“SHE IS MY MATE.”

Alina turned to his side totally and looked at him with her wide eyes.

“A-Are you serious?”

Alpha Rick only looked at the woman who was looking unaffected. He frowned at her. He could feel her scent. She was a Lycan.

Alina was just staring at Alpha Rick.

Meanwhile,

The man who just entered the pack house, looked at the scene in front of him. He looked infuriated.

He was none other than King Aaron. He smelled Alina’s scent when he was in his car. At first, he was shocked. But then he got down and wanted to see the truth.

The truth was in front of him. The woman who killed his father was alive and here she was standing in front of him while holding another man’s hand.

Aaron thought about the night when he was out of the pack and Lucas called him to tell him about the cabin of the dungeon where Alina stayed in.

He said that the whole cabin was burned and the woman who was inside the cabin also died.

He immediately came back to the pack house that night when he got the information. He asked others about it and they also told him that Lucas was telling him the truth.

That night he felt broken again. He knew he gave her the punishment of death. But still, the hatred was more like distress for him.

That night he told himself that he needed to forget the woman who did not care for him and killed his father. All evidence was against her. The biggest eye witness was his mother. When his mother kept telling him that Alina killed his father that time there was a zero chance that Alina was innocent.

She killed his father because she wanted to be the Queen of his realm. Otherwise, why would she kill his father? He was going to marry him and everyone knew that, he knew that, then why?

Of course, it was because she wanted to become the Queen. She was not like others, but she was worse than others.

Other women were greedy but they might not think to kill his father because they knew the power he held.

But this woman? She killed his father in the blink of an eye. She did not think about his feelings for a single time. He just hated her.

She dared to run away, that was the only thing rushing in his mind.

“King Aaron.” Beta Max greeted Aaron.

Alina turned her head to Aaron and their eyes met.

Alina felt shivers on her spine. She was almost shaken but regained herself and grabbed Rick’s hand tight.

Alpha Rick’s mind was out of the context. But when he felt Alina’s grip, he came out of his thoughts and looked at King Aaron.

Aaron did not reply to anyone. He was just looking at Alina. His eyes were dark. He looked like he could kill anyone here.

Aaron turned his head to Beta Lucas and glared at him. Beta Lucas looked down and approved that he was the one who helped her.

Aaron tightened his fists and glared at Alpha Rick.

Alpha Rick held Alina’s hand and walked to King Aaron.

“Welcome to my pack, King Aaron.”? Alpha Rick said, totally ignoring his mate.

Alina did not look down, she even looked into Aaron’s eyes. Her eyes had the fear which was growing all these months.

Aaron did not reply. He looked at their joints. Alpha Rick smiled at him and said,

“Let’s go and talk, I see you came here with your soon to be Queen.”

This time Alpha Rick and Alina both looked at the woman who was standing next to King Aaron.

She looked down as if she was hiding something.

Alpha Rick and Alina both knew what she was hiding. She was hiding that she had found her mate. She did not want to tell that to anyone, especially not King Aaron.

Because who would choose any man over King Aaron? He was the most powerful man and dominant king in werewolf history.

Alina observed them and saw that woman was staring at the floor as if it was the most interesting thing in the whole pack house.

King Aaron held the woman’s waist and replied,

“Selena, greet the Alpha of this pack.”

Alina glanced at his hand on the woman named Selena’s waist.

Alina felt a severe pain in her heart. She did not want to see this.

‘Alina, You don’t care whom he will be going to start his life with. You don’t care at all. All you have to do is just stand beside Rick, that’s it. This king Aaron is the main reason for your sadness. Don’t forget what he did three and two weeks ago. Don’t forget that you almost died because you were tricked by a bad witch. It was not your fault. You were nothing to him. You were just your servant. He broke your heart first, then he broke your trust.

I could understand him if he tried to find out the truth. But all he did was permit his guards to kill me. He even took me to the dungeon. He didn’t come to me for once.

It was not loving but just the mate bond which pulled you to me. All the time we spent together with each other was unreal. Everything was fake. You are a fake, Aaron Roberson.’ Alina thought and cursed him in her mind.

“He-Hello Alpha Rick, I am Selena. King Aaron’s chosen mate.” Selena said while looking down. She scolded herself for stuttering. She was a Lycan but it was tough to control herself in front of her mate.

Alpha Rick stared at her for a moment then nodded at her.

“Nice to meet you, young lady.”

He then turned his head to Alina and let out his hand. Alina was surprised by his sudden action.

But then Rick put his hand around her shoulder and looked at King Aaron.

“MEET MY SOON TO BE LUNA, ALINA BROWN.”
