The Headmaster Alpha's Mate
The Headmaster Alpha’s Mate Chapter 129

Ken sat behind his desk in his office at Ullswater pack, Amanda Bines pacing the floor behind him.

“What do you mean they have not killed the human mate of Alpha Joshua?” She screeched.

To weaken Zander by killing off his brother and his mate was key to their success, they had planned this to perfection, yet it was all going wrong. They had failed to get the written authority to take over the council, and to stop the referendum, and now Zander Colton and his royal b***h mate were as strong as ever.

“We need to retreat, to pull our wolves out of this, we do not run the council, and we are sure to lose this fight Amanda.” Ken growled out in frustration.

“NO! it is now or never! We cannot live the way we want whilst they remain alive.” Amanda screamed in frustration. She had plotted and planned for this day, she knew they would never have another chance at this, not for at least another hundred years.

Luna Anne walked into the office; she could not contain the low hiss as she looked at the omega b***h who had her claws in her mate.

“Ken, they have obviously hidden her, and not on the pack lands.” Anne growled out in frustration that her mate was so stupid not to have worked this out for himself.

“Well, where else would they be?” Ken growled part annoyance but a bigger part pure l**t, at his mate, his body reacting to her presence. It had been so long since he held his Luna in his arms. The touch of her skin, the sparks that consumed him when they joined together as mates. He missed her, but until this war was won, he could not get rid of Amanda, give her to Anne to kill, so he must impatiently wait.

“Somewhere close to the packs, but far enough away that we would not consider it.” Anne stated.

“Bring me a map.” Ken shouted to no one in particular, after all the whole pack were now at war hundreds of miles away.

They looked at the surrounding area within fifty miles of the Crescent Moon pack, all searching for possible hiding places for Nicki and her human child.

“Here.” Anne pointed.

“Didn’t the Colton’s get married? What if they hid them in the church?” Anne pointed at the map.

“What and involve humans? It would go against their oh so high and mighty principles.” Amanda laughed at Anne.

Anne let out a growl at Amanda, she wanted to rip out the b***h’s heart so bad for the hold she had on her mate.

“Mind your tongue, Omega.” Anne hissed in disgust.

“My mate is correct, it makes perfect sense, they like humans nearly as much as Omegas, Nicola Colton is human, so is her weak pup. We need to get to that church. Once we kill her and the human pup, that is the game changer we want.” Alpha Ken stated.

Amanda sighed out, frustrated that Ken listened to his mate, she felt this was a fool’s errand, and she hated that the stupid mate bond between them was still this strong, despite all her efforts to weaken it.

“If we go now, we arrive not long after Dawn.” Ken stated, then turned to his mate.

“Please join me.” He whispered to her.

Anne looked at her mate, she longed for his touch, but had given him her solemn vow that he would not be with her until this was finished, over, and that woman was gone, and she intended to keep to her word.

“I need to prepare the pack house for when our warriors return victorious from this battle.” She sighed, turning on her heal and walking out of the Alpha office.

“Leave her, if you really think the human b***h is at this church, we need to go.” Amanda sighed out. It was too close to the battlefield for comfort, but there was nobody else to go and checkout the church.

The two distinct lines of battle rushed towards each other, a loud roar causing the branches of the surrounding trees rustle, as the birds all flew off in unison.

Chloe snapped the neck of a warrior as she made her way towards a pale and frightened Pia, she was going to finish what was started.

Pia tried to hide herself behind warriors, almost like she was pretending to fight, but in reality, she was shielding herself from the battle.

As Chloe advanced, she easily killed or severely injured every wolf that came her way, as Sheba sang in her head like a demented psychopath.

“It’s coming home,

It’s coming home,

Football’s coming home.”

Chloe would have laughed at her ridiculous wolf, if she were not busy killing the enemy wolves who were now attacking her and Zander three at a time. It was like swatting flies; such was the royal couple’s strength, they could attack six at a time and still not be a match for either of them. Clearing the path Chloe saw Pia standing, she almost felt sorry for the Luna, as she begun to visibly shake with fear.

“Surrender or fight.” Chloe shouted to her, giving the scared woman another chance to survive this war.

“Never.” Pia screamed and launched herself forward.

“She is mine Chloe, let me at her!” Sheba shouted, wagging her tail in excitement.

The sun begun to rise, peaking above the treetops, as night turned into day, illuminating the bloody battlefield, that was once a playground for the pups of the pack.

Chloe let her royal wolf take control, her shift instantaneous. The enemy warriors were momentarily blinded by the sight of Sheba, as the rising sunlight reflected from the silver strands through her purple fur. Pia gulped, then turned on her heal to run away from the magnificent wolf.

Sheba made chase, jumping up biting Pia’s head clean off her shoulders, laughing as it rolled around the battlefield, one of the enemy warriors accidently kicking it as he ran towards Delphine, who with one swift round kick to his jaw had him laid prone on the floor, before she finished him off.

“Ha ha ha, I actually did make her a football, I could not have that planned better if I had tried.” Sheba laughed.

“Concentrate Sheba.” Chloe reprimanded her wolf, who was still laughing hard at what had just transpired.

