Sky’s Rejection Chapter 68

(Sky’s POV)

‘It’s time for you to go back Sky. Your mate and pack need you. Your pup shall be here any day. Good luck my child.’ The moon Goddess said as she smiled down at me. How long have I been gone? Dimitri must be worried sick. I have been so busy dealing with training. I hope I am ready to take on these twins and manage my time the way everyone will need me to do.

‘Yes, Goddess. Are you sure I am ready?’ I asked, worried I won’t be able to help the twins as well as the Goddess would be able too.

‘Of course, my child. You are more than equipped to handle this. I know you will make me proud. Now get back to that mate of yours before he starts a rampage through the pack.’ The Goddess said as she chuckled in amusement. Why would he start a rampage? I really hope Demon hasn’t taken control.

‘Of course, Goddess. I will do all that I can. Could you tell me how long I have been here?’ I said as I bowed before her. The chuckling echoed around me, before fading away. Without a second to be able to look back up, I fluttered my eyes as I appeared in a hospital bed. There are needles and tubes covering most of my body. How long have I been gone?

I heard a growl coming from the enjoined bathroom. s**t, I know that growl, I could have identified it from anywhere. Demon. I heard incoherent words being spoken and I realize the growl was towards the man trying to approach him. Where the hell is Dean at? He knows no one should ever approach the Alpha when Demon takes control. Only I, Dean and Mark are allowed. Goddess, why do I have all these damn tubes attached to me?

I quickly pull every single one of them out, ignoring the pain it causes. Stay with me pup, we need to get to your daddy.

‘I will heal us, Sky. Just focus on getting to our mate.’ Rain said as I felt her needing our mate as the seconds ticked by. It is nice to have you two back with me, I thought.

‘We are always here; we just couldn’t communicate with you in the spirit realm.’ Angel comments as I feel their protection surrounds me in reassurance. I missed these two.

‘We missed you too. Now get to our mate before he does something he will regret.’ Rain states sternly.

I jump out of bed, running into the bathroom. I see Demon in a protective stance ready to attack anyone who approaches him. I ran up behind him, ignoring the burning water splattering all over my body. I quickly engulf my mate in my arms, refusing to let go. Within a few seconds, I feel Dimitri relax in my hold as I sigh of contentment leaves his sexy lips. I never realized how much I needed him until this moment. I also realized how big my stomach has gotten from our pup. I feel as if I am carrying a watermelon attached to me.

“Leave,” I whispered, hoping they would all exit the room without argument. That was hopeful thinking it seems.

“Luna, please allow me to examine you.” The doctor says as he tries to reach for me. Dimitri tenses in my arms, making me wish these people would just listen to me.

‘How dare they try to disobey us.’ Angel growls in warning, I keep my lips tight, not allowing them to hear her.

‘I will rip them apart. Can’t they see we want to be alone with our mate right now?’ Rain asked in a hiss, I could feel them both emerging and I knew I had to get them to leave the room soon or they would have their Luna and Alpha going on a rampage. I am not sure how long I have been out, but it must have been a while at how irritable I am feeling.

“You will, as soon as I have time with my mate. He needs me. Leave the Alpha and I alone for now.” I said as calmly as I could, swallowing down my counterpart’s aggravation. I didn’t want to admit how much I needed him as well. I began to peck every inch of skin I could lay my eyes on, trying to keep my mate calm in my arms. He seemed so tense, and I was feeding off his energy.

As everyone exited the bathroom, thanks to Dean, I whispered into Di’s ear. “Dimitri, look at me.” The pup kicked and I wanted to scream in delightment. This is the first time I have felt our little pup moving around. I wonder if it was Dimitri’s too.

Dimitri ignored me, didn’t even budge from the position he was in. Did he not want to connect with me the way I needed to with him?

‘Make them see us.’ Rain whined in my head. I could feel Angel whimpering in agreement. They felt rejected and I wasn’t sure if I could comfort them at this point.

