The Cherished Wife (Noelle and Charles) -
Chapter 641
"Ms. Baker, I always thought you were a refined lady, but is this how a refined lady behaves?" Winter looked at Janet with a mix of grievance and defiance. She then turned her gaze toward Charles, who was seated below the stage. "Mr. Hoffman, though I'm merely an artist from Royal Star, I'm still human. Did you invite me here today just to humiliate me like this?"
Charles narrowed his eyes. The corners of his long eyes curved with a hint of a smile, but it held a cold undertone.
He glanced at Winter, then at Janet, observing their theatrics before finally rising to speak. "Escort Ms. Baker back home."
"Charles, what are you saying? How can you do this to me?" Seeing Charles seemingly side with Winter, Janet felt her anger surge. "Charles, have you fallen for her? Are you interested in this Winter chick?"
Charles furrowed his brows together as a trace of anger flickered in his eyes. A look of impatience swept across his face as he glanced at Clarisse. "Mother, she's your guest. You deal with her."
Clarisse's face flushed with embarrassment. "Charlie, Janet isn't feeling well today. Everything she's done is just because she's unwell. I'll take her back."
"Alright." Charles nodded. He then strode up to the stage with his long legs.
Taking the microphone that Becky handed him, he looked down at the audience from his elevated position. The next second, he turned his gaze to Winter. "Taking advantage of Collosus Group's year-end banquet today, I have an announcement to make."
Everyone was stunned by Charles' sudden move and fixed their eyes on him. Charles calmly said, "Saint Di is a brand under Collosus Group, and we've been searching for a suitable spokesperson. We've been considering domestic and international celebrities, as well as artistes under Royal Star. After careful consideration, I've decided..."
Charles' words left everyone holding their breath, including Winter, who clutched her microphone tightly. Despite the humiliation Janet had inflicted on her earlier, it was clear that this was the moment she truly cared about.
Brielle had not yet performed, but Charles was already making his announcement.
"The spokesperson for Saint Di will be Ms. Winter Shaw."
As expected, the moment Charles finished his sentence, Winter exhaled in relief, her entire being radiating joy.
She looked at Charles, brimming with excitement. "Mr. Hoffman, is it true? Am I really the spokesperson for Saint Di?"
Charles raised an eyebrow with a slight smile playing on his lips. "Of course I never go back on my word. From today, you're the official spokesperson for Saint Di in Westel."

Brielle, sitting below the stage, turned pale. She had just started to stand but sank back heavily into her seat.
Her manager barely caught her in time, or she might have fallen.
"How could this be?" she murmured in disbelief. "How could it be Winter?"
Meanwhile, Janet, who was being pulled toward the exit by Clarisse, turned livid when she heard Charles announce the name.
Her eyes reddened, and she glared fiercely at Winter on the stage. Her sharp nails even dug into her palms without her realizing it.
"Aunt Clarisse, let me go! That
vel
wretched Winter, I want her to suffer! How dare she seduce
Chartes? I won't let her get away with this!"
