Skylar had never taken a plane before her debut. She only had her first ever experience after she entered the entertainment industry. Being able to travel while earning money concomitantly, she was unquestionably thrilled. After reading through the terms in the contract, she signed her name on it with a black fountain pen.

Kate said, "The post production of The Ballad of 1978 has been completed and is under approval for screening right now. I've watched the clip. Your acting isn't too bad. It's just that it wouldn't be a big hit." Kate's words made Skylar even more worried about the prospects of that movie. Though she had anticipated the outcome, it was inevitable she would still be affected if the film would eventually end up as a box office flop instead of a successful blockbuster. Her popularity had been going downhill after Empyrean Sword, and she reckoned it was because she had lost the hype from the show.

Other than the title of one of the four most sought-after female celebrities, she had actually not gained anything.

Kate comforted, "Youngsters nowadays are so impetuous. You have to have self-restraint instead of thinking about achieving instant success. Finding your place in the entertainment industry isn't that easy. It's an industry where the new is constantly replacing the old. There are newbies every day. The industry is only that big, yet many people yearn to get in. I hope you won't take it to heart that I didn't manage to pay much attention to you recently. I have more than one artiste under me, so I have to spend equal attention on everyone."

Those simple words were her way of dispelling Skylar's animosity and dissatisfaction toward her. She had undeniably applied the carrot and stick approach effectively.

With her head slightly lowered, Skylar burst into a fit of giggles. "I know. It's fine as long as you don't make me lose my job!"

While Kate kept quiet, Skylar was becoming slightly arrogant inside. She convinced herself that no one would dare get her fired with Tobias around.

After staying silent for a split second, Kate changed the subject and said, "You have to remember not to show your true feelings while participating in the reality show. The production team isn't bothered about whether you guys are getting along well. They are more than happy to see conflicts between all of you because that'll create more news for the show."

Without a doubt, Skylar understood Kate's advice. Among the list of guests, the former saw a familiar name-Saorise.

Having debuted many years before her, Saorise was a beauty with exquisite and striking features that gave off an exotic vibe due to her ethnicity. Given her sculpted facial features, no one would dare compare with her if she said she was ranked second in the entire entertainment industry. Her demeanor was so dynamic she could be sweet for a moment yet elegant in the next moment. Her attractive, sparkly, almond shaped eyes were especially captivating.

On top of that, Saorise was also the brand ambassador of the Ford Group's commercial plaza, which was a decision made personally by Tobias. She had signed a ten-year contract with them.

In other words, Saorise's look was a perfect fit for Tobias' aesthetic judgment.

Reality show participation was a means for female celebrities to compete against each other and attempt to steal the limelight from one another.
