The weekend came so fast. It had been two weeks since Alina came back to the pack. Time flew away very fast.

Alina looked at the dress on the bed. She bought it a few days ago for today’s party. She would wear it. She hoped everything would be fine and she would look presentable.

She tried to call her parents but they were like vanished. Nobody knew where they were, they didn’t receive her call in these two weeks.

Alina looked at herself in the mirror. “Let’s get ready Alina. You have to look okay. You can’t just look chaotic in front of others.” She told herself.

She did some smokey makeup. She curled her lower hair and straightened her upper hair.

She wore her dress and put her black high heels on. “Finally I am ready.”

She looked at the clock. “Where is Crystal? It’s already late.”

She got out of her room and went to Crystal’s room, she saw some women with makeup boxes coming out from Crystal’s room.

Alina entered Crystal’s room.

“Wow, you are looking very beautiful, Crystal,” Alina said happily.

Crystal turned around and looked at Alina with her beautiful green eyes.

“Really?”

“Yes, Crystal.”

“Do you think Aaron will like this look of mine?” Crystal asked Alina.

Alina felt a little fraction in her heart when she heard that. “Don’t worry, if he likes you, he will like you in every way you look.” Alina replied.

Crystal nodded and said, “You are also looking so stunning, Alina.”

“Thanks. No, let’s go, we are already late.”

“Yeah let’s go, my king is waiting for me.” Crystal said.

Alina shook her head and chuckled.

When they entered the hall where the party was held, they saw many men and women were there talking with each other. All of them wore well-designed clothes.

The hall was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights.

Most of the flowers were roses. Alina looked at the roses and thought about the king’s garden. ‘Are these roses coming from his garden? They are beautiful and smelled nice.’

“Alina.” Crystal called her.

“Where are you looking?” Crystal asked.

“Nothing, I was just looking at those beautiful roses.” Alina replied.

Suddenly, the main door opened and the King entered with his four officials.

He was the most handsome man at the party. He wore a black suit with a white shirt inside. All of his officials wore black as well.

Alina looked at the others and everyone wore colorful clothes. Then she looked at her clothes, only she was wearing a black dress.

‘Why did I buy a black dress for today? I should have worn colorful clothes like others.’ She thought.

When everyone saw the king was here they kept silent for some moment.

Aaron told them to enjoy the party and then they continued to enjoy the party.

Crystal wanted to go to meet Aaron.

“You go to him. I am going to sit on the bar side, okay?” Alina said.

“But you should also come with me, Alina.”

“No, I don’t have to meet with him, you should meet with him. Now go, best of luck.” Alina said and pushed her lightly to go ahead.

“Are you sure you will be fine in the bar side?”

“Of course, all I need to do is sit there and maybe have a drink.” Alina smiled and winked at Crystal.

“Not bad, bestie.” Crystal laughed and left from there.

Alina’s smile faded when she turned around.

She went to the bar side and sat there while looking around.

There were so many Alpha trying to convince and make an alliance with the Lycan king. But the Lycan king had already signed the alliance contract with the Silver Moon pack one year ago. So everyone had no choice except to enjoy the party.

“Are you alone, pretty girl?” A young man asked Alina.

Alina turned her chair to him and looked at him. He looked average from his looks. But Alina did not have anything to do with that.

“No, I am with my friend.” She smiled and looked around.

But her eyes fell on the King.

Aaron was looking at her. Alina looked away and ordered an apple juice.

“But I can not see anyone besides you.” The man said and grabbed the chair beside Alina to sit but someone patted his shoulder.

“She was waiting for me. She is not alone.” Beta Lucas said to the man.

“Oh, Beta Lucas. Nice to meet you. I am the Alpha of the Crimson red pack.” He held out his hand in front of Beta Lucas.

“I didn’t know she was with you. Forgive me.”

“It’s okay. Please go and enjoy the party.” Beta Lucas smiled and said.

The man nodded and bowed to him slightly. Though he was another pack’s Alpha, everyone was afraid of the Lycan king and his unbeatable officials who were powerful just like the Lycans.

When the man left from there. Alina looked at Beta Lucas. “Thanks, Beta Lucas.”

“Had a bad day?” He asked her.

Alina shook her head.

“Then why are you not enjoying the party?”

“Who said I am not enjoying the party? Can’t you see? I am sitting here and drinking apple juice. This is my enjoyment. I don’t know anyone else here. So I have nothing to do here.”

Beta Lucas nodded and looked at Aaron, he was looking at Alina. Lucas smirked.

When the man came to Alina Lucas saw how his best friend reacted, so he immediately came to save the man’s life and let him live for a few more years in this world.

Beta Lucas turned to Alina and wanted to tease her.

“Tell me something, Alina.”

“What?” Alina asked.
