Me: No news from Scott or Kira…

Stiles: And nothing from Lydia either…

He blows out a breath, scratching the back of his neck. He often does that when something’s wrong.

Me: What’s wrong? You look weird.

Stiles: Yes, I’m anxious. By now you should have seen that I’m practically always in this state.

I put my hand on his shoulder.

Me: Why is it so important to you that we’re all at the graffiti terminal? Is it because of your . Vision?

Stiles: Yes, but… It’s actually not that important.

He looks down.

Me: Stiles… Tell me what it is.

He exhales and confesses

Stiles: I’ve been asking my dad about his high school friends. He doesn’t see any of them! None of them! And they were his best friends at the time, and I started thinking too much, like I always do. And then… I tell myself that if Scott’s my best friend now, he won’t be for life.

I smile.

Stiles: Please don’t laugh..

Me: I’m not mocking you for a second, Stiles. I just have a completely different take on this. Scott’s my brother so there’s no way I’m not going to see him. He’s dating Kira, so if it works out between them, we won’t lose her either. Lydia’s going to go to the same school as me after high school so we’ll still see each other and I’m planning on moving in with Allison and Lydia in San Francisco. The only thing that remains to be seen… Is whether you’re going to want to keep me…

He smiles at me and holds me close

Stiles: I could never let you go, Hannah. I love you, Hannah.

Me: I love you more Stiles

We smile at each other

Me: And don’t forget we’re a super pack!

Stiles: Super pack?

Me: It’s not very common to have a pack with a real alfa, a banshee, a hunter, a beta, a kitsune, an ancient warrior and a hyperactive guy with a baseball bat!

He laughs

Stiles: What would I do without you?

Me: I’m seriously wondering!

He laughs and we k**s but Liam runs towards us and separates us.

Stiles: What?

Liam: Scott’s in danger!

Me: What?!? Ou sa?!

Liam leads us towards Scott and I take the opportunity to bring out my Katana. When we arrive, Scott and Kira are fighting a giant man with a blue claw.

Me: Stiles go away!

Stiles: No, I’m not.

I’m transforming.

Me: Run!

Scott and Kira end up on the ground so I run towards him and jump on his back and try to ram the Katana into him but he grabs me and throws me to the ground. I teleport behind him and slash his leg but he grabs the Katana and throws it further. I let out my claws and run towards him but he digs his claws into my stomach. I scream in pain but Scott grabs me and pushes me further away. He fights back

Scott: Who are you?!

Man: Your biggest fan Scott. Show me the man who defeated Deucalion and wiped out the Argent family!

Scott roars and throws himself at him. Like in church, he has to do it alone. He struggles and manages to dodge a few blows but the man throws him against the wall. He made his claws shine and was going to dig them into his stomach but a boy who must be our age ran towards him and managed to hurt him, but he ended up on the ground like the rest of us. I can finally feel my wound healing and I look at my brother. The man picks him up by the neck and digs his claws into him and Scott screams. He starts to fall asleep but I get up again.

Me: Scott, fight him! You’re stronger than him! Don’t forget who Alfa is!

He gets up and looks at the man with determination in his eyes. He grabs the man’s wrist and twists it. I can hear the claws snap. He stands up and the man falls over in pain, holding his arm.

Scott: I don’t know who you are or what you’re about to do but I’m going to give you a choice. Either keep going and I’ll break another limb, or get out of my way now.

He looks at Scott, then at the whole pack and finishes on me. I raise my Katana and point it at him.

Me: I’d leave.

He gets up, grunts and takes off running. I gasp and throw myself into my brother’s arms, but I think back to the boys and the whole pack turns to him, who is looking at Scott. I feel like I know him.

Boy: You don’t remember me, do you? I guess I’ve changed a lot since primary school.

I look at my brother

Scott: Theo?!

Theo? The name really rings a bell but I can’t say why.

Me: Do you know him?

Theo: I know you too Hannah. And Stiles too. I thought the four of us would never see each other again, but a couple of months ago I heard about a pack in Beaconhills. When they told me Scott was the Alfa, I couldn’t believe it.

Me: And what do you want?

I don’t trust him.

Theo: I came back to Beaconhills. I want to be part of your pack

Later on

Stiles: We haven’t seen this guy in years, don’t you think it’s a little suspicious?

Scott: I’m more concerned about that guy who tried to kill me.

Me: Yeah, but he’s shady, Theo!

Ah well!

I turn around and it’s Lydia and Allison.

Allison: Where have you been?

Lydia: Never mind! We’re off!

We smile and follow them towards the library. Stiles signs his name and passes me the pencil. I see he’s put his initial next to “D.H” Derek Hale. I smile and put mine next to it. I hope to see him again one day. I pass the pencil to Kira but she stops me.

Kira: It’s not vandalism? Is it?

Me: No. In theory.

I smile at her and go next to Stiles, who puts her arm on my shoulder. Kira joins us, then the whole pack. This is it. We’re officially terminal now
