Chapter 15

Beth realized the woman holding on to her looked awfully familiar even in the dark as her glare reminded her of the girl she fell on to while Asher was busy parading her to be hunted earlier. Her eyes were a deep sea of blue as they glare hatefully at her. Her hair was dark red just like her attitude and something in the way she smiled told Beth she was in danger.

From the look in her eyes and how firm her grip against her hair was, it’s obvious she also came to growl and snarl at her just like everyone else. It won’t make no difference as her scorn can’t possibly hurt her more than Asher already did tonight.

“Came to finish off what your Alpha already started?” The word slipped out of Beth’s lips and the girl arched a single brow at her.

“It’s depends on what your response to my question would be, it’s not like it’s going to make any difference but still, you have to answer with the right words” She said calmly and then cocked her head to the side, “What do you think of Asher’s c**k tonight. I mean, I heard you screamed like a little virgin girl when he f****d you in the forest earlier”

She paused and gave a little chuckle before shaking her head at Beth perplexed expression. “That’s just disappointing i must say but what else can I expect from a filth like you huh? You are even lucky he decided to claim you himself. I bet a bunch of our warriors really wanted to do the honor but then again, Asher would always be Asher, ever so generous and kind. Ungrateful wretch like you won’t understand it even if you try”

Beth felt a surge of anger rushed through her as she lay glaring at her face.

“Yes you are right. Only savages like yourself would truly understand the great honor in getting raped and brutalized against your will.” Beth spat with as much venom as she could.

The moment those words left her mouth, she almost regretted them as she heard the girl growl under her breath followed by her claws reaching out to grasp her neck tightly before she was thrown across the dark in the opposite direction.

Beth landed on her back with a yelp as she laid gasping for air. She saw her move just as swiftly before she came hovering over her on the floor yet again, a half little smile pulling the corner of her mouth.

With the strength of a super human, she picked her up into a seating position and Beth made no attempt to fight her off. “For speaking such vile words against me, I’m going to teach you a permanent lesson you won’t be able to forget in a hurry, that’s if you survive till the next day of course”

Beth’s eyes grew wide as her nails began to extend into longer and sharper claws before it came swiping across her face but it met with her right arm instead as she was too quick on reflex and had somehow shielded herself with it from getting attacked.

Beth lay on the floor screaming at the top of her lungs as her claws were buried deep into her flesh with warm b***d dripping from her arm on to the floor.

“You thought everyone around here give a f**k about you? Asher might have been nice to you but I’m not Asher and I don’t play very nice either” She told her with a little chuckle and twisted her claws across her already bleeding flesh, causing her to scream even more.

“That’s enough, Kara” A deep familiar voice roared at the girl and she paused for a moment.

“Go away, Alex. We are just having a little fun that’s all and besides, no one invited you here” She dragged out the word long and hard before her gaze returned back to Beth’s whimpering form and tried to get in more slashes across her skin before she was knocked violently to the floor at the opposite end.

“I said enough, Kara. Don’t make me repeat myself” Alex growled at her yet again as he had her pinned to the floor with his hands against her narrow shoulders.

“Get off me this instant” Kara snarled at Alex through gritted teeth and he quickly let her go before stepping back to stand protectively beside Beth who has now pulled herself into a seating position against the wall.

“You should be ashamed of yourself , defending that filth from one of your own” Kara spat at Alex, seeing his protective stance against her.

Her eyes darted between Beth then back at Alex, with her arms anchored against her waist, “What did the hunter’s daughter feed you with huh? Some of her tears and stupid lies? Because i won’t be surprised if she did and even more that you f*****g fell for it. I mean, how else can she get you to protect her in this manner”

“Watch your f*****g tongue Kara. Asher wants her alive so she will stay alive until he decide otherwise, now leave”

Kara made no move to do as Alex had asked of her as she stood glaring at his figure standing between Beth and her before hissing under her breath and disappeared out the door.

