Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1352: Something's Gotta Give

A flash of pride crossed Earlene's face. "Marcos is the nicest man I've ever met and he's the only one who deserves me." "I'm not bad myself, why don't you have any regard for me?" Winston said half jokingly and half seriously.

"I didn't even say yes when you were chasing me before, let alone now."

At that, Winston hid the loss in his eyes and covered his chest with a hurt look, "You're so cruel, rejecting me once again." "Come on, don't be ridiculous. I don't have the heart to joke with you." Earlene looked slightly impatient.

Winston squared his shoulders, "Don't worry, I'll do what I promised you."

Earlene narrowed her eyes, "Paulina is the most important thing. Once we have her, Marcos will naturally introduce himself."

"Then we'll have to wait until she's alone to catch someone. With Marcos by her side, I'm afraid we'll have a hard time getting away with it."

Remembering Marcos' quick, precise and ruthless skills, Winston's eyes cooled for a few moments; he had never expected to meet such a strong opponent.

"Then we'll find a way to leave her alone."

Earlene spoke softly, as if things were easy to do.

Winston suddenly stood up and approached her.

"What do you want?" Earlene's body shrank unconsciously.

"Earlene," Winston rested one hand on her ear and lifted her chin with the other, curving the corner of his mouth, "If you let me do this for you, you have to give something, don't you?" With that, he lowered his head to kiss her.

Earlene hastily looked away, suppressing her displeasure, and said coldly, "What's your hurry when things haven't even worked out yet?"

Winston noticed the resistance on her face and straightened up, laughing loudly, "You're right, I'm in no hurry. I just thought I had to ask for something, otherwise it would all be for nothing." Earlene heard the threat in his words, a melancholy gleamed under his eyes and said coolly, "Don't worry, if you help me, you won't be disappointed in any favors I do for you."

"Oh?" Winston looked her up and down, "You intend to give me yourself?"

Earlene stood up and lifted her chin, "Yo Earlene I always do what I say."

Winston nodded, "Good, I believe you."

Earlene silently clasped the hands that had fallen to her side, full of disgust but with no choice but to achieve her goal.

...

Alvaro had been restless since he received the call from Marcos.

He hurried to rearrange his lodging, an estate in France owned by The Leoz family.

But it became a problem to organize who would go there to protect them.

He wasn't quite sure who to put in his place, and if the Leoz Group didn't need him to take care of it, he would have preferred to go himself.

After some deliberation, he called Eliazar, who had been with him the whole time, to come over.

"Eliazar, do you know what I asked you to come for?"

Eliazar shook his head.

Alvaro was silent for a few seconds before speaking slowly, "My brother and sister-in-law are in trouble in France and I want to send you to protect them." Hearing that it was Marcos, Eliazar bowed his head, "Yes."

Seeing the tension with which he agreed, Alvaro could not help but lose his smile: "Don't you feel like going back to my brother?".

Both Eliazar and Alfredo had been trained by his brother, who had asked Eliazar to help him when he took over the Leoz Group.

"Okay." Indeed, Eliazar was a bit excited, but more importantly, the Great Prince was in danger and he was desperate to be by his side to protect him. "Then take a few dark guards and leave for France immediately." Alvaro said.

"Yes."

Eliazar carried out his orders and left in a hurry.

And at that moment in France, Marcos took Paulina and the two little ones and headed for the estate of The Leoz family.

The inhabitants of the estate were surprised to see them and rushed to welcome them inside.

"Grand Prince, when did you and the great Pauline arrive in France? How come I wasn't told to pick you up at the airport?" the butler asked in confusion. "We have been here for a while." replied Marcos.

"A while?" The butler frowned, "Then why haven't you been coming to the estate?"

"I was scheduled to go for a short time before I left for another country, but something complicated came up at the last minute."

The butler was anxious at this, "Are you in danger?".

Mark nodded, but gave no further details, opened the door and asked, "Is it safe here?".

At his question, the butler was quick to say, "Of course it's safe here."

"Good."

Mark turned his head to Paulina and said, "We'll stay here for now and go back home someday."

"Go home?" Paulina frowned.

"Well, at the moment the camp is the safest."

Paulina thought it through and agreed, "Hmm. In J-town, I don't think there's anyone who doesn't despise The Leoz Family."

Unless Earlene really put the Bartram family at risk, she certainly wouldn't dare make a move.

"So let's find a way to get home." said Marcos.

Paulina smiled faintly, "Okay, all yours."

The next day, Eliazar arrived in France.

His arrival reassured Paulina.

"Did Alvaro ask you to come?" asked Paulina.

Eliazar nodded, "Well, it was the Second Prince who sent me to protect you."

"He did?" Marcos looked at Eliazar and cast a questioning glance at Paulina.

Paulina introduced herself, "He is also your aide, only sent by you to help Alvaro."

"What is the Grand Prince's condition now?" Eliazar asked with concern.

"All is well, except that he has not yet regained his memory."

Eliazar frowned, "Is there nothing Sener and the others can do?"

"Yes, they've been working on a drug to get his memory back, but the amount the other side put into Marcos was too strong for him to come back so easily for a while." Eliazar, fearing she would be upset, reassured her, "Great Paulina, don't worry, the Great Prince will get his memory back."

Paulina smiled back, "Hmm."

She and Marcos looked at each other and explained, " Eliazar, find a way to investigate and find out exactly who it was that was trying to capture me that day." "Okay, I'm going to find out now."

Eliazar received his orders and turned to leave in a hurry.

She watched him leave before Marcos asked, "What are your abilities?"

Paulina turned her head to look at him with a smile on her face, "Someone you've trained, do you think the skill might be poor?"

"Then I guess it's good." He said confidently.

Paulina couldn't help but lose her smile, "Of course."

...

Eliazar did not disappoint them and the results of the investigation were not long in coming.

"The other party is a famous little foreign mercenary, Skywolf', who has been professionally trained."