“Dimitri? Demon? I am begging you to look at me. I have been asleep too long and all I need right now is to see my mate. We have many things to discuss and if I heard Dean right it seems we have a meeting with your father and the counsel. I would like a few minutes with you before they show up.” I begged as I recalled the faint conversation, I heard whispering around me when I was with the Goddess. I couldn’t and wouldn’t break down right now. Dimitri needed me strong; this pup needed his or her mother, the pack needed their Luna, and those twins needed a powerful mentor. I would not break.

Dimitri slowly turned around, as if I would disappear if he moved too fast. His hand inched towards my face, at a snail’s pace. As soon as his thumb started rubbing circles on my cheek, I smiled from the tingles shooting through my skin. Heat pooled up as I felt connected to my mate. I chuckled, as I felt the desire increase.

“Come on,” I said as I guided Dimitri out of the bathroom, after I wrapped towels around both of us.

“Sky?” Dimitri exclaimed, as if he had just realized I was in front of him. There is no way Demon had control this whole time. I felt Di there. What is going on with him? He wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me as if his life depended on it. I wasn’t complaining though, I have missed being in my mate’s arms.

“I can’t believe our pup is moving. I have missed so much. I have missed you Di. Thank you for being by my side and keeping me safe.” I said, with a smile on my face. I saw Di smiling until suddenly his face began to fall.

‘Mate is thinking too much, Distract him.’ Angel begs, I could feel her want for him growing.

I slammed my lips to Di, wrapping my arms around his neck. I felt as he fell into my k**s, his tongue pressing entrance into my mouth. The jerk of his hands made me wrap my legs around his waist. I needed him. I wanted to be as close as possible. Di slowly moved us towards the bed, as I felt him lay me down. His hands exploring my skin, as tingles erupted all over my body. The heat pulled between my legs as he antagonizingly ripped off my clothing. I moved my h**s around, successfully dropping his towel off of him. His body pressed against mine as I m****d into his mouth.

As he moved his k****s down my chest, towards my breast, I m****d, “Dimitri…. Take me… Please.” The words were half m**n, half beg as I pleaded with my mate. Without hesitation, Dimitri thrusted into me, as his tongue swirled around my n****e. He started nipping on my skin, sending pleasure and pain to shoot through my body. My core began to heat up, as I thrusted my h**s to meet his. Dimitri’s head flew back in pleasure before his lushise lips crashed back into mine. I pulled our bodies closer, as I felt about to come completely undone.

“Dimitri, I’m… going to,” I said between pants and m***s of pleasure. Damn, it was so hard to speak presently.

‘Just lay back and enjoy our mate.’ Angel purred in delight.

‘Mhmm, soak up that amazing looking man of ours. Roar.’ Rain seductively stated, as if she couldn’t believe he was all ours.

“Me too, Mon amour.” Dimitri whispered huskily in my ear. Just those words sent me over the edge. I dug my nails into his back as I felt us both finishing together. His creams feeling my inside as I tingled in happiness. I felt complete, as if I had been away from him for years and just now reunited.

“I am pretty certain this is a bad time, but your father and the counsel are here Di.” Dean said, as he pushed his head through the door. Dimitri threw a blanket around me, to cover my bareness from Dean’s view. Demon took front reins with Dimitri, as they growled threateningly at Dean.

Dean raised his hands, as he chuckled. “Chill man, I have a mate already. Though the Luna is pretty…. smoking.”

“Dean, I advise you to shut up right now and leave this room before I kill you.” Dimitri growled between clenched teeth. He was holding Demon back. Dean laughed in amusement, knowing damn well he just loved to get on Dimitri’s nerves. He left the room as I pulled Dimitri’s focus back to me.

“Let’s get dressed so we are presentable for your father and the counsel. Will Ty be there?” I asked as I pulled myself and Dimitri up.

Dimitri sighed in annoyance. “Yes, Ty will be there. I assume you’re right, I only wanted to spend some time with you though.” The whine at the end, made me giggle. He was so childish sometimes.

“We will Di, after we deal with this. Our pack and pup come first.” I said, before pecking his lips. I ran to the bathroom, quickly pulling my clothes on. Before I knew it, we were both dressed and headed to Dimitri’s conference room to discuss all the recent events.
