Seven Years of Marriage with Jake -
Chapter 30
Book 2- Chapter 21
I went home.
During this time, I had investigated many flower growers and found high-quality, affordable flower sources. I opened a small flower shop in a street-facing store at the entrance of the community.
I really like growing flowers. Back when my parents gave me $50,000, I wanted to rent a small shop to open a flower store.
Unfortunately, at that time, Ethan said his shop was short on cash and hoped I could help out with some money. Without much hesitation, I gave it to him.
Thinking about it now, I was really stupid.
Now, I can finally do what I like.
The bouquets I make are always particularly loved by customers.
Although I don't lack money now, being recognized by others still gives me a very happy feeling.
These past few days, a particularly strange customer has been coming to the shop. He's a very handsome man with a gentle demeanor, looking about my age.
He comes every day to choose nine white roses, pays for them, but doesn't take them away, saying he's storing them with me.
Today is already the eleventh day. The white rosebuds he chose in the previous days have all bloomed. I sit at the entrance waiting for him. He comes every day at six in the afternoon. Today is no exception, but there seems to be a slight difference.
Previously, he always came dressed casually, but today he's wearing a suit, his gentle demeanor slightly cooler.
This time, he chose nine fully bloomed white roses and handed them to me: "Boss, please bundle these together with the previous ones."
After I wrapped them and gave them to him, he pushed the flowers back into my arms.
llooked at him in confusion, only to see him gazing at me with a gentle smile, as refined as jade.
"Ava, these are the flowers I promised to give you."
