the women and put her in your dungeon. After that…”

Alina could not believe all of the things that happened after she ran away.

Alina looked down. She heard Alpha Rick.

“What about King Aaron? How did he react when he heard that?”

Alina looked up at Alpha Rick but he did not glance at him. He was curious to know about Aaron’s reaction.

“When he heard that he was indifferent. He behaved like he did not care. He asked who set the fire but I said about some system defect problems.

He did not come to see the dead body and told us to bury it.”

Hearing Gamma George Alina smiled coldly. She knew it, this man was not in love with her.

“You know him, Alina. He cared for you. He did not express it but deep down he also wanted to know the truth. He gave you a chance to prove yourself but fate played with you and your best friend’s conspiracy could not let him see your truth.”

Alina did not want to listen to all of this. She did not want to listen to any of them. She had no best friend any more. She did not love anyone anymore.

Alpha Rick stood up after hearing Beta Lucas. The way Beta Lucas said those things to Alina about King Aaron, it was kind of pushing her to Aaron again. But she was not in the Lycan territory anymore. He wanted her to become his Luna, his pack’s Luna. Now no one could stop him from making her his Luna.

“I am sorry for the interruption but don’t talk about other men in front of Alina anymore.”

Beta Lucas frowned at Alpha Rick. “Other men?”

He did not know the reason why Alina was here in the pack house.

Alpha Rick looked at Alina and replied to Beta Lucas,
