“M-Mate?”

Alina was stunned and looked at Aaron with her teary eyes. She did not think more and hugged him tightly.

Aaron said to the driver. “Start the car.”

“Yes, My King.” The driver replied and started the car.

Arron did not forget to see those boys who were running behind his car until the car drove fast and their faces were not visible anymore.

He looked down at Alina who was shaking and sobbing.

Today morning, he told Shaline to tell her to come to his garden after dinner. Then he went to his room and got ready because he had some work outside the pack house.

When he finished his work he saw a message popped up on his phone. He opened the text and saw Cooper sent him a message. He was with Alina in the Cineplex to watch a movie.

That time, Aaron at first ignored the message and wanted to go back to the pack house. But then suddenly he told his driver to go to the pack house from the way beside Cineplex. From there it took time to go back to the pack house. But he did not know why he took this long way.

When his car crossed the road he saw a girl running like a crazy girl. He saw it was none other than his mate, Alina. He ordered his driver to turn the car and went behind the girl.

Now he looked at Alina and thought he came here to help her.

Alina grabbed his suit tightly as if someone would snatch him away from her.

Aaron put his arm around her and pulled her closer.

Alina felt that and looked up at Aaron.

Aaron was staring at her for some time. They did not break their eye contact.

The car was silent. Aaron broke the silence and asked,

“What happened?” His deep voice shivered down her spine.

Alina tried to move away but his arm could not let her move.

“T-They..” Alina did not know how to explain it to him.

“They? Who?”

“Some boys came after m-me and t-tried to m-molest me.” Alina said and sobbed.

Aaron’s eyes went dark but he did not say anything, he pulled her head to his chest and stroked her hair.

“Are you okay?” He asked softly.

Alina nodded her head while hiding her face in his chest.

Aaron’s smell made her calm down. She was feeling relaxed in his chest. She felt safe now. She felt it was the most safe place in the world for her.

The driver was watching them from time to time through the rear mirror. He was confused about his king’s behavior.

‘What happens to King Aaron? He had never behaved so softly towards anyone. He just talked to this girl so softly. Who is she? Is she the special Omega girl whom everyone in the pack is talking about?’

Aaron saw the driver was looking at them from the mirror. He glared at the driver. The driver immediately looked away from the mirror in fear and focused on the road.

Alina felt sleepy in his arms. She did not sleep well last night and only cried. But she tried to live her life today happily, However, she did not know what was waiting for her today.

She snuggled her nose on his chest and smelled his scent and cologne together. It was making her mind calm.

After a few minutes of silence, Aaron heard soft snores. He looked at Alina and saw her sleeping peacefully.

He stared at her. This woman was strange. Always behaved like a child but did not know how to face danger. She was weak but still, she tried her best to run away from those boys.

Aaron was stroking her hair, but his finger felt wet. He frowned and looked at his fingers. He saw b***d on his finger.

His face looked fierce. He slowly pushed her hair from her neck and tried to see where the b***d was coming from.

He saw she had a deep wound on her neck. B***d was coming from her neck. He slightly touched the wound and Alina hissed in pain.

She was sleeping but the sudden pain woke her up.

She tried to sit up but Aaron did not let her.

“You are tired. Just sleep for a while. When we reach the pack house, I will wake you up.”

Alina wanted to move but hearing him she nodded.

For some reason, she wanted to feel his warmth. She had never gone close to any man before. So she did not know what it felt like.

Aaron felt her grip tighten around him. He did not know why he gave his chest to this girl to lean on.

Was that really the mate bond? But he did not open his mind link for her to contact him. Then how did he come here and how was she in danger at the same time?

Aaron did not believe in destiny. But he could not deny his fate all the time.

No matter how much he tried to stay away from this woman. He always came to her by himself.

He was getting angry at himself that he was feeling like this for her.

But when he saw her condition while running on the road, he felt like someone was stabbing his heart. He was shocked and feeling restless. He wanted to know who created this situation for her.

He sighed and took out his phone from his pocket and called Cooper.

After three rings Cooper received the call.

“Where are you?” Aaron asked.

“A-Aaron, A-Alina is missing. She told us she was going to use the washroom but it had been twenty minutes since she had not come back yet. I went to check the washroom and there was no one inside.” Cooper said with a shaken voice.

Aaron wanted to scold him about why he left her alone. But he heard a soft voice,

“It was not his fault. Don’t be angry with him, Please Mate.”
