“A-Alpha Rick!”

Alpha Rick stared at her. He did not believe two weeks ago when his Beta, Max said that he saw Alina. He even told him that she was in the hospital.

But when he came here that day he believed him. He was shocked when he saw her condition. Her body was full of wounds. She looked fragile and almost died.

Alpha Rick came to see her twice a week. Today he was passing the hospital so he told his driver to stop the car and he came to visit her.

Pack doctor Liam had told him many days ago about her condition. Liam had told him that she would wake up soon but it had been two weeks since she was unconscious. So he thought she had not woken up yet.

But when he heard her voice before entering the cabin, he heard her asking Liam about the pack.

Alpha Rick looked at Doctor Liam. Doctor Liam nodded at him and left the cabin.

Alina was staring at him. ‘Will he kill me? I behaved rudely with him.’

“Don’t worry I will not kill you.” He replied.

“D-Did you read my mind?”

“You thought too loudly.” He said and sat on the tool beside the bed.

Alina felt uncomfortable. “I am sorry I came here.”

“I want simple answers.”

Alina turned her head to him. “About what?”

“About you and your life.”

“What do you mean?”

“I want to know what happened that you had to run away from that pack?”

Alina looked down. She could not just tell him that her mate gave her the punisher of death and her best friend betrayed her. She killed someone and framed her for that sin.

“Tell me.”

“I don’t know.”

“What happened to your marriage?”

Alina looked up at him. “Y-You knew?”

“Me? Everyone knew that the Lycan King was going to marry an Omega. But I guessed which Omega he was going to marry.

So what happened that you had to leave him?”

“I can’t tell you. I just saved my life by coming here.”

Alpha Rick looked like thinking about something then he said,

“How can I let you live here?”

“If you don’t want me to live here then I can leave this pack and go somewhere else.”

“Do you know what you are now? You are now a rogue. If any pack’s Alpha asks you about your pack what will you reply? He has to talk to your former Alpha about you then he can accept you as his pack member.”

Alina was stunned. She didn’t know about these things. She was not aware of any of that. She did not know the rules and conditions of packs. She lived in her home for a long time and then she went abroad. In childhood, her parents did not let her be involved outside except for study. And when she grew up she had to leave the pack for higher study. That was why she was not aware of anything.

Alina tightened her fists. She had no option right now. What would he do now? If they sent her to King Aaron, he would kill her immediately.

“What will I do now?” She mumbled to herself.

But Alpha Rick heard her clearly. He stared at the woman who was trying to find a solution but could not get any.

“I have an option but you need to think about it. There is no hurry. But I want everything hurriedly.”

Alina glanced at him. She thought, ‘What option does he have? This man is not good. He is a playboy and a lazy person. He has played with countless girls and did not want to be the Alpha King because of his laziness. But what option can he give me?’

She wanted to ask him about it but another man came inside. His reaction was the same as the doctor’s.

“You wake up?? When?” He asked.

Alina remembered this man. He came to her pack with Alpha Rick last time. He was Alpha Rick’s Beta, Beta Max.

“You don’t know me. I am Beta Max.” He introduced himself.

“I know you. You came to my pack last time.”

“Yeah. So you remembered.”

Alina nodded her head.

“How are you feeling now?”

“I am feeling pain in my legs but other than that I am okay.”

“That’s good. I was shocked when I saw it in the forest. Our guards called me and told me about you.”

“So you are the one who saved me and took me here, in the hospital?”

“Yes.” Beta Max replied. He turned to Alpha Rick and saw he was looking at Alina.

Beta Max cleared his throat and grabbed Alpha Rick’s attention.

“Alpha told you to go to the pack house soon. He said he does not want anything but only one thing and you can not even do that for him. He wants your answer, otherwise, he said he will manage everything and you can not say No to him.”

Alpha Rock glared at him. He said all the things in front of a stranger.

Beta Max felt sorry. “I should have waited for you to come outside before telling this. I am sorry Rick.”

Alpha Rick shook his head. “It’s okay. You have always said all of this in front of the girl.”

Alina was confused by what Beta Max was saying. She could not understand.

“Can you please tell me about what I should do to stay here in this pack?’

Alpha Rick looked at her. He did not want to talk about this matter in front of anyone but Beta Max was exceptional. He was his best friend. In fact, every king’s best friend was their Beta.

“Do you want to stay in my pack?” Alpha Rick asked.

“Yes, I want to.”

“Are you sure? You will not say that you want to go back in one week?”

“No, I will not. I am sure. Just tell me about the other option that lets me stay in this pack.”

“BE MY LUNA.”
