Drake's POV

I was also in my office for a few hours without realizing that time was running out.

It's already 12:00 a.m.

Lunch break.

I walked out of the office but I didn't see Anna's bulk.

Where is that woman?

I took my cellphone out of my pocket and quickly called Lance, I plan to have lunch there at their restaurant.

"Hello."

"What's up, dude. You got called?"

"I'm going to your restaurant, I'll eat there."

"Which restaurant?" he laughed. Tsk. This shit is so dumb.

"Of course, the place near my company."

I "Just kidding lol. Okay, let's wait. Of course, you can bring Anna too."

"Why? Are you going wild?"

"Why is it bad? Just take her with you. I want to see her, I miss her beauty."

I don't know why I suddenly felt annoyed.

I saw how to laugh as Anna talked to that man.

I remained in that position while looking at them. They seem to be close to each other based on how they behave. Not on my own, I walked closer to where they were.

"Anna..." I waited.

The two of them turned their attention to me.

"Sir Drake," she replied, "do you need anything," she asked in astonishment.

"By the way Sir Drake, Daruel is my friend," she introduced to the man next to him.

God! It was as if a thorn had pulled me out of hearing what Anna had said.

Daruel reached out and I immediately reached out. We shook hands.

"Anna, I'd love to talk to you. It's just important," I said. He looked at Daruel's behavior and told him to go first.

"All right I'll go first, Anna. I'll just pick you up later," he said and left immediately.

"Let's go, we're going somewhere," I said and walked ahead.

"Where's Sir Drake?"

"I'm not paying you to ask. Just follow."

Anna's POV

It was 12:00 a.m when I finished all my work in the office, some employees also went out to eat, later I thought of eating out as well.

Unexpectedly, I was suddenly stuck in my position when I saw Daruel in front of the company.

It waved at me and smiled.

"Daruel? What are you doing here?" I wondered. I stepped closer to him. He was wearing a black tuxedo and black pants while wearing black shoes that shone in cleanliness. "I found out from Thea that you work here. I would like to say hello to you."

"I'm okay, are you?"

"It's okay. Haven't you had lunch yet?" he asked in surprise.

"It's over," I lied because I knew when I said no he would invite me outside to eat again. It's embarrassing.

"Ah...is that so? I would have invited you to eat lunch today. But it's okay, how's your work?"

"It's pretty tired."

"Anna!" He was no longer able to continue or what he was going to say when we suddenly turned our attention to Drake.

It walks closer to us.

"Sir Drake," I replied, "do you need anything," I wondered.

"By the way Sir Drake, Daruel turned out to be my friend," I Introduced Daruel.

Daruel reached out his hand and he immediately took it.

"Anna, I'd love to talk to you. It's just important," he said. I looked at Daruel's behavior to say that he was the first. He inherited what I wanted to convey.

"All right, I'll go first Anna. I'll pick you up later," he said. I nodded and he left immediately.

"Let's go, we're going somewhere," I startled turning to Drake's habit of speaking it. "Where's Sir Drake?"

"I'm not paying you to ask. Just follow," he said while continuing to walk towards his car.

I could do nothing but follow him.

"Have you eaten lunch?" he asked in surprise. I shook my head.

"Hop in, we're going somewhere," he said and opened the door for me.

I stared at him in surprise. Just now he opened the door to me.

Does he have a fever? What else did this one eat?

"I said, hope in," he whispered so I immediately got in the car.

Eventually, we started to leave.

Also a few minutes later we arrived at an expensive restaurant.

It immediately came down and opened the door for me.

Wow, the gentleman is this one?

He walked into the expensive restaurant first, I just followed him until we came to a round table.

"Anna!" my attention was drawn to a familiar voice. I immediately turned my back to see Lance while wearing an apron.

It ran fast towards me and I could hardly breathe when suddenly he hugged me tightly.

Most of the people around were staring at us. I could see Sir Drake's emotion change because of Lance hugging me.

"Lance enough, it looks like you haven't seen it in years huh?" Drake joked. Gradually, Lance let go of my embrace.

"I'm sorry, I just really missed you," he promised.

"It's okay," I replied.

"Take your seat," he offered me at the other table with only two people left, I smiled and tried to sit there. I hesitantly looked at the other table where Drake was sitting.
