“You will be staying here as per Asher’s order” Alex said the moment he led her into another room before turning around to look back at Beth’s rather cold and distant expression.

When she said nothing in reply, he simply muttered under his breath and shot her one more gaze before he quickly walked out the room and the door closed behind him rather loudly.

Beth jumped in fright as though she had been attacked by it. Letting out a breath, she turned and began to look around curiously, taking it in all at once.

Instead of her dirty dark cell, She realized she was staring at a different room entirely as her eyes met with the neon curtains hanging across the window. It matches with the sheet covering the large bed by the corner, she took note as she went.

Was it a guest room? She wondered as her gaze continued to scan every inch of the room. Everything looked unused yet neat and very much placed in their right places. A rectangular table sat by the far corner, close to the window with a flower vase on it.

Turning to glance at the other direction, her gaze fell on a tall mirror leaning across the cream painted wall causing a little gasp to erupt her mouth. Beth was completely taken in by her reflection in the mirror. Her hair was looking like a wild mess not to mention the scars and red bruises scattered all over her once smooth skin. The bags around her eyes could weight thousands if not a million pounds with visible dark circles to top it off.

Beth looked unrecognized even to herself as her eyes slowly moved from across her face as it trailed lower and settled on her rather flat stomach and then it hit her.

“She is with child, Asher” Those words echo in her mind over and over again like a stab to her chest.

Bitter pile start to rise from the pit of her stomach as she crumbled down on her knees against the floor. Her teeth meeting the fresh cut across her cracked lips hard,tasting b***d in her buds even but it didn’t stop her from biting down harder as her mind began to replay every agonizing thing Asher had ever said and done to her.

The shattering thought alone was enough to make her feel nauseous as she had her hands pressed firmly against the stomach and coughing out dry heaves.

Her mouth hang open in total disbelief at the disgusting thought of a child growing inside of her. Not just some child but one that has the b***d of that monster Asher.

Fresh tears flood her eyes and slip down her cheek. Shaking her head from side to side, Beth continued to mutter to herself. “No..no..no, it’s can’t be. I can’t be pregnant_hell no”

Asher didn’t just force himself on her but also planted his seed into her as well. How horrible can he really be. She cringed with all her might as more tears flood her eyes and spilling all over the floor, leaving her in more mess than she already was.

A sharp knock against the door had her swallowing back tears and saliva as she struggled back on her feet before turning to face the door way. Panic flared inside her chest as the door burst open and a group of pack women walked in and stood before her, eyes wide and narrowing at her pitiful appearance.

The slim one with braided hair had a tray of food in her arms. Her lips curled upward in disgust when her eyes rake over the mess she had made on the floor.

The chubby one with black short hair had a look of indifference in her eyes as she bend over and placed the clothes she came in with against the bed. The younger girl among the two woman simply stayed quiet with eyes casted to the floor. Something in her demeanor told Beth she didn’t want to be in her presence.

“We are sent by the Alpha to give you a bath” The chubby one said, her blue eyes raking up and down her body.

Beth sniffed back more tears before arching a brow at the woman, her eyes narrowing in annoyance.

“I can give myself a bath just fine” she snapped back.

“I’m sure you can but Alpha Asher insist we carry out the task ourselves” The slim one replied just as sharply before moving to grab hold of her shoulder.

Jerking away from the near contact, Beth backed away from the three ladies with a shudder. “Don’t touch me” she yelled, her eyes darting from face to face.

“Like I said, I can bath and take care of myself without your help and I would appreciate it if you can respect that”

The slim one glanced at the other two with a snort under her breath before bouncing on Beth who was obviously no match to her strength. Grabbed by both ladies, they dragged her into the bathroom effortlessly despite her kicking and trashing in their arms to be set free.

“Stop fighting so much. You are only going to hurt yourself” The smaller woman reasoned as she followed from behind with other bath essentials.

It seems their Alpha order is Paramount to any discomfort their manhandling can cause her as they continued with their task of getting her to the bathroom nonetheless.

After they finished filling the bathtub with water, they helped her out of whatever was left of her shredded clothes before placing her into the bath.

Tired of struggling against them and failing as well, Beth sat still with slouch shoulders as two of the women, each grabbing an arm and began to scrub her until her skin was raw and her hair thoroughly washed and shampooed as well.

After her bath, they dried her off and had her dressed in one of the clothes they came in with before they turned to leave.

Beth looked up just in time to catch a glimpse of the smaller one among the three woman offered her a sympathetic smile before slipping out the door.

Once alone, Beth couldn’t help but shutter with almost disgust. One look at the tray of food placed before her and every single appetite for food was gone. Food won’t be able to mend what has been broken inside of her tonight. Absolutely nothing could heal her heart from all the aching.

Even though she has been cleaned and washed to the best of their ability, she still feel just as dirty and can only wish to end it all as she threw her shivering form on the bed before coiling herself into a ball against it.

Her mind turned and churned, with endless thought, most of which were centered on the innocent life growing within her. Where Mika words truth or simply meant to save her from the crutches of death tonight. Whatever be the case, Beth didn’t want to believe she was indeed with child.

But something at the back of her mind told her she was really with the monster child forcing her to erupt into a louder wail. How did she ever get so cursed in her life. Was it really because of her father’s crime or it was something she did in her past life. It must be a mistake from her past life and karma was getting her punished for it, she concluded with more tears flooding her eyes.

Childhood dreams flooded her mind,bringing more tears to her eyes as well as staining the sheet underneath her head.

Beth always dreamt of moments when she would fall in love with some dashing young man and get married in a small church,officiated by a priest before going away on their honeymoon. Of a day when a doctor would confirm her pregnant, the news causing her husband to hug her with tears in his eyes as he k**s her lips before lifting her off the ground and into a warm embrace as they both look forward to starting up their little family at last.

Somehow, when she met Asher, Beth had a feeling her dreams were about to become reality but little did she know it would turned out in that unfortunate way. Another tear threatened to slip down her cheek but she held it back as it burned through her throat like hot lava.

The pain in her chest was nothing compared to knowing she is going to have a child she would never be able to love. A child that was practically forced on her by a man who want nothing more than to see her suffer and die miserably. What punishment could possibly be worst than that.

The door to her room was abruptly thrown open, forcing her out of her mind prison as her eyes flung open to stare at the unkind ones staring down at her.
