Taken By The Demon Alpha -
Chapter 28
Her attacker stood with two short blades in hands, with those glaring eyes watching her as she crawl and squirm on the ground. Beth continued to inch away as the demon start to advance towards her once again like a predator after its little prey. Its face covered with a black mask.
Beth could feel the burning rage in those demon eyes as it continued to snarl and bear its teeth at her shivering form, silently demanding her death above all else and leaving no room for a way out. She gasp when her back hit the frame of the bed behind her, caging her in as well.
A horrifying snarled erupt the demon wolf mouth as it came charging after her once again, both blade aiming for her neck. Beth let out another scream into the air while reading herself to be attacked by those dangerous looking blades. Before they could make contact with her flesh, the demon was thrown back against the table so powerfully that it broke into halves with a crumbling sound.
Looking back up, Beth was relieved as Asher now stood where her attacker had been just a moment ago, his brown hazel eyes has bled over leaving only a shade of darkness behind as he stood shirtless and in a protective stance over her.
Seeing Asher’s unexpected appearance in the room, The mask demon didn’t stay down for too long from the impact before it was back on its feet just as swiftly and threw himself at the Alpha’s standing in its way.
Beth’s yelp in panic with her eyes almost bulging from its socket as she continued to stare with horror at the ongoing scene before her. Even in his human form, Asher was nothing but a beast as he kick and slice the mask demon with animalistic fury and leaving no room for counterattack from his opponent.
Beth has never witness a supernatural fight as that one before and seating so up close and personal has its little disadvantages. She was starting to get in the way. Her room was barely enough to contain the raging storm in human form before her panic eyes.
Asher regained his footing after he almost slip on the floor before he slammed into the demon once again with all his might as a sickening crack was heard before they both rolled into the ground with more cracking sounds which were more from broken bones and her bed all together.
The other demon let out a strangle cry and Beth quickly rolled back on her knees and began to crawl away from both figures. Even though Asher was having the upper hand in the fight, Beth still doesn’t want to be in the way of the fight any longer than necessary.
Asher glanced at Beth and found her huddled by the door way. Apparently unhurt but clearly terrified out of her mind. He could smell fear and dread rolling off her just by looking at her. Only a moment of being distracted by Beth’s trembling figure had the mask demon twisting out of his hold just as quickly and began to limp away.
