Chapter 54

One of them rushed at him again and he immediately kicked it. He also avoided an attack by another black werewolf.

He ran quickly towards me and it was as if cold water had been poured on me when he suddenly transformed into a werewolf.

Time seemed to slow down and I couldn't feel myself. I stared into his red eyes and his sharp fangs.

A few more seconds and he stopped me, he motioned for me to ride behind him. I stared at the two black werewolves for a moment and was about to attack us again so I could do nothing but ride behind Drake. I clung tightly to his brown fur, it wasted no time and immediately ran. I tightened my grip on him even more because he was running fast.

A few more minutes passed and we entered a dense forest. If I was mistaken we would not have been able to follow the two werewolves who wanted to kill Drake.

With the many questions in my mind, it was as if I was going to die where I am now. I didn't quite think Sir Drake was a werewolf?

My hair is standing on end and I just want to go home and lock myself in the condo. I can't stand what's happening now, my emotions are mixed.

A few moments later we came to a small house, made of wood. The whole forest is dark and only the light of the moon serves as light here.

My body dropped on purpose and I stared at Drake's total appearance.

My whole body seemed to soften and I gradually felt dizzy and lost consciousness.

Drake's POV

I never thought those idiots would come back to me, and what's even more surprising is that even Anna has been touched by me. I knew that Anna and I were in trouble before so I could do nothing but run away.

I knew Anna had a lot of questions because her two eyes saw that I had transformed into a werewolf, it's not easy to imagine that a normal person would be a horrible werewolf.

We are now at Mercedes 'house. I have nowhere else to go but here. Anna lost consciousness earlier so I decided to let her inside the house. .much to my surprise because Mercedes and Marcus were gone

I immediately laid Anna down on the bed, she lost consciousness perhaps due to shock.

Something different is happening now. I don't know why they want to kill me? Who are they? What was my sin?

I stopped at the thought of seeing Anna move. She blinked and slowly rose. Her eyes widened as she looked around, perhaps wondering where she was now.

She hesitated to stare at me. She seems to be scanning my whole body.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you," I said.

"W-Where am I?" She asked in surprise.

'In the middle of the forest, you fainted earlier," I explained.

"Where are those who want to kill you? Who are they? What was your fault?"

"I also don't know why they want to kill me."

"S-Sir Drake is it true what I saw before?" she asked hesitantly. The one smiled bitterly and nodded.

I think he needs to know the truth, I don't know where to start because I can't assume that someone will see my true identity.

"Yes... When I was born, I know I'm different. I grew up with a big secret to keep. I have werewolf blood that I inherited from my father, we decided to keep it a secret from people because we don't want trouble, it's hard, annoying and it's like you're living a lie. "I don't know but I just felt the liquid forming in my eyes." I always pray that I would have been normal, that I would not be like this..." I added. I could not hold back my tears and they fell on their own.

I felt her stand up on the bed and walk closer to me, she stroked my back and then hugged me.

All I thought was disgust and she would stay away from me.

"It's not your fault, no one to blame," she said as he stroked my back.

"Are not you scared?"

She smiled at me and sat down next to me. "Do you remember the first day we met, you were very rude then and so am I, but I can see in your eyes that you are kind. That you're a good kid, you're a normal person Drake remember that. It's like your power is just extra powers, you're being a werewolf. That's a blessing. Thank you so much for saving me earlier- " Even though she hadn't finished what he was saying, I immediately hugged her, I don't know why I feel like I'm having fun now. I felt her hug me back.

"Thank you so much, Anna, for making me comfortable."

A few seconds later I let go of the hug.

"I have a question," she later asked. 'I have a strong suspicion that they also had something to do with the loss of my parents," she added. My eyes widened.

I am very grateful to them but one day they were just killed by a mysterious group, the only thing I remember then was the letter 'F' mark on the neck of a man who took my parents 'life. It was so sad because even though they were not my real parents, they loved me like their own child, so I want to avenge them, I am willing to do anything just to avenge them." I could feel the sadness and anger in her heart, I noticed the clenching of her palms and knew how angry she was at the person who had done this to her parents.

"Ahm... Where're your true parents?" I know I'm not close enough to ask this question but I'm just curious.

"I don't know, I have no idea and I have no intention of looking," she replied and smiled bitterly.

Later on, I felt a strange presence from afar. It looked like someone else was coming and they were getting closer and closer.

"What's wrong?" Anna asked. But before I could answer there was a growl of werewolves outside the house.
