Chapter 419 Parting Ways (Part Three)

She could hear Brian's labored breathing through the telephone. It was as if he was in pain somehow. But still, Molly kept silent. Brian felt upset at her silence. Finally, he said in a dominating voice, "You are not allowed to leave! Did you hear that?" A shiver of fear ran through Molly at Brian's words. Biting her lips, she knew there was no point in arguing with him right now. She just answered, "Yes."

Expecting an argument from Molly, Brian was obviously relieved to hear her agree with him at last. "Mol, remember to wait for me..." he said slowly, his voice fading into silence.

After that, he didn't say anything more. Molly frowned when she heard the end-call beep. With a puzzled expression, she gave back the phone to the nurse and thanked her.

"Ruby, long time no see!" Becky smiled brightly. Her smile was warm and brilliant like the sunshine. It was a smile that made people comfortable. However, her brilliant smile was repulsive to Molly. "Shut up!" Molly's hands clenched at her side. She stared fixedly into Becky's eyes. No, it was her eyes... Her heart jerked inside her chest. It was a strange feeling staring at your own eyes outside of a mirror.

"Well, can't you bear to see your eyes in my body?" Becky jeered. "I told you the other day that it was because Brian wanted you to give your eyes to me. That was why he asked you to have them examined. But you didn't believe me. Now... do you trust me?" she said mockingly.

Molly gnashed her teeth. She was trying her best to keep calm when all she wanted was to wipe the smug look in Becky's face. Taking a deep breath, she said slowly, "Becky Yan, don't you know better than to take your undeserved gain for granted!"

"Wow!" Becky lowered her eyes to look condescendingly at Molly's pale face. She said coldly, "Ruby Yan, don't you understand what's going on until now? You are nothing but a used goods. A person who is useless... Is just a piece of garbage!" Molly's breathing became harsh. The corner of her mouth trembled with rage. "Becky, sooner or later you will get your punishment!" she said through gritted teeth.

"Will I?" Becky reclined nonchalantly against the back of her chair. "I don't know if I would get punished. I just know what Brian said to me... That no matter what happens to me, he will deal with it!" She stopped talking for a while, observing that Molly's face increasingly turned pale. Her mouth curved into a satisfied smile.
