It was Lucas's return day, so Evelyn went home with Huston to change into clean clothes and rush to the airport together.

It was already 8:30 p.m. when the car stopped at the exit of the airport. Lucas's flight landed at 8:20 p.m. It was time to get his luggage and leave.

"Dad!"

"Dad, you're back!" Lucas raised his head to look at Huston. There seemed to be stars twinkling in his eyes, and his little mouth was wide open. Not to mention eight teeth, ten teeth could even be seen. "Yes, Dad is here to pick you up." Huston caressed his furry little head and rubbed it lovingly. "You've grown taller again."

Lucas smiled happily and clenched the man's big palm tightly. "I want to grow as tall as Dad!"

"Yes, you will," Huston could not help but laugh. When he saw Bert walking over from the corner of his eye, he got up and looked him in the eye. This person had helped him during his illness, so they were no longer at loggerheads when they met again. "Long time no see."

"Yes," Bert replied lightly. He did not say anything else and turned to look at Evelyn. However, after leaving for a few days, her face had gotten a little ruddy. Was it because of Huston's return? Thinking of this, Bert blinked and said, "The child is back safely."

His voice was a little deep, and Evelyn noticed it. She was a little worried. "Did you catch a cold?"

Her gentle concern made the corner of his heart sink, but Bert remained calm on the surface. "There is a slight temperature difference. It doesn't matter."

"The car is ready, Mr. Harper." The assistant reminded him at the right time, noticing the unusual atmosphere between the three of them.
