Livid at what they had said, Asher went running into the woods in his wolf form.

His mind was in great turmoil as he thought about what the council of elders had said. Did they really think that he would kill Elizabeth as soon as she delivers?

Elizabeth didn’t deserve death and he was going to make sure she didn’t die. Despite his initial stand in the matter, now he knows how wrong he has been trying to make her pay for her father’s sin.

For someone who has been through the cruelest of moment, She still held him close when he was at his lowest. He would never forget how she took care of him when he was at the point of death.

Her strength and care for him was second to none and he would never forget everything she had done for him.

He let out a howl into the forest, long and hard. So much so that it was enough to scare off birds perching at tree tops

Asher was beyond confused. On one hand, he knew that disobeying the council of elders’ instructions would be a very terrible thing to do and he couldn’t afford to risk the consequences. Failure to do as they said might result in bad consequences.

Asher came to the foot of a lake at the edge of the forest before he transformed into his human form. All was silent with every living creature hidden in their nets. He feared no attack because he ruled these territories but Asher knew that there were still some rogues who were not under his command and so, he had to be careful still.

His mind was still going in circles as he thought about what he could do correct the sentence he himself made. Escaping with Elizabeth wasn’t impossible but it will leave him without a pack, letting her go isn’t an option either.

The damn council will make sure she is found and brought back. He can’t even ask his brother Jax for him. He already declared himself his enemy and there would be no going back.

Asher was trapped between the devil and the deep blue sea with no hope of escaping either of them. He couldn’t deny it any further, he cared for Elizabeth with all his heart and the last thing he would is to see her get hurt.

“F**k” he let out a curse into the atmosphere.

Out here, he doesn’t have to hide how he really felt. He can vent as much as he wanted without fear of being seen as loosing control.

He heard shuffles in the near by bushes and turned swiftly to notice a Brown Wolf walking towards him.

Recognition was evident in his eyes as he stared at the new wolf advancing towards where he stood with careful steps before its shifted back to their human form as well.

Asher’s anger only intensify as he glared openly at whoever it was, “Where you following me?” Asher growled.

“No, i wasn’t. I was out running and heard your howl and decided to come check if you are okay. You sounded as if you were in pain” She said simply as she stood bare before him.

Her red hair was wild in a mess, her perky breast staring back at Asher who stood only an inch away from her with heated eyes.

Kara was shameless before him and Asher already hated the fact that his beast still found her attractive after what she had done. Asher trained his eyes not to look at her exposed chest any further than necessary as he quickly turned away from him.

“I don’t need your help Kara. Go away”

“Then why are you here?’’ she asked as she took a step close to him.

“None of your business woman. Go away” He snapped just as weakly, her arousal starting to fill his nostrils and making his c**k twitch.

Asher was like a moth attracted to the flame with no hope of ever going back. The only way is to get her to leave.

They are both creatures of instincts and can be easily controlled by their primal needs especially when a female wolf was willingly offering themselves up for mating. Even though he hated her, he can only do as much as push her away.

“I can help you” Kara purred.

Asher let out a warning growl when he felt her hand touched his shoulder, ever so slightly, running her cold fingers down his arm. Asher shivered, not knowing what to say or feel at that moment. She was a seductive vixen and he knew the earlier he left her presence, the better for him.

“Stop!’’ he barked.

“Why Alpha? You look worried and i’m only helping you’’ she purred even though as she leaned against him.

The look in her eyes was one of determination and Asher knew what a determined Kara could do. He was convinced that she would carry out what she had in her mind without anyone stopping her. Afterall, there was really no one to stop her which gave her a free reign to do whatever she liked.

She placed a warm k**s on his back, tracing her wet warm tongue through the scars on his skin, savoring the salty taste of his flesh that was a blend of the earth and manly aroma.

She let out a satisfied m**n as her fingers trail lower across his body, aiming to grab hold of the one thing that could satisfy her. At that moment, there was nothing Asher could do but to take charge as he turned her around just as swiftly before pulling her into his chest.

A little triumph smile couldn’t wait to escape her lips, knowing exactly what was coming.

“You need to be punished”

“Yes Alpha. Punish me right now” She cried out in her most seductive voice as she stared up at him.

Kara’s prowess was known around the pack. She had basically bedded every male in the court with the exception of Alex and the council of elders. She was loose, that much Asher knew but boy, her body was fire.

The same fire she had used to lure all the many men she had slept with and Asher realized he wasn’t about to allow himself be consumed by it either.

Kara wrapped her hands around Asher’s neck, drawing herself closer and closer to him. he was everything she needed in her man. In fact, he was ten times all the men she had slept with. She couldn’t quite understand why he was still resisting but she wasn’t going to give us either.

She reached in for a k**s but Asher ducked his head to the side and she met with his cheek. Asher moved away from her, giving himself the much needed distance.

With the look in his eyes, Kara knew she’d be a fool to take another step closer and try to seduce once again. And without another word, Asher left.
