Days were passing very fast.

Alina was looking at herself in the mirror. She was thinking about Aaron’s warning.

“Only two days left. I don’t know if everything will be okay or not. I am scared again.” She told herself.

She had been preparing herself for tonight. She would do something with the help of the royal witch Melissa.

She was just hoping to succeed.

“Young miss, Alpha called you in the living room. Everyone is there. They are waiting for you.” A maid went to her room and said to her,

“Waiting for me?”

The maid nodded at her. “He called all of us too. He will announce something today.”

Alina looked confused. ‘What announcement?’

She went to the living room and saw Alpha Rick talking with his parents and his officials.

All the maids were standing around them listening to him carefully.

When Alpha Rick saw Alina coming there, he stood up. “Come here.”

Alina went to him. Alpha Rick sat on the couch and Alina sat beside him.

“What happened? Is everything okay?” Alina asked Alpha Rick.

Alpha Rick nodded his head and looked at his parents.

“I called you all to announce the Crown & Mating ceremony.”

Everyone was shocked, including Alina.

‘Crown ceremony? Mating Ceremony? So suddenly?’

“When?” Alpha Clark asked.

Alpha Rick replied, “The day after tomorrow.”

Everyone gasped except his officials.

“The day after tomorrow? What are you saying? Are you serious?” Luna Julie asked.

“Yes, Mom. I am serious.”

“Why so sudden, my child? How will we arrange everything? You are not a simple man but the head Alpha of this pack. At your wedding, the whole pack will be decorated and celebrated. Is it possible in two days?”

“I have sent invitations to other Alphas and don’t worry about arrangements. In one day everything will be set up.”

“Why are you in a hurry? Is there any matter you don’t want to share?” Alpha Clark asked.

“No, dad. I just want to marry her as soon as possible.” Alpha Rick said while peeking at Alina’s reaction.

All the maids went back to work but they would have to work double time because it was their head Alpha’s wedding.

The Crown ceremony was a ceremony where A king gave his Queen’s position to a woman and declared her as his Queen.

Alina told Alpha Rick that she wanted to talk with him.

When she took him outside she asked,

“Why did you decide that suddenly?”

Alpha Rick stared at her.”Why aren’t you happy?”

Alina frowned at him. “It is not about happiness, it is about my criminal record. I haven’t proven myself innocent yet. Will it not have an effect on your pack?”

“When I told you that I will make you my Luna, did you think about this matter at that time? No, Alina. You did not think about it.”

Alina shook her head. “That time was different, Rick. You know he gave me one week to prove myself. Only two days are left. Tonight I will go to Melissa. And we planned something which will give us success.

I am hoping I can do what he will tell me to do. Otherwise, I will die for sure, Rick.” Alina said and looked down.

Alpha Rick patted her head. “You called me your friend and at the same time you don’t believe me?”

Alina looked up at her. She shook her head. “No, it’s not like that. I was thinking about you and your pack.”

“And I was thinking about you.”

“What do you mean?”

“Tonight you will go to Melissa, success or failure you will come tomorrow. So we should marry the day after tomorrow. King Aaron can not do anything to another pack’s Luna. Because he has already visited my place and didn’t take any action against you. So if he makes any allegation against you, no one will support him. Everyone will think that he is only disturbing a pack’s Luna. So marrying me is the last choice for you.”

Alina at first didn’t get what he was saying but after Alpha Rick explained to her, she understood what he was trying to do. He wanted to make her this pack’s Luna, so even if she could not get the success, she would not get killed by him.

Alina smiled at Alpha Rick.

“I have met a few good people in my life. You, Beta Max, and Beta Lucas are the best. You all are helping me without any reason. Thanks a lot, Rick.”

Alpha Rick smiled at her. “It’s okay. You don’t have to say sorry. After two days you will become my Luna anyway.”

Alina smiled at him. In her eyes, Alpha Rick was the best man in the world. Who was sheltering her and wanted to give her the best position in the pack?

Meanwhile in Lycan Territory,

Delta Darren came to meet King Aaron. He was working in his office when Delta Darren came to meet him.

“Darren, what happened?” He asked.

Delta Darren was silent for some time then cleared his throat.

“Aaron, you said to inform you about Aina.”

Aaron paused working and looked up at Delta Darren who was still standing in front of his desk.

“What happened?”

Delta Darren said nervously to him.

“There is a news that I came here to report to you.”

“Stop beating around the bush, Darren.”

Delta Darren just knew about Alpha Rick and Alina marrying each other. But he did not know how he could tell Aaron about this. He was afraid that he would do something or destroy something.

“What? Cat caught your tongue? Did that woman do something shameful again?”

Delta Darren closed his eyes and took a deep break.

“Alpha Rick announced that he will marry Alina the day after tomorrow. There will be a Crown and Mating Ceremony too. But we are not invited for any.”

Delta Darren thought Aaron would react badly but looking at his smirking face, Darren got that this man had back to himself.

Aaron leaned against his chair and replied,

“Let them do whatever they want to do.,”
