DRAKE'S POV

Monday morning is a typical morning for everyone but not for me. I wake up early so I can get to the office early. I know I'll see Anna in the company so that's how much fun I feel. I know it's not easy for him now, so I'd better stay away first because he wants to be able to meditate. But I couldn't bear to see him so even from a distance I could have glanced at her.

I went down immediately when I finished taking a bath.

"Sir Drake, aren't you going to eat here?" Question of a maid. I just shook my head and continued walking.

"Just take care of Vends," I ordered and started to drive my car.

A few more minutes passed and I arrived at the company as well. Everything is normal, greetings from the employees but one thing I'm sure it's not like before.

As I walked towards my office I caught sight of Anna, our eyes met but she also immediately avoided me. None of my own persisted in my office.

I was also soaked in my laptop for a few hours, later I heard a knock on the door. I don't know but my body came to life assuming it was Anna, but I was mistaken because it was Celeste who opened up to me. Smiling it walked closer to me as I just stared at her without emotion.

She was about to kiss me but I immediately averted my lips from her and pretended to turn my attention to my laptop.

I heard her sigh before she sat down at my desk and stared at me.

"How's your day babe?" she asked, I ignored her and just kept typing on my laptop keyboard. "What's wrong with you Drake?" she added.

My attention remained on the laptop in front of me now. She stared at me for a moment.

"These days, you seem to have been cold to me. What's the matter? Is it because of Anna-"

"Don't say her name right now 'cause she has nothing to do with the conversation right now Celeste. Tell me what you want and leave me alone," I interrupted what she said.

Her eyebrows rose. "See, look how defensive you are, she's your secretary. Just fucking secretary!"

"Stop it, Celeste! Why are you acting like this?" I knew the door to my office was closed so I knew no one could hear us shouting but the two of us.

"Because you cared about Anna so much! The way you look, the way you talk, everything Drake!"

"What's the problem if I cared about Anna so much?"

"I'm jealous Drake..."

"Why do you feel jealous? We don't have a relationship, do we?" I don't know why that word just came out of my mouth. I could see the frustration in her eyes when she heard that. She slowly lowered her gaze and grinned. "You're right Drake, maybe we're only friends, we're only friends making love on the bed several times, we're friends kissing each other like a couple. You're right Drake..." I saw her tears at the same time she stood up and walked out of my office without even looking at me.

I stayed in my seat for a while.

"Fuck! Drake!" I couldn't help myself and no doubt threw my belongings on my desk.

I know I hurt her feeling, but I can't lie to myself. The one I love is Anna and no one else.