Once she was out, Alex quickly dropped to his knees beside her but he made no attempt to touch her. “Are you okay?”

“I’m I okay?” Beth couldn’t help but chuckle at the question. “Yes Alex, I’m perfectly okay loosing b***d tonight. now leave me alone”

Without saying another word, Alex grab hold of her bleeding arms and stared at it for a moment before he began to shift into his brown wolf. Once he was transformed, he began to lick her wound like some jelly and the more he did, the more she felt better but was too shock to say or do anything to stop him.

Alex left without saying a word after he was done only to return with a grey blanket and flash light. Dropping it by her side, he left just the same way he came, without saying a single word.

Beth woke up the next morning wrapped up in the same grey blanket, Alex had brought last night. The flashlight was still on and she reached over and turned it off before pulling herself into a seating position.

She glanced down at her body and noticed trail of dried b***d along her thighs but nothing was seen across her arms from where Kara had sliced her from last night. Aside from the visible bruises and little scratches around there, there was no throbbing pain neither did she feel any in her core even. Only an irritation of a need to use the bathroom.

Her sense of relief was promptly squandered when the door to her cell were slammed open viciously and a young male with great physique and long dark hair stormed into the room, obviously annoyed by something.

To be honest, everyone she has come in contact with are annoyed about her so she won’t be surprised if he was as well.

He didn’t even stop to threaten her but merely twisted her painfully around to face him.

“The Alpha has given permission for you to be fed so I’m here to get you but let me warn you, say or breath the wrong word out there and I will personally make you regret it, understood?”

“Yes, understood”

“Good, now c’mon” He yanked at her arm roughly, causing her to wince in pain as she was pulled back on her feet and dragged along.

Beth gasped the moment she was pushed through the doors of a large building and her eyes met with the scene before her. Rows upon rows of tables, filled with people, men, women and children all eating their food but everyone stopped abruptly and stared at her direction as they entered.

Her eyes began to dart around in search of Alex out of habit, wondering if he was there too but he wasn’t, neither was Asher. Just a bunch of strange faces though humans staring at her.

Beth wondered if she is about to be made to eat with those savages. The thought alone is enough to make her stomach churn with dread. Her eyes darted around more and settled on a particular table that sat different the rest.

It was placed in front of all those other people. She noticed that particular one has chains and shackles embedded at the top..

Beth paled as the man holding on to her began to drag her towards it.

“No, no, please” She start to erupt and even tried to force her feet to stop moving but the force pulling her forward was more stronger and forceful and soon she was grabbed and chained to the surface of the table easily despite all her struggles.

Beth spent another moment trying to pull herself out of the chains but couldn’t as she eventually crumble to her knees and the crowd of lycans watching her struggle come to nothing, roar out in laughter.

Not paying attention to her any more than necessary, he turned to face the rest of the lycans, “Let show this filth how civilized and kind we really are”

A half eaten crump of bread came flying through the air before it smacked her square across the face.

“Eat that ” She heard someone yelled from the crowd, followed by another plate of salad flying her way.

Ducking under the table, she peered back up, “What is this” Beth yelled in frustration despite trying to keep quiet, a flame of anger surging through her at the absurdity of food being thrown at her.

The lycan standing before her planted his hands firmly on the table before her as he stared her down with a dangerous growl.

“Whatever objection you might have, i suggest you keep it to yourself because obviously, it’s not needed”

Patting her lightly against the cheek, he smiled at her, “Now you would agree with me that, not only is our Alpha kind but his people are just as generous enough to offer you some of their food so don’t f*****g waste it”

He picked up a carrot and held it up to her face. “Now eat it”

A moment of hesitation had him forcing it through her clenched teeth while she choked and swallowed on it.

“F*****g chew it. Don’t even think about throwing it up or there will be consequence” he warned firmly and Beth couldn’t help but swallowed hard. She was hungry after all. She might as well eat something even if it’s crumps from these savage plate.

It was still better than going a day without food.
