Love Unbreakable by Bank Brook -
Chapter 1261
Chapter 1261:
? ? ? ? ?
It only took one look for Raegan to realize that Jarrod was plotting to legally take Nicole's child.
Raegan had refrained from confronting Rhett, knowing that Nicole had probably asked not to be informed, to spare her additional stress.
Raegan had never imagined that Jarrod would bravely try to steal Nicole's child. Now that Nicole was in such a desperate situation, could he take all hope away from her?
Raegan exploded. “That bastard, I will find him and give him a good beating!”
Caught up in her rage, Raegan failed to understand the urgency of Nicole's situation.
Trying to maintain her composure, Nicole replied, “I’m fine, Raegan. Don't go after him. It won't do any good. He won't listen to you. Please don’t get upset about this.”
“But I need to confront him or I'll explode! “It’s been ages since I met someone so vile,” Raegan insisted, determined to confront Jarrod.
Nicole felt comforted by her friend's fervor, grateful that Mitchel had protected Raegan so effectively.
As the headlights of the car chasing her flashed in her rearview mirror, Nicole tensed and said quickly, “Raegan, I can't talk right now. I have some urgent business to take care of. Let's talk tomorrow..."
Just as Nicole was about to hang up the phone, there was a loud bang!
Derek's silver sedan collided with Nicole's car again, ripping off the bumper.
Nicole let out a scream, a noise that was carried directly to Raegan through the phone.
"What's going on, Nicole? Where are you? Are you in danger?"
Raegan's voice shook with panic.
As Nicole's forehead hit the steering wheel and blood began to drip, she was stunned. She thought about the possibility of dying today and realized she couldn't leave without saying a few last words.
Struggling to breathe, Nicole said, “Raegan, please tell Austin… Tell him I love him. My love for him never stopped…”
Despite Nicole's severe animosity towards Jarrod, her affection for their son, Austin, had always prevailed. He was the core of her existence, an essential part of her life.
Raegan, growing increasingly anxious, replied, “Nicole, don't scare me. What's going on? Where are you? “I’m coming to find you.”
Not knowing if there was enough time, Nicole pressed her hand to her bleeding forehead. Blood trickled through her fingers, but she tried to start the car.
“Raegan, and one more thing. Could you pass on a message to Roscoe for me?” Nicole said, fighting back the pain.
“Please take your time. There's no rush. Just tell me… Where are you now? “I’ll find you,” Raegan pleaded anxiously, trying to soothe Nicole’s distress.
"Tell Roscoe that as long as he's okay, I'm happy. Even if he later regains his memory of me, please tell him not to feel guilty..."
These were the feelings Nicole wanted to express to Roscoe. She understood him deeply. If his memories resurfaced one day, he would hate himself for his past actions. For now, in his state of amnesia, everything Roscoe did was innocent.
By not being aware of his past, Roscoe was freed from the weight of responsibility and could simply follow Miguel's instructions without encountering any obstacles.
