Chapter 1710 Ferry's Pawn Had Been Saved

Holley was worried that Black couldn't control himself. She was freaked out and thought that he might beat Jason to death.

"Hey, Black! Stop it! Enough. You almost beat him to death!" she shouted and ran to Black. She immediately pulled him away from Jason. However, Black already stopped. He saw Jason lying on the ground, breathing heavily. Obviously, Jason had already given up.

Holley looked at Black's face. Worries were written all over it.

Noticing Holley, Black looked back at her. He saw how terrified she was and hesitated for a while before he grabbed her hand to run away.

Holley felt her hands on him. She suddenly felt like they were back to the days when they were still together. The way he treated her came back to her mind. She would never forget everything he had done for her.

In an instant, Holley felt sad because she knew nothing would be the same. They wouldn't be able to stay together, but she would always miss him. No one would understand the pain deep in her heart. After a while, they arrived at Holley's home.

They looked at each other as they were breathing heavily. They didn't say a word. Holley heaved a sigh and said, "Why are you here? Why did you do this? Black, you already know that we won't be able to stay together. What are you doing?"

"Do you like him?"

"Yes." She looked at Black with determination in her eyes. She hoped that he could understand the situation and walk away. It was the best for him.

"You're a liar! If you like him, then why did you keep on rejecting him?" Black looked back at Holley. His face was showing a troubled expression.

Holley was faced with his sharp expression and felt that she had been seen through. So she suddenly lowered her head.

"Tell me the truth, Holley. Are you in trouble?" Black seized the opportunity and continued asking.

It was obvious for Black that every move Holley made meant that she was still in love with him. It made him more eager to know what had happened to put her in such a difficult situation. "It's none of your business, Black." Holley lifted her head and threw a displeased look at Black.

Black wasn't prepare for that. He hadn't expected that Holley would reply in that way.

Even though it was against her will, she immediately pushed him away to the door. She didn't give Black any chance to react.

"Leave! I don't want to see your face anymore. Never again." Holley looked at Black for the last time. She gave him no opportunity to stay.

When Black was questioning Holley, she had suddenly thought of Ferry. She was sure that Jason would definitely tell Ferry about everything. If that happened, Ferry would surely give Black a hard time. When she thought about that, Holley realized that she needed to make Black leave as soon as possible. She didn't want Ferry to catch him in the act because it would do no good for Black.

Meanwhile, Black saw that Holley was so furious. He didn't know what to say to her, but he didn't want to leave either.

He wanted an answer, and he couldn't just leave like that. He turned back and pulled Holley's hand. "You're lying! Tell me what's bothering you."

In fact, Black had already noticed the sorrow in Holley's face when he had come in. He could see that Holley was just pretending to be angry. That was why he was so eager to know the truth. "Nothing's bothering me. Even if there is, it's none of your business!" Holley sneered.

"It's my business because I am your boyfriend," Black quickly replied.

"You're being ridiculous, Black. I am Jason's girlfriend."

Holley gave him a cold smile. She lifted her eyebrows. She tried to push Black away, but she failed.

Holley was so furious and said, "I have cheated on you! Everybody knows that. Are you a fool?"

"I am! I am foolishly in love with you. I don't want to let go of you!" Black was all silent now and stared at Holley. His eye were full of sorrow.

"But I don't love you anymore, Black. I'm in love with Jason. Don't you understand that? Let go of me!" Holley was still giving him a cold stare. She exerted all of her strength and tried to push him away.

But it had no effect on Black. He was still holding her tightly and said, "I don't care, Holley. All I know is that I love you. Isn't it enough?" He was in pain.

When he finished speaking, Holley couldn't hold herself anymore. Tears started to roll down her cheeks. She didn't understand why he was so foolishly in love with her. What did she do to deserve a man like this?

Holley was not a woman with a stone heart. She couldn't hold her feelings anymore. So she just wrapped her hands around his back.

Black gently looked at Holley. He couldn't stop his desire to kiss her. He pressed his lips onto hers.

When a man and a woman who were in love with each other stood alone in a single room, it wouldn't be hard to imagine what would happen. They did everything they could.

Time had passed and Holley was utterly exhausted. She quickly fell asleep.

But Black didn't want to sleep. He titled his head and stared at Holley's beautiful face. She was sleeping soundly. He took her hand and smiled. He kissed her cheek and said, "All I want for the rest of my life is to stay with you and grow old with you. I love you, Holley."

He pulled her body inside his arms and fell asleep too.

Meanwhile, at the Hu house

"Master! I know where the young master went. He went to Holley's and met Jason!" One of Rex's men reported to him. He was breathing heavily when he revealed what he had investigated. "What? Tell me everything." Rex stood up and looked at the man. He was full of concern.

The man was nervous so he took a while to breathe. Then he continued, "The young master beat Jason badly. I have taken him to the hospital!"

Rex was relieved when he heard that Black was fine. He thought to himself, 'This is my son who will never burn his fingers by fighting.'

"Is he still alive?" Rex immediately asked.

He didn't want his son be a murderer.

"He's been saved, Master."

The man immediately replied. He didn't want his master to worry.

Rex thought for a while and ordered the man to monitor Holley's home. If Ferry's men showed up, he needed to protect Black.

Jason was just Ferry's pawn. But Black beat up his pawn in public. Ferry wouldn't suffer such humiliation without taking his revenge. He would definitely initiate something by using any reason he could find. When it happened, Black would be in real trouble.
