“WHAT IF HE WON’T REJECT YOU?”

Alina stared at Beta Lucas for a few seconds then replied, “It’s not possible. He told me he doesn’t want a weak omega like me. And I think he is right. I don’t deserve a mate like him. He is too dominant and ruthless at the same time. How can I be his mate? I can’t kill anyone. He is right, I can’t rule beside him. I can’t even imagine being the Queen. I was just excited for my mate. Because the Moon Goddess chose him for me. But after watching him today, I totally understand how right he was.”

Beta Lucas was silent. Then he sighed and said, “Let’s walk.”

Alina nodded and started to follow him inside the forest.

Beta Lucas showed her the forest area, there was a beautiful lake in the forest. It was a deep forest.

Alina then saw the way from afar. “Where is the path going?”

Beta Lucas looked at the way and said, “It is the way of another territory. Don’t cross the way ever.”

Alina nodded her head and looked at the way.

Meanwhile,

Aaron came back to the pack house and went to his residential area. He took a shower and got ready.

He killed the young man today because he was a traitor. He was furious at him. He could forgive anything but betrayal. He didn’t like betraying.

When he was killing the man he smelled his mate, Alina. He wanted to show her how he is. He wanted to show her that he was not a man with a soft heart. He was the king of brutal creatures. The King of Lycans.

Aaron came downstairs and sat on the couch. He saw Delta Darren was there.

“How is your work, Darren?”

“It’s going fine.” Delta Darren replied.

Then he remembered something and asked, “Can I talk with you about something?”

Aaron was typing something on his phone but stopped and looked at Delta Darren. “Sure.”

Delta Darren stood up from the couch and came to sit beside Aaron.

“What happened Darren? Is there something serious?” Aaron asked.

“No, it’s about the new girl.” Delta Darren said.

“Who?”

“About Alina, Crystal’s friend.”

“Who?”

“About Alina, Crystal’s friend.”

Aaron frowned at him. “What about her?”

“Aaron, can you help her to search for someone?”

“Search someone?”

“Yeah.”

“Who?”

“She wants to find a pack fighter. She saw him the day she came here to our pack house.”

Aaron’s eyes went darker. “A fighter wolf?”

“Hmm.”

“Why? Does she know him?”

“No.” Delta Darren said and was quiet for some moment.

“Then why does she need to find her?” Aaron asked him.

“Well, Aaron..”

“What?”

“Well, she has a crush on him. She said he is someone special to her.”

“Special to her?” Aaron said angrily. He didn’t know why but he got mad at Alina.

“Yes, my king, he is special to her.” A voice was heard from behind.

Delta Darren looked behind and saw Crystal standing there.

“Did you eavesdrop on our conversation?” Delta Darren asked.

“No, I didn’t. You are loud enough to be hearable.” Crystal said and rolled her eyes.

Delta Darren thought, ‘This woman got some courage to roll her eyes at the officials just because of that old man.’

“Come here, Crystal,” Aaron said without turning his head back or looking at her.

Crystal was happy when she heard that. She went to sit on a couch and sat down.

“What did you say about your friend?” Aaron asked while looking calm but inside him was raging sand.

Crystal thought about last night and how he sent his personal maid to Alina. So she thought it was better to tell him about Alina’s matter before he would get any interest in her.

“Actually My king, she has found the one she always dreamed about.”

“Dream about? Clear the facts.”

“Yes, my king. She was dreaming about someone for a long time. Now she has finally found him when we came here. She told me about the person. She was asking me about pack fighters living here or not.”

“Delta Darren just told me that your friend told him to find out about him. Do you know anything about him so I can process the matter?”

Crystal’s eyes glowed. “Yes, I know about him. She told me once that he is very handsome. She even blushed talking about him. I think she falls in love with him. You should find him soon, my king. My friend will be happy about that and she will be obliged to you forever.”

Hearing her words Aaron immediately stood up. Delta Darren and Crystal also stood up.

“Tell everyone to come to the dining table. It is time for lunch.” Aaron said and walked to the dining table.

“Did I say something wrong? Why did he suddenly stand up and go away? He looked angry. Is he angry with me?” Crystal asked a bunch of questions to Delta Darren while looking at Aaron’s back.

“Why did you come between our conversation? I could manage him to help Alina but no, you have to destroy everything. “

“But I didn’t say something wrong.”

Delta Darren looked at where Aaron was going and thought, ‘She is right. This time she didn’t say anything wrong. Why did Aaron get angry suddenly?’

He then called the maids to tell everyone about the lunch.

Usually, everyone had lunch after half an hour of that time. But today Aaron called them so everyone came immediately.

When Aaron saw everyone came except his Beta and his mate Alina. He ignored Alina’s matter and asked,

“Where is Beta Lucas?”

“I am here.” Beta Lucas replied while entering the large living room.

Aaron looked at him and saw Alina was coming behind Beta Lucas.

Aaron looked at Beta Lucas, he nodded at him and then sat on the right side of Aaron.

Alina went to sit beside Crystal. She was looking okay now. She didn’t look at Aaron for a second. She was afraid of his today’s behavior.

She thought, “Delta Darren just told me that your friend told him to find out about him. Do you know anything about him so I can process the matter?”

‘IT’S BETTER IF HE REJECTS ME, OTHERWISE THE TIME IS NOT LATE WHEN MY NIGHTMARES WILL BECOME TRUE.’
