The Lycan King’s Rejected Queen Chapter 43

“What if I tell you, I DON’T WANT TO REJECT YOU ANYMORE?”

Alina moved away her face and looked at Aaron.

“A-Are you telling me the truth?” She asked with her shaken tone.

They were very close to each other’s faces. Aaron’s eyes fell on her lips which were looking glossy to him.

Then his eyes went to her beautiful eyes.

“Why? Don’t you want it? Do you fall for another man?” Aaron whispered in her lips.

Alina did not know what to reply. She was frozen there, in his lap. He was telling her that he did not want to reject her? Did he mean he would accept her??

Alina was about to ask but heard another voice.

“Aaron it’s time for us-“

Beta Lucas was coming there but stopped when he looked at the scene in front of him. He immediately turned back.

“F**k! I-I am so sorry guys.” He wanted to slap himself for coming here. He did not know his best friend had already developed his relationship with his mate so fastly.

Alina immediately pushed Aaron and ran from the Palace. Her cheeks were looking like red tomatoes in embarrassment and Beta Lucas shook his head.

He turned to Aaron and saw him looking at the corner from where Alina just went out.

Aaron was thinking about what he just said to her. He was not wrong though. He wanted this woman for himself. She saw his real side but still looked worried about his pain. She was mysterious to him.

“I am sorry, buddy. I interrupted your lovey-dovey moment.” Beta Lucas said and went to him.

“Your reason must be good enough to fulfill your punishment.” Aaron said and turned his head to Beta Lucas.

“Oh, come on, Lycan. You will punish me and I will beat you hard. Let’s play today.” Beta Lucas said and winked at him.

They were best friends. They never got angry at each other. It was not like they did not argue in their whole lives but they quarreled a little. They believed each other a lot, so there was no room for argument.

Aaron rolled his eyes at his wink. “What happened?”

“It’s time for us to go.” Beta Lucas said.

“Okay.”

They were going outside of the pack for some important pack work.

In Alina’s room,

Alina was blushing hard. She patted her cheeks and looked at the mirror.

She looked at her neck and she could see faded hickeys. The makeup hid those well. But that could not be unnoticed by The King Aaron. He watched it.

Alina was thinking about what he told her a few minutes ago. She was thinking whether he was serious about it or not. What if he was teasing her to see her reaction?

Alina looked at herself and said,

“Is he serious? Is he going to accept me? But he didn’t say that. He just said he doesn’t want to reject me anymore.”

Then Alina went to the bed and sat there.

“But doesn’t that mean he wants to accept me? Is he okay with me now? The way he pulled me to him today…”

Alina looked like a girl who used the whole palette of blush on her face.

She put both palms on her face. “AAAAHH!! King Aaron you are driving me crazy. Why did you say that? Now I want to know more about it.”

Alina thought about what her life would be like if he accepted her. They would live a happy life together forever. He would teach her how to be a perfect Queen.

Alina promised herself that she would try her best and practiced hard for being a perfect Queen.

“What am I thinking? He did not say that he would accept me. Why am I thinking this?”

Alina laid down on her bed and began to play on her phone.

She got something in her mind and dialed her father’s phone number.

The call connected as usual but this time the call had been received.

Alina sat up on bed. “Hello? Father?”

Another voice spoke from the other side of the phone. “Who are you?” The man asked.

Alina frowned and moved her phone from her ear. She looked at the number that she dialed. It was her father’s number, but who received the call?

“I am Alina Brown. Can I talk with Hayden Brown?” Alina said.

“Oh, you are his daughter? He is out of the house now. He left his phone here. When he comes, I will tell him to call you.” The man replied.

When Alina heard ‘house’ she wanted to ask about her mother but before she could ask anything the man hung up the call.

Alina stared at her phone. ‘Where are they? Why don’t they receive my call? Don’t they want to talk with their daughter?’

Alina laid down again. She felt tired suddenly so she wanted to sleep for an hour.

In her dream,

She saw she was with Aaron. They were in the forest happily walking and feeling the nature. Alina looked at Aaron and hugged him. Aaron hugged her back and together they were looking like a lovely couple.

Suddenly someone came from behind and pushed Alina hard. Alina felt a sharp pain and looked up at the person.

It was Crystal. Her best friend. She looked very angry as if she would kill Alina anytime.

“I called you my best friend but what did you do? You snatched the love of my life from me?”

Alina wanted to say that she did not do anything; it was her fate that made Aaron her mate. She wanted to explain and convinced her about her and Aaron’s mate bond. She did not want her best friend angry with her.

But Crystal did not look like she would like to hear anything.

Alina said, “Let me explain to you, Crystal.”

Crystal shook her head. Her eyes were glowing green. She looked fierce. She bent down in front of Alina and whispered to her,

“You Will Pay For It, Alina.”
