"Let's go?" he asked when I got to where he was. "By the way, Mark this is Anna. Mark meets Anna," he introduced. I smiled and shook hands.

"Nice meeting you," I promised.

"Nice meeting you too, I'll be the first Daruel. See you around," he said and shook Daruel's hand before leaving.

We headed to the parking lot and immediately boarded. A few minutes also passed and we arrived at the condo as well.

"Can you just eat here? You came with me so you can just eat here in exchange," I said.

"Sure why not?" he answered enthusiastically, I let him in and I immediately went to the kitchen.

"Sit there first, while I prepare food," I promised.

I will cook porridge today. I immediately prepared the one I was going to use, but there was one ingredient I hadn't gotten yet. I saw your vinegar on the high side. I try to reach it but I can't get it.

"I'll get it for you," I almost jumped because of Daruel's voice. I was unaware of his presence behind me. He immediately reached for the vinegar and handed it to me.

"What will you cook?" he asked in surprise.

"S-Sinigang," I promised.

"Go ahead, I'll just watch you. Are you okay?" he asked and leaned against the sink.

"Ahm... yes," I replied and proceeded to slice. My moment is awkward now.

"Ouch," I moaned as I accidentally cut my hand because of the knife.

"Ow, take it easy. Let me see?" Immediately it went and touched my hand.

"Do you have a first aid kit here?" he asked in surprise.

I nodded and pointed to a box in the cabinet, and he immediately took it.

"Come on, let's treat that," he said and we sat on the sofa.

I just stared at him while cleaning my wound.

I can't deny that he's handsome.

"Okay done," it later said. I immediately stood up.

"T-Thank y-you," I said and went back to the kitchen.

"If you need help, just call me," it said. I just nodded.

I also cooked for a few hours and finally, I was done as well.

"Here we go," I said and laid the warm porridge on the table.

"Wow, it looks delicious," he compliments.

'Of course, the cooking is delicious too," I mimicked what he had said in the past. He laughed softly.

We have already started eating.

"Hmm..." he muttered while I was enjoying my cooking.

"How's my cook?"

"Perfect, you can be the right couple," he laughed

"No, you're still better at cooking than I am."

"No, we're both great at cooking."

"Just kidding, of course, I'm better at cooking," I joked and he laughed.

We continued eating. We became the subject of my job search, he was forcing me to join their company but I refused because I was already ashamed of him. I'll just look for a job and if I don't find anything, I'll join their company. He agrees with that.

A few minutes later, he said goodbye because he had something important to do, and I took a shower and got dressed because I was planning to look for a job.

I wore a simple white dress and a black purse.

I have also prepared the paperwork needed to apply.

I immediately left the condo and started looking for work.

I went to a restaurant, but they said they had not yet hired an employee. I stumbled upon a call center building but they also don't accept now.

It's 3 pm and I still haven't found a job. I was so vicious because of my sweat, I sat on a chair near the playground and drank some water. How can I find its work?

I have to find a job.

I was walking around and I came across a building, it was so tall and it was shocking to look at.

My eyes widened because of what I saw.

Maybe this is my chance, I immediately went inside.

"Good afternoon ma'am," the guard said.

"Good afternoon," I replied and smiled. I was just a few steps away when I saw a familiar face.

Wait is that Lance?

Suddenly he turned his gaze to me.

"Anna?" he asked in surprise. He immediately ran towards me. "Yes, Anna why are you here?" he asked in surprise.

"I'm looking for a job, until I land here," I explained.

"That's right, I was going to take you to your condo, to say that I will apply for you here as secretary," he explained.

"Really? Thank you so much."

"This is my friend's company and I told him yesterday about your application, but I just went to his office like that but he's not there. His employees said he had a day-off."

"Is that so? It's a pity," I said.

"Don't worry, just leave your number here so he can call you if he has time," he said. I smiled broadly and nodded.

We immediately approached a woman and Lance talked to her, I gave her my cellphone number and soon it came back to where I was.

"We'll be done," he said.

"Thank you so much, Lance. It's a big help to me," I said broadly and I couldn't help but hug him. He hugged me back. We were also in that position for a few seconds until I let go of the hug. "You're very welcome. You're so beautiful in your dress," she complimented. "By the way, did you already have a snack? Can you join me for dinner?" he caressed.

I thought for a moment.

"Please..." he begged. I did nothing but agree.

"Great! Let's go?" he said and walked first, we immediately got in his car and we went to an expensive restaurant.

"Are you sure here?" I wondered. He laughed and nodded, we immediately entered.

"Good morning sir, ma'am," said a woman.

"Table for 2," Lance said.

"Okay sir, this way," the woman replied and pointed to an empty table. It is very beautiful inside and all the equipment is expensive.

There are some currently eating here.

How nice to hear musicians playing the violin on a small stage.

Later the woman handed over the menu. I looked at it and I was shocked because of the expensive food they put on it.

I looked at Lance as he was busy teasing him.

Sh*t, I don't have to pay for it.

"One Lusso's Demi Pound Burger," Lance said and the woman immediately listed it.

"How about you ma'am?" it is turning on me.

"Ahm...I can't choose, "I lied because I didn't have enough money for the goods here. "Would you like to try our best selling steak 'Finestra's Omi Wagyu'?" its language. "Ow, good choice Leni," Lance replied.

What? They will meet.

"Thank you, sir," it replied.

"Ahm...sure one F-Finestra's Omi Wagyu, "I said.

"Okay ma'am, sir. Your order will be delivered in a few minutes," he said before leaving.

Astonished I looked at Lance.

"You know him?" I wondered. It made me laugh softly because of my expression.

"Yes of course," he replied laughing. Why is he laughing?

"They love the food here, don't they?" I added.

"Yes, so sometimes I don't eat here. The food is really expensive here, I'll try to talk to dad to reduce the food prices here," he said, raising my eyes.

Dad? So it means, this restaurant belongs to them?

What the fuck!?

"Wait, can you repeat what you're saying," I clarified.

"I said, I'll talk to dad about the prices of food," he repeated.

Wait !!! What the fuck!

"So you saying... This restaurant is yours?"

"Ahm... Yes" was its answer.

"Damn it, I'm shocked. Oh my gosh." I'm almost out of money because of the prices here because I don't know where I'm going to get paid. Then I'll just know it's him.

To my surprise, he suddenly stood up and walked toward a glass cabinet. .he opened it and took an expensive wine.

This restaurant has already been confirmed to him.

It went back to where I was, two men came to our place to help Lance but he refused and said he could do it.

He translated into the wine glass and sat down.

Eventually, our order arrived as well and we started eating.

We also ate for a few minutes until we finished and decided to go home.

He took me to the condo, I said it was weird but he insisted so I didn't refuse.

"Thank you so much, Lance. You made my day," I thanked as we reached the front of the condominium.

"You're very welcome. It was nice to see you again Anna. Have a good night," he replied.

"You too, keep safe. Be careful driving," I said. It waved and winked before leaving.

"Thank you so much, Lance..." I said alone as I watched his car leaving.