Zander punched Tristan in the chest sending him flying across the field, when mid flight the Jorvick Alpha began to let out an ear piecing scream of pain. The painful sound of the mate bond breaking, and Zander knew his mate had killed Luna Pia. Death for Tristan was now a mercy, and Zander quickly rushed over to put an end to the alpha’s suffering. He would not draw it out, grabbing Tristan by the leg Zander swung him around, connecting the Alpha’s head with a nearby tree, before the Jorvick Alphas body slumped to the ground his eyes fixed staring into space, dead before he reached the earth beneath Zander’s feet.

Ethan sat in his position just north of the battlefield, Liane would grab the wounded of the packs transport them to him, where he would lay his hands on them, then asked if they wished to be taken to the church or back into the affray. None of the wolves who were brought to him wanted to hide, each returning to the battlefield to continue the fight.

It was a never-ending stream of his pack mates, but the injuries were mostly superficial, and it was not too taxing on his gift to heal them, but he was feeling some residual pain from the shear amount of injuries he had taken on himself before healing the wolves. Liane arrived with a warrior whose leg was broken.

“Hey, are you okay?” Ethan asked, wondering if she was tiering from overuse of her own gift.

“Yeah, fresh as a daisy.” Liane grinned, teleporting was as natural as breathing for her, even moving multiple wolves did not tax her.

“What about you?” she asked.

Ethan looked up and nodded that he was okay, but if he was really honest, although the injuries he was dealing with were easy fixes, he was beginning to tire slightly.

“I am good, for now.” He smiled, laying hands on the warriors broken leg, and watched as his own leg misshaped before snapping back.

“Okay, would you like to go to the church or back to the battlefield?” Liane asked

“Battlefield.” The warrior said with conviction.

At this point Liane and Ethan wondered why they were even asking the healed wolves, as not one of them had requested the sanctuary of the church.

Alpha George of Tyndale growled out in frustration, every time he injured a wolf, before he had the chance to finish them off a blur would snatch them away and they would return to the battlefield good as new.

“They have a healer somewhere, find them, do not kill them, bring them to us, and force them to heal our injured.” George mind linked four of his warriors.

“Yes Alpha.” They responded, then filed off into the trees, to do a circle of the permitter of the battlefield to try and find the healer, that was making their job so much harder.

Faith and Luke stood back-to-back, as they fought together surrounded by enemy warriors. Faith linked her arms through her mates, as he effortlessly lifted her up, he spun her around as she kicked the faces of the wolves that were attacking them, before placing her back on the floor. It had been a practiced move, which they executed to perfection. The enemy wolves shook their heads momentarily dazed from the impact of Faiths kicks. Taking full advantage, Faith and Luke shifted in unison, landing behind the stunned wolved, then snapped their jaws onto the rear ends of the wolfs throwing them into the small number that had gathered to attack them, before moving in for the kill.

As Faith’s wolf jumped once more, she was suddenly brought to the ground, pain radiating through her shoulder, as a wolf latched onto her skin, piecing her with his canines.

“FAITH!” Luke linked with her, as he killed the attacker he was fighting. Then jumped up to get the wolf from his mate.

Nicki sat in the church, reading a story to the young pups, trying to distract them and herself from the thoughts of what was happening with their loved ones. Ellie stood her body suddenly stiff as she sniffed the air around them.

“Get to the priest holes NOW!” Ellie shouted.

Instantly the pups all ran in panic, Nicki’s head snapped up to look at Ellie.

“What is happening?” The human Luna asked.

“I smell wolves, an Alpha and an Omega, they are not ours.” Ellie shouted.

Nicki passed Hannah to Vicar Ted.

“Look after her, please.” She whispered to the Vicar.

“Luna what are you doing? Go to the priest holes.” Ellie shouted to Nicki.

“No, I am a Luna, I will fight as a Luna. You will not face them alone.” Nicki stood before Ellie, her face filled with determination.

Sarah stood alongside Nicki and smiled.

“I will stand with you also.” The older omega wolf stated.

“Sarah, you are a cook, not a fighter.” Ellie sighed out.

“And as such, I know how to use a knife to chop up meat and vegetables.” Sarah shrugged with a smirk, then pulled out a large kitchen knife from under the waist of her leggings.

“You have had that all this time?” Nicki asked shaking her head and smiling.

Sarah shrugged.

“It pays to be prepared.” Sarah gave her a small smile. She may be just the cook, but she sure as hell know how to wield a knife with precision.

“No time for this, they are getting closer.” Ellie shouted.

“Link for help.” Sarah stated to Ellie.

“Do not disturb Josh, I do not want him to lose his focus, we will deal with this as best we can.” Nicki ordered.

“Luna….” Both Ellie and Sarah protested.

Hamish and Douglas, both stood beside Nicki.

“We are with you.” they stated, they would never let this girl stand alone, despite already dying once.

As they spoke the large wooden doors of the church burst open, and Alpha Ken stood Amanda Bines by his side.

“Well, Well, Well, what do we have here.” Ken said a psychotic grin on his face as he saw the very woman, he wanted to destroy stood with just two omegas by her side. Things were finally going in his favour.

Ethan was getting weaker by the minute, the constant pain of taking on board the warriors injuries starting to take its tole on his body.

He closed his eyes just for a moment to try and replenish his strength, when suddenly he felt arms around him. His eyes snapped open and four enemy warriors grabbed him, a hessian bag thrown over his head, and he felt himself being dragged away. He called on his wolf Ben to help him, but he was too weak because of using his gift so much to shift, desperation filled him, as he called out via the pack link to tell them he was captured, only he could not connect and fear began to rush through his body.
