Chapter 1276 Quality of a Study Slacker

Athena was told that in addition to Paul, there was another female classmate who had the qualifications for the exchange program. However, only one person was available. The director fought for him due to his outstanding competition performance, so the school awarded him the opportunity.

The other female classmate came from an average family background.

She had worked hard for a long time to obtain this chance.

After he gave up the opportunity, the chance smoothly went to that female classmate.

Athena and Byron spoke with the director for a few more moments.

Then they left with Mia.

On the way, Byron looked at Mia's report card and muttered to Athena, "Honey, Mia did quite well, didn't she? Does the director really need to say that so seriously?" Athena was speechless.

"Of the four hundred students in the grade, your daughter ranked over 200. You really think it's good?" She clicked her tongue in disapproval. "Mr. Crawford, don't admire your daughter so much. If she were your employee, you wouldn't be satisfied until she ranks first, would you?"

"As long as she's happy, I'll spoil her for a lifetime." Byron justified himself. "Are you really going to let Paul tutor Mia?"

"It's what your daughter requested. What can I do?" Athena linked arms with Byron. "Mia's dad, are you jealous of little Paul?"

Byron had noticed it before.

Mia liked Paul very much.

When she called him, it sounded so sweet.

"I just think he's just a kid, not as smart as Aiden," Byron grumbled.

His gaze fell on Mia, who was bouncing ahead energetically.

Just now, when she received her report card, she looked so dejected.

Now that Paul was going to tutor her, she was suddenly so joyful...

Athena laughed so hard that her shoulders shook slightly.

Byron glanced at her with helplessness in his eyes.

"Your daughter always likes good-looking people. Haven't I mentioned it to you before? When she was three years old, she followed the neighbor, a beautiful aunt, home," Athena said. "Is Paul good-looking?" Byron frowned.

He was just an immature kid.

"Of course, he's handsome!" Athena answered without hesitation.

Byron's expression became dissatisfied. "Is he really that handsome?"

Athena laughed so violently that her cheeks started to ache. "Of course, Mr. Crawford, you're the most handsome!"

Finally, a hint of a smile appeared on Byron's face.

Aiden sat in the nanny's car, waiting for his sister and parents.

His mother showed him Mia's report card after she got it.

He shared the same viewpoint as his father.

It didn't matter as long as his sister could be happy. After all, her extraordinary talent in painting was what others could never catch up to.

She couldn't be ignorant.

Apart from that, letting his sister be happy was the most important!

"Aiden, you ranked first in the grade! You're amazing!" Mia got into the car and immediately started praising her brother. "But I'm such a dummy, ranking almost three 300th!"

Aiden wanted to comfort her.

However...

"But Mommy just arranged for Paul to tutor me during the winter break! Next time, I'll definitely do better and aim for the top 100!" Mia said confidently.

"Alright, Paul only said he'll check his schedule." Athena fastened Mia's seatbelt.

But Mia was resolute. "When he said he'd check his schedule, it meant he agreed to tutor me! Mommy, we need to clean up a room for Paul to stay. Oh, by the way! Paul doesn't have any family members around anymore, and Christmas Day is coming soon. Mommy, can we invite Paul to celebrate it with us?"
