"I'll check who's outside. Just stay here." Anna gripped my hand tightly as she nervously.

I slowly walked towards the door. I feel the presence coming from outside.

I immediately opened the door and I was surprised to see Marcus outside with the others. "You're here, Drake," Yuri said.

I looked at Marcus's behavior but he was bent over and speechless.

"Some wanted to chase me earlier. Fortunately, I escaped."

"There's something you need to know Drake," Marcus said.

"What is that?"

"Mom is missing..."

"What? Why? How?"

"I know where he is located," replied an old man. I stared at him and examined his wholeness.

'He's Raso, mom's brother," Marcus explained.

"We need to be prepared because we know the strengths of those we encounter are unusual."

"Drake..." We all looked at the door when Anna suddenly came out. Her eyes widened and stared at us in amazement. "Who is she?" Marcus asked.

"I was with her when we were attacked earlier. I couldn't think of a place to go to her so I thought of bringing her here. I also know that she is in a precarious condition because I'm sure they know the smell of her blood so she might be harmed."

They stared at Anna's behavior.

"Your girlfriend?" Yuri asked.

"She's my secretary," I replied.

"It's better if she stays with you first because maybe something else will happen to her," Raso said.

"How is Mercedes missing? Isn't she with you Marcus?"

"I just shopped for a while, when I came back she was gone. We used the black sand and we found out someone had taken her. Maybe they had a purpose with mom so they did that. I'm so worried for her." "We need your help to get Mercedes back."

I felt Anna walk closer to where I was.

"It's embarrassing but I would like to ask something..." She said weakly. I know that many questions are troubling her mind.

I wish she hadn't seen and found out my true identity because I might have added to his problem.

"Earlier, while Drake was in the middle of fighting two men. I saw a tattoo in there neck, I am very curious because I feel that those two are connected to the death of my parents," she explained. Raso suddenly started from her. He slowly walked close to her habit.

"Don't you want to know who your real parents are? I can help you..."

"I don't have time to look for them, they don't care about me why should I value them?"

"Are you sure?"

"Every parent has reasons for doing things..."

Anna was silent for a moment. Only the chirping of animals here in the forest can be heard. It was dark all around because it was 11:00 pm.

"Let's go inside to talk more about things, the darkness here outside the house is frightening," Yuri sighed.

We all nodded and went inside the house. We talked a lot about finding Mercedes. "I understand, just let me know if you have any information" Anna replied. They all nodded. "Then I'll go first, maybe my friend is worried about me," she added.

"Be careful..." Raso ordered and we started to stand up.

We said goodbye to Marcus before finally leaving the house.

"Let's go?" I wondered. Her eyebrows rose as she stared at me. "What car do we have?"

"Me..."

"Huh?"

"Wait a second." I walked away for a moment and took a sip. I immediately jumped up and transformed into a werewolf. Anna stared into my red eyes for a moment.

She remained standing and watching my whole being.

I motioned for her to ride behind me and she immediately got what I wanted to convey.

I could feel her clinging to my fur so I started running and headed for the road out of the forest.

We had no trouble traveling to her condo because it was already the middle of the night and most of the people were already asleep, a few minutes later we reached the condo where Anna was staying. We hid in a corner, that part was dark and only the moonlight served as light.

Anna got off the ride and looked at me again. I stared into her eyes. I stared at her in shock when she suddenly stepped closer to me and stroked her hand on my hair, she smiled.

"Thank you so much for saving me Sir Drake," she weakly promised. A few seconds later she walked into the condo. I even watched her give before I finally left.

I never thought I would meet such a person, who accepts me and understand me. With the force of the pounding of my chest, it seemed to want to escape inside me.
