“What If I Say Yes?”

Daisy was stunned. She could not believe that he admitted it in his own mouth.

“So your father was telling the truth. You like her.”

Aaron came out of his thoughts. He did not know how did he reply that. He felt like he was in a maze.

“Mom. Don’t think about it much. I didn’t say I like her. She is Crystal’s best friend and Crystal is one of our family members. So I care for her just like I care for Crystal.” Aaron replied.

Daisy didn’t like her son talking about Crystal. But she did not stretch this matter.

“What happened to her, Aaron?”

“I saw some boys were running after her. So I helped her to come back here.” Aaron said while tightening his jaw.

Daisy could see how angry Aaron was. “It’s good that you were with her that time. But Aaron, I am worried for her. You will not always be with her. I just hope her mate will find her soon and give her a good life. She is a poor child. Her parents did not behave well with her all this time. So I think it’s better if she finds her fated mate soon.”

Daisy intentionally talked about Alina’s mate to see her son’s response. But surprisingly her son did not retort about it. He looked confused about something.

Daisy went close to her son and patted his shoulder. “You know Aaron, When I was busy with my schedules as a Queen, I always tried to give you some time. So that you would not feel lonely. You always came to me if you needed something or if you had something in your mind. Now our situation is the opposite. You have tried to give me and your father time so that we will not feel lonely. But my son, who will listen to you? We have you but who do you have? You don’t share anything with us. You stopped sharing your thoughts. Why? You have us. You have me. I don’t know about your father. But you have me. If you have anything to talk about, just come to me. I will show the path, because once I was a successful Queen too. Listening to his mother. Aaron stared at Daisy. He did not understand what she was trying to tell him but he was feeling relaxed hearing his mother. That was why he always loved his mother more than his father. Because his mother never forgot him even though she was very busy.

“I get it mom. Thanks for your support. I Know you are always with me no matter what.” Aaron replied.

Daisy nodded and stroked his hair. Her son was so big now. He was not that little child of hers, who always came to her to learn about royal things.

After talking with Daisy, Aaron went to his residence palace. He did not go to his room but to his office.

He called Theta Cooper.

“I am coming with Crystal.”

“Don’t come.”

“What do you mean?” Theta Cooper asked.

He thought Aaron was so angry that he did not let him enter the pack house. After all, Alina was his mate and soon-to-be Queen.

“Just go and collect the CCTV footage when Alina went to the washroom and after she left the washroom. I want every footage of outside the washroom. “

Theta Cooper was startled by Aaron’s words. ‘Why does he need CCTV footage? Wasn’t he with Alina? What about the footage?’ He thought but kept his thoughts to himself.

“Okay, I get it.”

Crystal looked at Theta Cooper. “Where is Alina? Why didn’t you tell me where is she?” She asked.

Crystal was watching the movie when Theta Cooper left for Alina. But he came back to the hall alone. When she asked him why he come back alone. He told her that Alina had left already.

“She went back to the pack house.” Theta Cooper replied.

“How? She doesn’t know the path.”

“Maybe she is not feeling well that’s why. Maybe she did not want to disturb you, so she took a cab and left.”

“You should tell me that she was not feeling well.”

“She wanted you to enjoy the movie.”

Theta Cooper explained to her. He did not tell her about Aaron had come here and taken Alina with him.

He knew this woman liked Aaron. Not only him but also all the officials knew about it.

So he did not want to create any problem between two best friends.

“I think we should go back.” Daisy said.

“Yeah. You know the way right? Just take a cab and go back to the pack house.”

“Why? Aren’t you coming back?”

“No, I have some work. You go first.”

Daisy knew he was a very busy man. So she nodded at him and left the cineplex.

Theta Cooper went to the Office room of the Cineplex. When they recognized him, the manager was surprised and happy that the Theta of the pack came here.

“Sir, please come and sit. What would you like to take?” The manager asked Theta Cooper if he liked to take any drinks or not.

“I want CCTV footage.”

Hearing him, the manager was stunned. But he could not deny him.

“Yeah yeah sure. What time? Can you tell me the time?”

Then Theta Cooper told him the time of the movie’s break time. That was the time when Alina left the cinema hall for the washroom.

The manager took him to their camera room and showed him the footage.

When Theta Cooper saw the footage, his eyes went dark.

“Looks like some people have really good luck today that they will be killed by the King Aaron.”
