“He wanted to return to the Sullivan family for two reasons: repay someone’s kindness and avenge himself.”

The doctor’s eyes widened.

“Those two?”

Mason nodded.

“He wanted to repay Mrs.

Sullivan’s kindness to him.

If it weren’t for her, he would have died on the street.

And because he was given another shot at life, he vowed to avenge himself and his mother for all the hell and humiliation the Sullivan family gave them.”

In the Sullivan Group, Rachel pushed the door of the CEO’s office open and put down a document in front of Odin.

“Shouldn’t you explain to me what this transfer order is about, Mr.

Sullivan?”

Odin cast a brief look at the document and nonchalantly commented over his coffee, “Well, as you can see.”

Rachel’s eyes narrowed, and a derisive smirk crossed her lips.

“Mr.

Sullivan, it appears you’re mistaken about our roles.

You’re not my superior.

We’re partners.

Our agreement is limited to aiding you in solidifying your position at Sullivan Group.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Rachel promptly grabbed the document, tearing it in half right before Odin, her countenance ice- cold.

“Mr.

Sullivan, if you have no interest in our partnership, you could just tell me frankly.

I’ll offer you whatever compensation you require, but that doesn’t translate to me being your subordinate.”

Rachel was really annoyed.

Being treated like a disposable toy and cast aside without her consent was her worst nightmare.

And now, that was precisely what Odin was doing, his blatant arrogance reflecting his dismissive attitude towards their partnership.

With narrowed eyes, Odin glanced at the shredded transfer order in her hand.

His demeanor was far more composed than Rachel’s…

“I’m well aware of our partnership,” Odin retorted.

“I was under the impression it was you who’d forgotten that we are equals.”

“What are you implying?”

Rising from his seat, Odin remarked, “If your intention is to secure my current position, you’d comprehend the urgency of my need to show results.”

Rachel’s eyes followed his retreating figure, her expression darkening.

Of course, she knew that.

During Victor’s tenure at Sullivan Group, the organization appeared exceptionally prosperous.

It could be argued that the Sullivan family held a prominent position among the affluent clans in Apliaria.

While many believed that the Sullivan and Jimenez families stood on equal footing, those with deeper insights recognized that the Jimenez family always played second fiddle to the Sullivan family.

Victor had set a high bar with his numerous achievements.

Now that Odin had stepped into his shoes, he needed to deliver results swiftly and outperform Victor.

Only then could the critics be silenced and Odin truly become the master of Sullivan Group.
