Chapter 1572 Miss You So Much

Adolf looked at Byron's back as he went away.

He was secretly happy that he finally got rid of Amanda because the woman dug her own grave and provoked the tycoon.

But on the other hand, he was somehow uneasy because of Byron's gaze before he left.

He wondered why that kind of big shot would suddenly mention the little girl.

Meanwhile, Amanda cried miserably and helplessly in the classroom.

She kept looking in the direction of the door, expecting her husband, who had left would return.

But no one returned from outside the door after a long while.

Seeing that, the bodyguard guarding Amanda shook his head with disappointment.

No matter men or women, once they lost their lives and hopes because of feelings or a certain person, there was no difference between living like a walking dead.

Adolf smoked a few cigarettes at the door while calling her secret lover to announce the good news.

After twenty minutes later, a strange man came over with a file in his hand.

"Is it Mr. Crawford who asked you to come?" Adolf put out the cigarette in his hand, stepped forward, and asked with a smile.

With a gentle attitude, the man nodded and took a document to Adolf. "This is the admission procedure for your wife with a mental illness. Just sign your name on the marked area." As he said, he glanced at his watch for a while.

Adolf was a good observer.

He quickly took over the pen, didn't even read the content, and signed his name in a few marked areas.

Adolf returned the documents and said, "Please have a look. Is it all done?"

The man flipped through the documents and nodded. "Okay. We will send your wife to the hospital for treatment. Mr. Crawford told you to take good care of the little girl, Iris." "Don't worry, that's my daughter. I will definitely take good care of her," Adolf blurted out.

The man nodded, took the documents, and left.

Adolf took a glance at the classroom.

He hated Amanda so much that he didn't even want to go again to have a look.

"You just stay in the mental hospital for the rest of your life!"

With that, he patted the dust off his trousers and left happily.

Normally, Byron would pick up Aiden first, then went together to pick up Mia.

But today, Byron was at Mia's school, so he waited for Mia to finish class, picked her up, and then went to pick up Aiden.

In the car, Mia was worried. "Daddy, Iris didn't come to the classroom this afternoon... Do you think her mother will still beat her?"

Byron looked at Mia, reached out, and stroked her little head. "I don't know."

Mia sighed and looked out of the window rather melancholy.

After picking up Aiden, Mia hurriedly told him about today's matter right after he got into the car. She complained while pouting and folding her arms, looking very unhappy. After listening to the incident, Aiden frowned.

Then he looked at Byron.

His gaze seemed to indicate that his sister was being bullied, and did his father let the perpetrator off the hook easily?

Byron gave him a reassuring look.

Only then did Aiden withdrew his gaze.

Halfway through the journey, Athena called.

Endless tenderness immediately appeared on his face as he picked up the phone.

"Did you get off work?"

"Yeah. I just finished the meeting and heading to the basement. Are you home yet?" "Soon," Byron replied.

Mia leaned on the phone and said coquettishly, "Mommy, I miss you so much today!"

Byron simply turned on the loudspeaker.

Athena chuckled, "Be patient baby. I will be home soon."

"Um!" Mia hummed and pushed the phone back to Byron's ear. "You guys talk."
