Trap of the King Alpha Triplet
Chapter 42 Train Her

Emily.

I couldn't help it. I burst out laughing, the absurdity of the situation finally hitting me. Here I was, some prophesied moon witch with powers I couldn't control, surrounded by three hot werewolves who were apparently my destined mates, and

we were about to go to a supernatural war council.

"Oh my god," I gasped between giggles. "This is insane. My life has turned into some kind of crazy supernatural rom-com."

The triplets exchanged glances before joining in my laughter. Even Luca, still dangling from the ceiling, was chuckling.

"Welcome to the world of the supernatural, babe," Logan said, "Seems like It's all downhill from here."

As our laughter died down, I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. "Okay. We should probably get to that meeting before I accidentally turn someone into a frog or something."

"Ooh, can you do that?" Luca asked as Leo helped him down. "Because I've got a list of people I'd love to see hopping around the manor... Especially one frog prince."

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't keep the smile off my face. "Come on, you dorks. Let's go face the music."

As we made our way to Alpha King's study, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. Whatever was coming next, at least I knew I had these three by my side.

The meeting room was packed when we arrived. Alpha King and Luna Queen sat at the head of a long table, their faces grave. My mom and Alpha Christ were there too, along with Garrett, Prince Alaric, and a bunch of important-looking werewolves I didn't recognize.

"Ah, Emily," Alpha King said as we entered. "I'm glad to see you're feeling better. Please, have a seat."

We sat down, the triplets flanking me protectively. I could feel the weight of everyone's stares, and I resisted the urge to fidget.

"Now then," Alpha King continued, his voice commanding attention. "Let's discuss what happened last night. Emily, perhaps you could start by telling us what you remember?"

I took a deep breath, trying to organize my thoughts. "Well, it's all kind of a blur, to be honest. I remember the attack starting, and then... it was like something inside me just snapped. I felt this surge of power, and suddenly I was doing things I didn't even know were possible."

"Like turning a troll to stone with magical moonlight?" Prince Alaric interjected, his eyes shining with admiration.

I took a deep breath. "Yeah, like that. I don't even know how I did it. It was pure instinct."

"Remarkable," Luna Queen murmured. "It seems your Lunar Wolf heritage is manifesting in ways we never anticipated."

"Which brings us to our next point," Alpha King said, his expression serious. "The attack last night was no random occurrence. We believe the Rogue Alliance specifically targeted Lunaris because of you, Emily." I blinked, stunned. "Me? But why?"

"There's a prophecy," Luna Queen said. "One that speaks of a child born of moon and magic, who will either unite the supernatural world... or tear it apart."

Okay, now everyone knew this shit prophecy. "And you think that's... me?" I asked, my voice small.

Alpha Christ nodded. "All signs point to it. Your unique heritage, your unprecedented powers... You're the key to something big, Emily. Something that could change everything."

I felt like I was going to be sick. "No pressure or anything," I muttered.

Leo's hand found mine under the table. I knew he was trying to reassure me.

I gave him a grateful smile, drawing strength from his touch.

"So what do we do now?" Logan asked. "How do we protect Emily and prepare for whatever's coming?"

"We train," Garrett spoke up for the first time. "Emily needs to learn to control her powers, to harness them effectively. And we need to dig deeper into this prophecy, to understand what we're really up against."

"I can help with that," Prince Alaric offered eagerly. "Our library has extensive resources on supernatural lore. I'd be happy to assist Emily in her research."

The triplets tensed beside me, low growls rumbling in their chests.

"That won't be necessary," Leo said, his voice tight. "We can handle Emily's training and research ourselves."

Prince Alaric's eyes narrowed. "With all due respect, this is bigger than pack politics or mate bonds. We need to use every resource at our disposal."

"Boys," Alpha King's voice cut through the tension like a knife. "This is not the time for territorial disputes. We must work together."

I felt a headache coming on. Great. Not only did I have to deal with newfound magical powers and a world-changing prophecy, but now I was stuck in the middle of some supernatural love polygon.

"Look," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "I appreciate everyone's help, I really do. But maybe we could focus on the immediate threat? Like, I don't know, the fact that there's an evil alliance out there trying to kidnap me or kill me or whatever?"

The room fell silent for a moment before Luna Queen spoke up. "Emily's right. We need to prioritize. First and foremost, we need to secure Lunaris against further attacks. Then we can focus on Emily's training and uncovering more about this prophecy."

Alpha King nodded. "Agreed. We'll double the patrols and strengthen our magical wards. Garrett, I want you to start working with Emily on controlling her powers. And as for the research..." He paused, looking between the triplets and Prince Alaric. "Perhaps a collaborative effort would be best. All of you can work together to uncover what we need to know."

I could practically feel the triplets' displeasure radiating off them, but they nodded grudgingly.

"Excellent," Alpha King said. "Now, there's one more matter we need to discuss. Emily, given the circumstances, we believe it would be best if you remained here in Lunaris for the time being. At least until we have a better handle on the situation."

I felt my heart sink. "But... what about school? And my friends back home?"

"We'll make arrangements," Alpha Christ assured me. "Your safety is the most important thing right now, sweetie."

I nodded, trying to swallow the lump in my throat. Everything was changing so fast, it felt like the ground was constantly shifting beneath my feet.

As the meeting wrapped up and people started to file out, I stayed seated, feeling overwhelmed by everything that had just been discussed. The triplets hovered nearby, their concern palpable. "You okay, Em?" Luca asked softly, resting a hand on my shoulder.
