Teach Me (The Gentlemen’s Club) Chapter 20
Nicholas
After dropping off Sinclair at Uni, promising he would be back to pick her up after her two classes, he called EJ to let him know what he needed. He left two of their bodyguards with her despite the pout on her lips. When it comes to her safety, he wouldn’t give in no matter how cute she looked at that moment.
Entering the first-class private hospital owned by him and his fellow club members, he ignored the interested glances he was receiving from the female staff at the lobby, going straight to the elevators that would lead him to the executive floors where they usually have their business discussions.
He nodded to Nora, the baron’s secretary, and let himself in into EJ’s office. Used to his unannounced visits, the doctor raised his brows blandly and smirked.
“How is she, Redington?” Huntley asked from behind his desk. His pen tapping his blotter.
“She is tough. And she has me.” Nicholas answered, unbuttoning his coat and occupying the chair before Huntley’s desk.
“Good. Here are the medical records you had requested. Luckily, the public hospital’s director was a colleague of mine. He was more than ready to help, especially when I mentioned a sizable donation.” The baron handed him a thick folder. “I’ll answer the medical terms that will confuse you.”
“She would never be able to regain her hearing?” Not that it would matter to him if she did or not. He loved her just the way she was.
“No. Her eardrums had been shattered by trauma and it’s beyond repair. No type of surgery could rebuild the defect. The police reports are attached to her file.” Huntley said in a grave voice. “I would not recommend it as well. It’s too risky.”
Nicholas nodded. Accepting his friend’s assessment. He reviewed the medical records and police reports. Broken bones, skin lacerations, panic attacks, burns, cut, and bruises, reports of s****l assaults at 12 years old, arrest records of the men her mother was dating…he abruptly closed the folder and pinched the bridge of his nose. What type of a person would do such things to his Sinclair. The worst thing was, the person was her mother. And those f*****g men trying to touch a child…f**k! He stood up and began to pace. He was wondering how long it will take for him to find those assholes. Thank God no one succeeded in taking a young girl’s innocence but to be touched and abused…he took a deep breath and leaned on a wall. His Sinclair.
“It will only get worst as you read on. My constitution is made of steel but even I want to puke or kill someone when I reviewed everything.” Huntley’s jaw was ticking with anger. ‘”All the more reason we stop those child traffickers.” He paused. “What are you going to do with Tanning’s wife?”
“I will ruin her. Or most specifically my mother and her circle of friends.” -Their mothers.- An arsenal of influential ladies at the ton. Even the Queen sought them for advice.
“I’m sure dear mama will have fun with that. It will also distract her from nagging me into marrying. You don’t know how much she had been hounding me ever since your mother told her you found your future wife. Now, she thinks all the nurses here are eligible candidates.” The baron finished his tirade with a g***n making Nicholas grin briefly. “Well, if we ruin that woman, I guess we need to find more evidence, including the husband, too.”
“Yes.” Regaining his composure, he nodded his head. Knowing Sinclair’s past, to better grasp how to thread with her, gave him peace. He would put it all behind him as she did. However only after he extracted revenge for her. After which, they would be able to move on in peace.
“We are going out tonight?” He asked the doctor. It was Friday.
“Yes. As per usual. And wear black this time would you?” Huntley taunted.
Nicholas smirked. “I guess you are a thousand-pound richer?” He asked, remembering the wager.
His friend snorted. “Sandringham was a fool.”
“You both will learn someday.”
“I hope so, Redington. I hope so.”

This was Sinclair’s last night at the diner and he was glad. The old woman had finally hired a replacement. He had the chance to meet the kind, Mrs. Samson, before he left his sweetheart at work.
Leaving her again with a bunch of bodyguards, he promised to be back before closing time and they will go home together.
“We found one of the cages,” Cerdic announced as soon as he arrived. “Lucifer is waiting for us at his warehouse. I suggest we get ready. We are going on a rescue mission.”
“Damn. It’s about time. I’m dying to kick some stupid asses tonight.” Sandringham growled and walked towards the vault to get his choice of weapons. The others followed.
Nicholas was assessing the blueprint of the place they would raid for the evening. Taking notes of weak points and the estimated number of people inside the building. He also disarmed all the security alarms. It would be child’s play for him to disable the electronic locks when they get there.
They were dressed in all black with leather jackets, their masks to conceal their identities in one hand, the other carrying an assault rifle. Their men, fellow soldiers they can trust were securing all the equipment they would need.
“Listen,” Huntley called their attention. “Especially you Sandringham, no playing heroics. If anyone of you gets injured, come to me right away. I won’t be losing a brother tonight. And wear a damn bulletproof vest, will you?” He threw one at the marquis, knowing how daring he could be. He grumbled but complied with the doctor’s orders.
Cerdic smirked. He may be the leader but Huntley will have their balls if anyone of them gets careless.
Nicholas tapped Mountford, telling him they will ride together. “I’ll be at the rooftop.” The Earl was their sniper while the Viscount a bomb and electronic expert among other things.
“I will need at least ten minutes to rig the place and set it on fire after we rescue the kids, so cover me from strays will you?” Redington murmured.
“Alright. Everything is in place. Let’s move out.” Cerdic said. Looking like the deadly commander, who killed terrorists and who operated the intelligence unit for the United Kingdom for half a decade.

