"What?!" Kathleen was shocked to hear Charlie's thoughts.

She simply couldn't understand it. Why was Charlie so against reuniting with his grandfather, Keith Acker?

At the same time, Kathleen received a call from one of her men. The man reported," Miss, the leader of the Ten Thousand Armies has arrived. We've led him in."

"I see," Kathleen answered, before informing Charlie, "Mr. Wade, Mr. Waldron is here."

As she spoke, the lights of the elevators flashed. After a short moment, the doors opened. Porter rushed out with the Ten Thousand Armies soldiers trailing behind him. When he saw Charlie, he immediately put his hand together and greeted Charlie respectfully, "Mr. Wade, forgive my tardiness."

The soldiers put their hands together and apologized in unison, "Forgive us!"

Charlie said indifferently, "Not at all, you all arrived very quickly."

Porter asked, "Mr. Wade, what's the situation now? What should we do?"

Charlie said, "There's one guy with all broken limbs still alive inside. I want to interrogate him. Everyone else is dead.

Properly dispose of all the bodies and clean up the bullet marks."

Porter looked aghast, but he hurriedly replied, "We'll deal with it now."

Then, he immediately led his men to the

corridor.

The corridor was completely dark, but Porter was an eight-star martial artist with extraordinary strength. As such, he could see clearly amid the darkness. When he saw the situation, he was stunned and dumbfounded.

He had fought and killed many people, but this was the first time seeing such a bloody scene.

The other Ten Thousand Armies soldiers were shocked as well. The strong stench of blood was a great discomfort to them.

Porter was the first to return to his senses. He quickly ordered, "Prepare the body bags and pack the corpses."

"Yes!" The group nodded and immediately got to work. They took out the thick black body bags from their pockets and started dealing with the bodies.

As each body was placed into a body bag, Porter's shock grew.

What shocked him most was not the men with broken limbs, or those who suicided by poison. It was the four martial artists.

All four were shot to death. They

were hit with many bullets, and their

faces were beyond recognizable. It was no exaggeration to say that there were at least thirty to forty

bullet holes in each of them. None of

their bodies were left unscathed.

From the mutilated corpses, Porter could see that one of their meridians was open. However, he couldn't determine the martial artist's rank. Most of his meridians were shattered by bullets.

When all the corpses were placed

into the body bag, Porter took the leader by the collar and stuffed him into the body bag. At the same time, he ordered his men, "This guy's still alive. Take him away alone. Mr. Wade has other uses for him."

"Yes!" His men nodded and made a mark on the body bag.

The Ten Thousand Armies soldiers acted swiftly. They packed nearly thirty bodies within just a few minutes. After that, they carried the body bags downstairs via the elevator.

They stood in the pool of blood for too long. When they came out, they left large blood-red footprints on the floor outside.

Kathleen saw that the Ten Thousand Armies soldiers were all covered in crimson, and that all emitted a strong stench of blood. Needless to say, what was inside should be obvious. She could tell that the situation inside was tragic.

Porter approached Charlie and

reported," Mr Wade, we've packed all the bodies. We'll arrange for them to be transported out of New York first, and then transport them to the high seas as soon as possible to dispose of them. As for the last man alive, I'll send him to the villa and lock him up there."
