“ONE WEEK.”

Alina closed her eyes and looked down. She knew that she could not meet him when she would leave the pack.

“One week? But we will go back to our university in one week, my king.” Crystal said sadly.

Aaron looked at Crystal and then his eyes fell on Alina’s expression. She looked upset.

“I will try to come back soon.” Aaron replied.

Crystal’s eyes delighted and she smiled at Aaron.

Alina looked up at Aaron and her eyes met his eyes.

She blinked a few times. She was nervous looking at him. But she felt happy that he was looking at her.

After finishing breakfast, Aaron and other officials left the pack house.

Before leaving the pack house, when everyone was busy talking with Aaron, Delta Darren came to Alina and told her that he informed Aaron about Daisy’s request to her. Aaron heard that and agreed to go to the dining room. Darren even told her that he went there because of her.

Alina sighed and sat on the couch after all of them left. She would miss her mate so much in this one week.

“Alina”

Alina turned to the side where Crystal was sitting.

“Hmm?”

“Why did Aaron call you today?”

“H-He called me for-“

“It’s okay, Alina, You don’t have to say something that the king told you.” Daisy interrupted Alina from telling anything to Crystal.

Crystal looked away from Alina and tightened her fists. ‘This woman always came between me and Alina. Does she forget that she is not the Queen anymore and I will be the Royal witch soon? Does she have any doubt about my power?’

Alina smiled nervously. She wanted to tell everything to Crystal but how could she say anything in front of Daisy.

However, she remembered Aaron’s warning. Aaron told her not to tell anything to anyone. She was confused between her decision and Aaron’s decision. She could not hide this from Crystal anymore.

She would tell her everything today, by hook or by crook.

She felt sad about her fate. Her fate was playing with her. Her mate was her best friend’s love. How would Crystal react when she would get to know about it?

Alina thought she would leave Aaron and Crystal to live happily before. But then Aaron told her he would not let her go. Now he told her today that he did not want to reject her anymore.

Alina was facing problems with both sides. One side was her mate and another side was her best friend.

That day Crystal did not ask her about Aaron again and Alina spent all of her time in her room. She waited for her parents’ call. She did not call them because the man told her that he would tell his father to call her back.

At night after dinner, Alina came back to her room.

She changed her clothes and wore a night dress.

She laid down on her bed and was about to sleep when she heard her phone’s ring.

She immediately took her phone and thought her parents sent her a message.

But she saw there was an unknown number.

She clicked on the message.

‘Are you awake?’

Alina frowned at the message. Who was sending her message at this time? Was the sender sending this message to the wrong number?

She sent a message back.

‘Who are you?’

‘Why didn’t you sleep yet?’

Alina was stunned. The sender sent a reply so fast as if he or she was waiting for her reply. The sender did not answer her but again asked her another question.

‘First tell me, Who are you?’

‘Who do you think I am?’

Alina was confused. She did not give her number to everyone. Only her parent’s number and Crystal’s number were in her call list. Then some people from her part time jobs were in her phonebook.

She remembered a junior who tried to contact her all the time but she told him not to contact her anymore.

‘Ian?’

Alina replied with the young boy’s name. When she saw the sender did not send her any other messages she clearly understood that it was the junior year student Ian who sent her messages.

She put her phone aside and tried to sleep but her phone rang loudly. This time there was not one ring but the phone was ringing continuously.

Alina grabbed her phone and saw that Ian boy’s number was floating on her phone screen.

She sighed and put the phone on the bed.

She did not want to talk with him.

She was a waitress in her university’s cafeteria. In fact all the waiters and waitresses were the university’s students. So it was easy for Alina to get the job.

Three years ago when she was at her university,

She was doing her job when a boy came to the cafeteria with his bad boy aura.

It was Ian, the new bad boy of her university. He was a first year student and a rich brat. When he came to give orders for food. He saw Alina.

Alina looked more young that time. So the boy thought she was a new student like him.

That boy came to the cafe everyday for her and one day figured out her number.

She told him that She was his senior and she was not interested in him at all. After that day, He tried to contact her many times but she blocked his every number.

Alina came out of her thoughts when she heard another ring of her phone.

She took her phone and saw the sender again called her. She knew it was Ian.

She wanted to receive the call this time. She wanted to scold him hard. She told him that she was not interested but this young boy was trying to disturb her again.

Alina picked up the call and said,

“Why are you calling me, Ian? I know it’s you.”

There was silence on the other side of the phone.

Alina asked, “Ian?”

The sender spoke with a deep voice that could shake anyone from the core.

“WHO IS IAN?”