East Side of London
No sane person should be living in such a place. It was like they were entering a different world. The streetlights were none existent, the streets were littered with garbage and rodents, and the homeless and hookers occupied the sidewalk. People walk like zombies, high as f**k.
There was an exchange of prohibited drugs in every corner. Where the f**k were the bobbies? He was sure Cerdic would be visiting the Chief of the Metropolitan Police the next day.
Nicholas was currently searching for the building’s electrical system at the same time wiring the place for his bomb. They would cripple the gang by eliminating their storage and manpower. “Done. Go.” He said through their comms.
He swiftly moved to the rooftop to join Mountford, where his sniper rifle was set up.
Looking through his night-vision scope, he followed the movements of his comrades. Beside him, Mountford aimed and shot his first kill, followed by another. -Damn. He’s fast.-
The viscount located one near the window, looking out on the streets, he pressed his trigger and his target dropped. A clean shot on the head.
Through their radios, they could hear the exchange of gun fires then grunts as bodies dropped.
Another one entered the room where Nicholas had his scope pointed, without hesitation he shot the man trying to escape. He found one more in the dark alley behind the building. One-shot. One kill.
After a few moments, heavily tinted SUVs parked outside the dilapidated building. Children, crying and whimpering were gently escorted to the cars.
He and Mountford relaxed. The kids will be brought to one of their orphanages. They will be checked, fed, and cleaned by the volunteers. Their sisters were one of those manning the institutions. They’ll be in good hands.
“Get out of there now,” Nicholas warned his peers. It was time for him to clean up.
“Two minutes, Lucifer wants to check something.” He heard Cerdic’s response.
“Copy.” And two minutes later, they exited the place, their faces grim. They must have discovered something dire.
Nicholas pressed the trigger, a loud explosion, and the place collapsed in rubbles. One down. Many more to go.

“Are you okay, baby?” Nicholas glanced at Sinclair from the corner of his eye while he was driving.
“Yes.” He sighed. “We had an…eventful night.” He should tell her. She was a part of his life now. Her hand squeezed his thigh, urging him to continue. “It was a child trafficking den. We destroyed it.”
“What about the children?” Shifting, she was fully facing him, her soft brown depths showed concern.
“The children are safe. They were sent to an orphanage.”
“Do you know where it is?” Her voice was imploring. Maybe…
“Yes. Do you want to visit this weekend? My sisters would love to meet you. They are manning the place.” She would be safer there while he and his friends went on a manhunt outside of London.
“Yes! Please, Nick. I love kids.” She was almost jumping in her seat with excitement. He smiled faintly.
“We should have at least five.” He said. His heart thumping at the image of Sinclair pregnant with his firstborn.
“Five what?” Her brows furrowed. He let the silence lengthened until she figured it out. When she did, her cheeks reddened. “Nick!” She slapped his arm playfully. “I’ll get you for that when we get home.” He laughed.
“I can’t wait, sweetheart.”

He hated leaving Sinclair.
He won’t be able to sleep without her, though he never got enough sleep during one of their hunts. This time was different. He was worried about her safety, especially when he found out just this morning her mother has gone out of town. His spies lost track of the bitch and that got him agitated. He had promised to deal with it when he got back.
“I will be fine Nick.” She assured him with a happy smile. She had been in high spirits since meeting his sisters and the children. Especially when she discovered Lady Louise was visiting as well.
“Always stay with my sisters and Louise, okay? And don’t give your guards a hard time. If you decide to go out with my sisters, use my card. Promise me, sweet.” He pulled her to him and nuzzled her hair. If this mission was not important, he would not be leaving her at all. But Lucifer needed their help. And what they found out from the documents and video hidden at the cage’s coffer rattled them.
“I promise. You will be safe, too, right?” She looked up at him.
“Yes. Of course. I’ll be back Monday night. I promise.” He kissed her lightly. He really had to go.
“Good. I have another surprise for you.” She said playfully. Her arms tightened around his neck. His d**k stirred. Last night she had surprised him with risque lingerie and they had a lot of fun.
“Hmmm, I love your surprises. Makes me cum a lot.” His dark eyes gleamed when she blushed.
“Just come home to me, Nick. I love you.”
“Always, sweetheart.”
