The Lycan King's Rejected Queen
The Lycan King’s Rejected Queen Chapter 99

Alina woke up in the morning earlier. She took shower and got ready for breakfast. She had her breakfast with Alpha Rick’s parents. Because Alpha Rick and his officials were busy.

“I called the make up artists, they will prepare you today. Don’t be late honey, you have to get ready and come to the Crown ceremony in the evening.”

“I will.” Alina said and smiled at Luna Julie and Alpha Rick.

She was happy that Luna Julie had accepted her. Alpha Clark was a calm person. Alina had never seen him get angry. She thought highly of him too. He was like a father figure to her.

Alina went back to her room. When. She started to learn about Luna’s activities, she thought she would learn witch craft and win against Crystal. She only wanted to remove the allegation from her head.

Alina felt that nothing went as she assumed. All of her thoughts went wrong.

Alina heard knocks and opened the door. She saw many makeup artists come there. She recognized them by the makeup boxes in their hands.

One of them had a big bag of clothes.

“Hello, Luna.” One of those women said.

“I am not your Luna yet. Wait for today.” Alina said while smiling at them.

They chuckled and nodded at her. “As you say.”

They took out a bridal gown and gave it to her. “Miss, this is your wedding gown. Let us do your makeup first, then you will wear it.”

Alina glanced at the bridal gown. She felt scared when she saw it.? Because she wore a bridal gown before and she could not forget what happened that day.

She took a deep breath and sat on the chair in front of the dressing table.

The makeup artists were all women. They were very cheerful ladies. They talked and laughed. Sometimes made Alina laugh too.

Alina was trying to enjoy the moment. She did not know what would happen today but she was going for the best.

If she once entered the crown ceremony, no one would stop her from becoming the Luna.

Alina looked at herself in the mirror and thought about the day when she got ready by herself. That day was also her wedding day, she could not marry the man she loved.

Alina came out of her thoughts when she heard gossiping.

“I heard King Aaron has some work so he will not come here today.” A woman said.

“I only know two lucky women. One, our soon to be Luna and another, King Aaron’s soon to be Queen. Both of the kings are very powerful and high ranked wolves.” Another woman said.

All of them giggled. But Alina looked cold.

“Miss, did you mind?”

Alina shook her head. “No, I didn’t.” She said calmly.

Those women shut their mouths and didn’t talk again.

When they had done their makeup, Alina stood up and told them to go out for some time. She needed to wear her dress.

When everyone left her room she closed the door. She looked at the bridal gown for some time. She did not know why she felt strange suddenly.

She did not know what happened to her. She was feeling like something bad would happen again.

Alina went to the mirror. ‘What if he will come today to kill me?’

She shook her head. “No, Alina. You are a strong woman. You have seen many things in your life. You can not be scared of this today. You have a chance to live your life again. Let’s do this happily. Even if he comes today, he will not kill me. It will stop Rick and me from marrying because he also has some reputation.”

Alina told that to herself or convinced herself she did not know. She wanted to pass the day happily.

She turned to the bed and headed to her bridal gown. She was about to touch the dress but stopped when she heard a knock on her door.

“Maybe I took so much time.” Alina thought it was a makeup artist who was knocking on the door.

She opened the door but saw a guard standing out of her room.

“Yes?” She asked. The guard was a pack fighter. She could see his badge. By looking at it, Alina could understand that he was one of the loyal guards of Alpha.

The guard examined around his both sides and then looked at her.

“I have something to say.” He said.

“Yes, you can tell me.” Alina replied. She was confused by his behavior as if he was a spy and came on a mission.

The guard nodded at her and entered her room before Alina told her to enter.

Alina was stunned by his sudden action.

“What are you doing?” She asked angrily.

The guard did not care what she was saying to him. He closed the door and turned to her.

Alina thought he was a perverted man. She frowned at him and folded her hands against her chest.

“What? What are you trying to do? Do you have any manners? Do you even know who I am? Should I complain about you to your Alpha?”

The guard shook her head and bowed to her.

Alina glared at him.

“Please Forgive me, miss brown.”

Alina’s eyes widened. ‘How did he know my surname?’

“Who are you?” She asked.

The guard looked down and replied,

“I came here because of an important reason. Here is the phone.”

Alina was baffled. “Phone? What would I do with it?”

“Please take this. My lord will call you now. He wants to talk to you.”

Alina sighed and shook her head. She guessed that Alpha Rick was the one who sent his guards to her.

‘This man! What happened to him suddenly? We will meet in one hour. He sent his guard to give me a phone so that I can talk with him. Such a childish man!’

Alina smiled while thinking about that. She heard the phone ring.

She took the phone from the guard and received the call.

“What happened to you, Rick?” She asked while smiling.

But she heard another voice that faded her smile away and shivers ran through her whole body.

“MEET ME IN TEN MINUTES IN THE FOREST SIDE, DON’T MAKE ME WAIT, DARLING.”
