The King's Omega -
The King’s Omega – Chapter 7
Two months, that was the time in which Dayana was a guest in that enormous castle. Things were more or less in her place, she hadn’t been able to see the alpha often, but when she did it was very valuable time for her.
Every time she was with the king, something inside her body moved, tickling her, and she couldn’t agree more that her heart had already found that person who filled her with a lot of love and devotion. That day, she was sitting under a tree in the backyard. A few days ago, she had decided to leave the castle to enjoy the sunny days and a good book.
Before taking out the books, he had to ask permission from the king so that he would not say anything to him for having taken his books out of the library without his permission. He only told her that since she no longer used the books, she could use them without any problem if she wanted.
—Hello—a flower appeared near his face—. I know there are many flowers like you. However, the king wanted to give you something nice, just like you.
“Thank you,” she took the flower that Thiago was giving her. A very nice gesture on his part, my lord.
“I can do many things for you,” the king sat next to her. Don’t you get tired of reading all day?
“No, I really like reading,” he smelled the flower. Why did you give me this flower?
—Because I wanted to do it —Thiago shrugged his shoulders—. Above all, you are a little thing that deserves many gifts. Because, he decided to leave his room to sunbathe.
—Do you prefer my skin color to be like this?
“You will be very beautiful in any color,” he outlined her arm. But, I like that you leave your room towards the garden… I’m glad to know that you don’t feel like a prisoner in these four walls…
“I get the point,” she laughed. I would like to be here, but I’m afraid I’m not entirely welcome.
– Because you said so?
—Some of the servants have looked at me as if I were an object —Dayana closed the book—. Nor do I want to inconvenience the people who live under the same roof as the king.
“Not uncomfortable,” he intertwined his fingers. “You don’t bother me at all, there’s a reason I brought you to live here.” She looked directly into her eyes. I like being with you, the minutes we spend together talking every day make me happy in a way you can’t imagine.
—I…
—You don’t have to say anything, Dayana —she removed the book from her legs—. I would like to be by your side always… if you allow me.
“Yes… always stay with me.” The pheromones that Thiago was letting out of her were slowly killing her. I… I think I should go back to my rooms, she’s getting late for my bath.
“You’re right,” he said. I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable by holding your hand.
“No, no,” he took the alpha’s hand again. Don’t worry, I like having you around me… it makes me feel like I’m not so bad at making friends.
“You already have friends,” she helped her stand up. I’ll walk you to your room, otherwise it’s too much trouble.
—Not at all —Dayana pressed the book to her chest—. I would like to be with you more often… but I know that a king must be in his office attending to palace duties.
“There are many decrees,” he agreed. My secretary and personal guard fills me with them.
– Who is that person?
—The same one that takes care of you—Thiago opened the door for him—. Simón is the only person I can trust.
“I had no idea that Simón did so much work,” he confessed. He must be very tired of always being after me to fulfill my needs.
—He says that you don’t even ask him for things that are worth getting tired of—they walked down the hallway—. He tells me that his work with you is much better than being with me all day.
—I don’t know how to feel hearing those words—they went up the stairs. Will you ever let me visit you in his office, my lord?
—You can visit me as many times as you want—Dayana bit her l*p, unconsciously. I will be waiting for your visit now that you have asked me that.
“Okay.” They stopped at the door of her room. “Dayana,” he called her. Don’t call me my lord, you are forbidden to call me that way and try to call me your name.
“I’m sorry, I’m still getting used to treating you equally.” The omega looked down for a moment. Because? Does everyone call you that way?
—Just stop doing it, I would appreciate it very much—she tightened her lips—. I leave.
– I understand.
“Thank you for understanding,” she walked away as far as she could. No more to say, I say goodbye…
—I never said I understood…
—It is not a bad thing…
—Lies are a sin, my lord —he did not wait for an answer and closed the door in the king’s face.
Thiago, instead of getting angry, could only smile like a fool when listening to her. It was to be expected that he thought that way, that he believed that… it was better that he didn’t know at all, because he had rightly decided to have to prohibit him from saying that word. The lies he has to tell that omega to avoid a disaster in her pants.
The next day, Thiago was aware of the events that were happening in the palace, he, like everyone, wanted to be with something more in his pockets and that was something that he could not allow anyone.
—His majesty—Simon entered with more decrees in his hands—. Someone has come to see him.
—Who has come here at this time?
—It’s me—Dayana entered with a book in her hands—. You had told me that I was allowed to enter her office.
“I already told you to try to vary a little the fact that you are always calling me about you,” she stood up. I didn’t think you’d come so quickly to see me.
“I wanted to see the place as soon as possible,” she smiled affectionately at him. Also because here are some brushes that I can use to write.
– Write?
“I want to have a personal diary,” she said nervously. It’s something I’ve had in mind for a while.
“You can sit wherever you like,” he pointed out. If you need something just tell me and I’ll try to get Simón to bring it for you.
“It’s not necessary for him to bring me everything I ask for,” he looked towards the cushions that were near the window. Do you think he can sit me there?
“Of course,” Thiago nodded, still dazed. You want something to eat?
—No, just sitting here and watching you work will make me very happy—everything smelled like the alpha in that place—. Continue with your work, and I will continue trying not to call you.
—I think it’s a very fair deal on your part.
—My dealings are always fair—he inhaled the smell of one of the cushions in a surreptitious manner. Do not stop.
The king wrinkled his nose in disagreement. He wanted to continue talking with her, but he was right when he told her that he should continue working and Simon brought more decrees from her that he had to review. He wanted to hit himself against the wall and end his life that way. Yes, that was the best.
Their food was brought, and between a pleasant chat, neither of them left that room unless it was to go to the bathroom and that only took a few minutes. Dayana did not say again… my lord or refer to him as you, although the latter was complicated because sometimes the words about you and you got tangled.
The omega returned to her work of writing, realizing that the beta was watching her while she was having a drink at one of the tables in the garden. She had felt her gaze since she sat down and she knew that this woman would always be aware of her every move.
It was time to be most disinterested in the king and thus be able to avoid the fact that the alpha always wanted to be with her.
– What are you looking at?
“Nothing in particular,” he turned his face toward her. Do you have a long way to go to finish the work?
—A little—Thiago moved his head from side to side to relieve the pain in his neck—. I’m starting to hate Simon.
—You don’t have to hate him—the alpha looked at her funny. He is a good employee, he fulfills his duty.
— I know, but I can’t resist any more decrees, regulations and new laws — he dropped into the chair —. This is the worst.
—Has there not been any fight between the kingdoms?
—That question should be asked of your father—Dayana frowned—. He is an expert in waging war on his own people.
—Those wars started since my mother died —the alpha confessed—. He hasn’t been the same.
—Did your father ever fall in love after your mother died?
—Once he told me that he liked someone—she wrinkled her nose—. Afterwards, I didn’t know anything more about that person.
– I understand.
Dayana did not say another word. She didn’t want to tell him the whole truth about the only person who had helped her.
