At 10:00 am, Sasha entered a café in Avesburgh.
"Good morning, Mr. Glover," she greeted.
The one who had called her out was Ted.
His stature was far beyond her reach, and she had heard he had a terrifying background. Even Hugo would respectfully address him as Mr. Glover.
When she received the call last night, she was puzzled. No matter how hard she thought about it, she couldn't figure out what she had done to warrant a meeting with Ted.
"Have a seat," Ted said with a smile. "I looked around and found out that you know Felix. Your relationship with him is not ordinary."
Instantly, Sasha stood up again, her expression in complete disarray.
"Mr. Glover, let me explain. While I do know Felix, I dislike him. I would not be in touch with him if it weren't for my dad. So, whatever trouble he's caused has nothing to do with me or my family," she clarified. In her view, Felix, the big fraud, had somehow gotten on Ted's bad side. It took guts to mess with someone of his
stature.
"You misunderstood. Please have a seat." Ted tried to appear as calm as possible because Sasha was the one who had lured Felix into offending a few of his important people.
Compared to threats and inducements, cooperation from the heart was the most important.
"I do have a grudge against Felix, but I'm clear-cut. I know you two don't get along, either, so isn't the enemy of my enemy considered a friend?" he continued.
Sasha's eyes brightened, unable to suppress the joy welling up inside. She wondered if he meant that they were friends. She thought her parents would be overjoyed if they knew about this.
Any businessman would know the outrageous influence the Goldwind Chamber of Commerce wielded in Avesburgh. If she could latch onto this connection, it would be a breeze for Warren's company to take it to the next level.
"Yes, Mr. Glover. I wish Felix would just disappear. Too bad I found out he knows martial arts, so I'm really at a loss," she said.
Ted scoffed. That bastard Felix not only knew martial arts, but he was also a powerful martial artist at that. Otherwise, would he be going through all this trouble?
He then said, "Do you want him to disappear? I can make it happen. It just depends if you're willing to cooperate."
Meanwhile, Felix arrived at the Range Rover car dealership.
Since he didn't know how long he'd be living in Avesburgh, he decided to buy a car to get around. It would be more convenient than taking taxis.
In this regard, his preference had never changed. He had loved Range Rovers since he was little-the same car his father used to drive.
"Sir, what model are you interested in?" A sales associate at the entrance greeted Felix.

While he didn't look impressive to the salesperson, she acknowledged she shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The sales staff had learned to be smart, Glancing at the sales associate, Felix furrowed his brows.
The salesgirl was attractive, and the professional attire accentuated her figure. Her physique far outshone her looks.
Seeing Felix standing still, openly ogling her, the sales associate felt a secret thrill.
"I could easily manipulate this perverted customer," she thought.
However, Felix's next words left her dumbfounded.
"Get me another salesperson!"
