The next day,

Alina woke up. She did not go downstairs but stood beside the window of her new room.

She looked outside. The beautiful morning nature came to see in her eyes.

She felt strange here.? This was not her place. She made the decision in a hurry.

‘What am I doing? Am I doing the right thing? Will I be able to prove myself? What about this pack? Can I handle this pack? What about Rick’s father and mother? I don’t think they like me at all. Why did they suddenly start to dislike me? Did I say something that hurt them or something that I should have not said?’

She was in her thoughts when she heard a knock on her door.

She went to open the door. Beta Max was standing outside of her room.

“Good morning.” He said.

“Good morning.” Alina replied.

“I came here to ask you about breakfast. Alpha Rick said from today you will start to learn everything about Luna’s activities.” Beta Max said and his eyes fell on her legs which were not bandaged anymore.

“Are your legs okay now?”

Alina nodded at him. “Yeah, I am totally fine now.”

“Okay, let’s go. I have to introduce you to everyone.”

“Everyone?”

“Yeah. everyone who will teach you and help you to become a perfect Luna.”

“Let’s go.”

Alina went downstairs. She had breakfast with Rick and his family. Some of his officials were there.

She thought about the times when she was in the Lycan Manor or everyone called pack house. How she stayed there and everyone ate together.

She missed Aaron’s mother Daisy. She was a good woman. She cared about a lot. She gave her motherly love. She would not blame her for her husband’s death if Crystal did not play with her mind. Alina believed that Daisy was innocent here, she lost her husband and at the same time, she got played.

Alina looked at Rick and thought about Aaron. Her fists tightened.

‘Why can’t I just forget you? Why? You gave me the sentence of death but still, I am thinking about you. I don’t know what will happen if you find out that I am alive. Did Alex tell everyone about me? What will happen to me?’

Alpha Rick looked at her. “What? Do you need something?”

He saw that Alina was staring at him so he asked her if she wanted something.

Alina shook her head. “No, I don’t need anything.”

Alpha Rick stared at her for some time and looked away. Then he spoke,

“Beta Max will take you to everyone who is going to assist you with your future responsibilities. So work hard and don’t disappoint me.”

Alina nodded her head. “Yes, I will work hard.”

Hearing that Former Alpha Clark and Luna Julie did not like it.

They did not want this woman to become their son’s Luna. Julie could see that she was not good for her son.

After breakfast,

Beta Max introduced Alina to every official. He took her to an ancient teacher. He will help her with manners and learning rules.

Then Beta Max introduced her to the Gamma of the pack. He will train her personally so that she would become a good fighter.

Meeting everyone was good but Alina stopped Beta Max and said,

“I need something else.”

Beta Max frowned. “Want? What do you want?”

“I want to meet your royal witch.”

Beta Max’s eyes widened. “Why do you want to meet her?”

Alina looked at him and shook her head. “No, I can’t tell you now. But I promise I am not thinking of any evil doing. I only want to know something.”

Beta Max nodded to her. “Okay, but we have to meet her during the day time.”

“Why?” Alina asked in confusion.

“Because they practiced at night time.”

“Then can I meet her now?”

“Let’s go.”

Beta Max took her to an old house. He knocked on the door of that house.

A middle aged woman opened the door.

“Beta Max!” She bowed to him. She was surprised that the Beta of the pack just came to meet her.

“This is our guest who came here from Lycan Territory.”

“Ly-Lycan Te-Terittoty!” The woman stuttered.

“Yeah, Lycan. Territory. Now it’s your responsibility to take care of her until I come back. I will come in twenty minutes. She needs something to talk to you about. Answer her correctly and don’t disobey her. She will be the Luna of your pack.”

“Luna?” The woman was shocked to hear that.

Beta Max left them alone. He thought Alina would ask her something personal so he gave her some space.

“Please come.”

Alina went inside and sat on her bed. It was a one room house.

“Beta Max told me who I was going to be, right?”

The woman was nodding her head. “Yes, Yes, my Luna.”

“I am not your Luna yet. But to become the perfect Luna, you have to help me.”

“I will help you. Just order what this simple creature can help you.”

Alina thought about Crystal whose mother Chloe was also a royal witch. She remembered that Crystal’s Aunt Darcy was also a powerful witch. They both did all of this.

“Do you know Darcy?” Alina asked.

The woman was stunned. “How do you know that?”

“I want to know about her and her sister.”

The woman was confused. “Why do you need to talk about her and her sister?”

“I know they are very powerful witches. They did some crime by playing a trick of mind games.”

The woman was shocked. “What are you saying? They commit a crime?”

Alina nodded at her.

“How can I help you?”

Alina looked at her. She wanted to ask her if she also could be a witch or not. Otherwise, how could she prove herself? Wasn’t it kind of an impossible matter?

“What if I learn something from you?”

“Learn something from me??” The woman asked her confusingly.

Alina then nodded at her and replied,

“YES, I WANT TO LEARN YOUR BEST WITCH CRAFTS THAT ONLY YOU HAVE DISCOVERED AND ONLY YOU KNOW ABOUT.”
